It's so heart touching and sad :< I listened to the song that plays when the kid boards the ship in the trailer at the very end of the fic. It is rated Mature!

Im not initially very trusting of the voice control gimmic but if youre telling us it works well then im so happy! Calling out squaddies sounds immersive. Can you tell them things they wont recognize or does it cause problem with your other instructions? (I can see myself wanting to congratulate Garrus for things his headshot)

It sucks those codes only work for 360. I'm starting my journalistic internship on monday, and it's out of town so I can't bring my 360. Thankfully I DO have a laptop that's powerful enough to run ME3, so come the 14th I'll be rocking NewFemShep + Garrus like everyone else, yeah!

Oh man, this is bringing back an old conversation but has anyone checked out the latest artbook? On the page for turians, accompanying that well known nude turian art it says:
"At the top are designs of Turian bodies, including the final form. Most of the aliens in Mass Effect were designed without clothing or armor. Adding them later in the process to keep designs consistent and complete to avoid models with missing aspects hidden under clothing."

But then there are some concepts for his ME2 look where like, a whole half of the collar is broken off and missing.

Adding that to the stuff we've previously discussed? I'm so confused.

Here's what I hope would not happen 

Kinect had no issues with my makeshift english, although I have a horrible habit of mispronouncing "incendiary" as "incerndiary". Shep used the "incendiary ammo" just fine, Garrus used overload and concussion shot like a boss, Liara her trademark singularity, and if needed to be, I was yelling at shep to heal herself while dodging rockets. She did.

Fun fact: you can get a second/third player to control the squaddies via voice. While player 1 still does the pointing and shooting, player 2 can say "Liara, Singularity!" "Garrus, Overload!" just fine. But beware of voice command trolling - kinect doesn't distinguish between players.

It also feels natural to read the lines, out of the emotional moment I did not even bother to pick up the controller and just said the line. "It's war. People die."
The conversation rolled on smoothly from there, i was impressed.

Edit: Oh sheet. I just realized what that means for Garrus dialogue.  <3


Have not tried to say something to garrus out of the usual. My bf said something like "gawarbledarble, garrus" and he just said "Will do, Shepard".   Odd. Will try the "Garrus, love me!" line when he is not at home.

I know right  I realized if you use kinect you have to say the mushy stuff outloud and..*feels all silly*
