I don't have the demo, so I didn't know they added a roll/dive move to ME3. That'll be fun.

Omg *facepalm*....And to think we all fell for it
And wait - ....Garrus giving Wrex advice!? Is that even possible!? XD Its a bromance! Theyre bonding!
Pretty much this.The Sarendoctrinator wrote...
I seriously doubt Sidonis will have to save Shepard or Garrus' lives, at least in a way that is exclusive to him. I would guess that players are probably split about half-and-half for sparing him and letting him die, so having something this important depend on Sidonis is... just a bad idea, and would cause a lot of fan rage. As it is now, both the Paragon and Renegade choices were considered "right" in ME2 (by giving us Garrus' loyalty), and I would hate for them to take it back by saying that one choice is right (Garrus lives) and the other is wrong (Garrus dies).
For the record, this is just my opinion/mini-rant, and in no way connected to the spoilers I've read.
I think if Sidonis is alive in the players import, then a character will end up being replaced by Sidonis most likely. Like some kind of placeholder maybe. For example - [based on blog of a short story by Weekes] i know for a fact that theres a mission involving alot of turians. [Well duh we all knew that XD] and some soldiers didnt make it im guessing cuz apparently its fact Garrus is slightly upset.
This is pure speculation, everyone knows I stay as far from spoilers as possible. Im thinking if the mission is maybe on Palaven or something - and the team is helping to evacuate the planet or provide back up or something. Things get heated up, and Garrus is trying to help a group make it to some shuttle, and Sidonis shows up to help and tells Garrus to go help the others while he stalls the enemies. [numerous husks/brutes/cannibals maybe?] Obviously Garrus might not want to leave him behind on his own to fight, but Sidonis might just say "Remember, I say I'd make it up to you. Now GO!" and Garrus reluctantly leaves to help the others. They barely make it off, and they wouldnt have if Sidonis stalled them, and maybe dies in the process? Like as the shuttle starts taking off, Garrus sees Sidonis die? Idk. Just trying to envision some random scenario
If sidonis is dead, then some other soldier is there in his place. Im kinda basing this theory off the Wrex/Wreav situation.
HA! So true. Vega is an option. Imma acutally still take Liara though. For the sake of the scene with Wrex. I like when they all address each other. "I appreciate that, Liara. I wouldnt want anyone else along for the ride." and cue Garrus' and Wrex banter in responses. I think its one of those conversations only if particular characters are present. Plus Liara supports the couple, so Im sure if she sees Garrus and Shep getting "close" for a second - She'd give em privacy. The Sarendoctrinator wrote...
Think of it this way - in the actual game, I don't think you'll have to take her to that mission.Nissun wrote...
I played the demo too. Liara soured my playthrough only for Garrus to calm me down seconds later. I just... I was so angry at her. I just wanted to hug Garrus, sink my head on his neck, and ask him to tell Liara to go away. Then Garrus would pat Shepard's back, wishper "There, there...", and then look at the asari with cold eyes and say: "I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to ask you to leave."
And then I would be at peace. Oh, Garrus. That's my plan, for sure.
BTW - Heres an interesting thought. Ive wanted to share b4 but totally forgot. Gives us Garrus fans [and even ME fans in general] some food for thought....

Interesting view point, Id say.

I pounced and humped him in the corner of that 2floored section. Ironicially - Liara was downstairs and Garrus snuck up behind me while I was upstairs.
I took advantage of the brief privacy. CLEARLY Garrus started it. He came looking for me
LMAO!

-Falling into your arms
-shooting that armless robot before you do, and looking amused about it
-Frantically trying to get the door open to get to you
Like it's their first mission together as a couple
Then I play LotSB so shepard can tell Liara how she feels about garrus right before doing arrival. I roleplay it as if shepard was about to go down to that engine room and tell him herself afterwards but then the arrival mission interferes and puts her confession on hold. And that’s where I plan to leave it until ME3. So excited only 3 weeks now!

Whoo finished the suicide mission! And I caught garrus and garrus caught mePerfect. Now to wrap up the import with overlord, LotSB and arrival. Why in that order? Because they make good missions for after the romance scene. Overlord is first because you can make your LI look like they're doing cutesy crap all the way through

One of the merc leaders said that NONE of Archangel's men knew who he was, and yet Sidonis freaked out the moment Shepard says Garrus's name during his loyalty mission.
Not a big deal but...
It really bothers me. lol

Liec, that "Garrus dating advice" picture is great. xD Lucky for me, he didn't pretend that he hasn't been with Shep yet in my game. He just repeats the "I haven't forgotten what we talked about" line, and I can work with that.
My favorite part is, "pretend you have computer sh*t to do." That's exactly what he does.
HOW DID YOU GET THAT LINE 0_o
*cough*
so what did you do to make that his last looping dialogue? *gets pen and paper* take your time.
I honestly think its random. But it may be tied to whether or not Kelly comments that they would make a good couple. Sometimes she won't say that on my playthroughs- and I think its because of the first conversation with Jacob. Whenever I don't talk to him until Garrus is on board, she says the line. And then I'm fairly sure that ends up being the game with the looping dialogue. Then the other times she doesn't say it, and it glitched.
I've played through ME2 about four or five times with a romanced Garrus, and about half of them got the line. I don't think it will actually impact your import though, since Kasumi and Liara still comment on the relationship as completed.

When youre done with all the convos but arent ready to jump the O4 mass relay yet, its the line he tells romanced Shep instead of 'calibrations'. So the fact that he says it after the romance scene is some kind of loop bug. But you can call him up to your cabin so Im pretty sure the romance will be flagged when you import.

"Garrus... I love you."
"Yes Shepard."
Thats a bit cold but I'll take it. Also the ability to say the dialogue options then have her repeat it in her own words has the potential to get embarrassing I mean I have to say them, but clicking them may help me save some face.

I always do that and the conversation just... stops after Shepard speaks. Apparently Kelly be jelly in my game, and doesn't want to encourage Shep. Not that my Shep needs any encouragement to go after her space dinosaur. :3
