Oh I know! I am so excited!  I check her account every couple of days just hoping to see the next installment and I am so happy it has finally come down to page 73.  I know it will be worth the wait.


@ Rannin, sounds good! And I agree! It is the best one....at least the best one I've read! It fulfills some of my headcanon  Ersbeth is awe-some.

Red Sand by Nyhgault (not Garrus, but turian related) is also proving to be a really good read. I love Nyhgault's art style, it has a very warm homegrown vibe to it. I love it as well.

Of course, Meken needs to get to work on some more Turian/Garrus art, they have the best turian art hands down IMHO. Ultimately, I just can't wait for some more Garrus ME3 art with him in his "Knight In Shining Armour" armour.

I just checked it out! Looks really interesting. I'll have to read it when it isn't 1am. Thanks for mentioning it! I do love turian art...especially when it features Garrus, obviusly. Red Sand must be popular since Mark Meer is doing some fan film called Red Sand. Though Red Sand always = Conrad.

@LadyVakarian I accepted.  I'll definitely be on XBL later tonight (PST). Yoga class then ME3 MP. What a great way to end a day.

Well, time to catch up on everything! There were a lot of great pictures posted, and my favorites are both chibi Garrus... um, Garruses, Garri? Whatever the plural of "Garrus" is. And congrats for keeping Garrus #2 in the poll!

Also, I just have to say this. I finally saw the commercial with Garrus in it on TV! Even more awesome than watching it on youtube. My Femshep got some extra cuddle time with Garrus today too, when I was making sure her powers were right for her ME3 import (because I had been experimenting a lot with the Retrain Powers function).

The other one was a lot shorter, Garrus specific, had the names attached to each line and I believe it was the latest updated version dated sometime in Jan this year.

*grins* Seriously, if they stick with what was in the leak it's definitely very much appropriate to Garrus' personality. There's romantic parts for the ones romancing him and the rest is just.. "This is why you're AWESOME, Garrus!" worthy. Or so I felt at least. All things are tentative until I see how it actually plays out, but if the leak is to be believed I think it'll be a sweet (<-- with various overtones) scene.

I totally agree with this! It was a brilliant choice for him.

I know what you mean. I couldn't read through his romance dialogue without thinking back to the old Garrus threads! And it was awesome. They've done it in the best possible way.

You're not the only one. I won't be playing the multiplayer either (no internet connection to Xbox). But if you complete all the side missions, you can get all the same results as people with multiplayer would. I'm very grateful for that, at least. Still a little bitter about DLC squadmates and missions though.

Funnily enough I get more motherly type feeling with Jack, or well, more sisterly like. It's like when guys say 'Garrus is my Bro', well to me Jack is my 'bro'. And I do realize she's not very popular as a character but after you help her out she's fiercely loyal, very protective of Shepard which I find very sweet considering that she doesn’t open up and connect with people easily.

Also about the multiplayer, i was playing on XBL with mic and the people in my party were insulting Garrus' romance. I ended up argueing with them for the rest of the wave, defending Garrus.

Welcome to the Garrus thread, SoulShiver! There are a lot of people here in the multiplayer (I'm not one of them), so you should be able to find a nice group here. It's a shame that others feel the need to bash characters and romances when they should be giving their attention to things like shooting and keeping their character alive.

I like Jack too. "Bro" is probably a good way to descripe my MainShep's relationship with her. They're not super-close friends the way she is with Garrus, but they've got a lot of respect for each other and have a blast killing stuff together. I don't think my MainShep feels motherly towards anyone. Grunt's like a fun, destructive little brother though.

Now, my Carson Shepard... I've nicknamed him the "godfather" of my Shepards because he's insanely protective and always looking out for everyone. He's a bit like everyone's daddy, telling them to wear their seatbelts before he flips the Mako (on purpose, just to prove he can).

As far as I can tell, no. Tali and Garrus are only romantically
involved with Shep in ME3 if you got with them in ME2 (when everyone
besides Liara was straight as an arrow). I guess this makes sense. If
you showed no interest in them for two games running, why start now. As
far as the other squaddies go, I've heard everything from two of them
are bi to all of them are bi. But, that's all from previews and whatnot,
I haven't read any of the spoilers.

From what I can tell after reading the spoilers, new romances with Garrus and Tali are probably not possible. There dialogues didn't sound like they were starting a new romance, but rather continuing one that was already in progress. I can understand why they did it this way. Liara/Kaidan/Ashley were previously unavailable to PS3 players (not counting the Genesis comic, which gives little reason to grow attached to them), while Garrus and Tali were both available to everyone in ME2. Plus, they'd have to add quite a bit of dialogue to their existing ME3 romances to add a starting point that makes sense to lead into the "continued (from ME2)" stuff.

It always confuses me when people ask if Garrus will be "gay" though.  Do they just not know the correct term to use? Because that description is for guys who have an exclusive interest in men, and Garrus has already been shown to have an interest in women. The correct term, everyone, would be "bisexual". And again, if the leaked script showed all of his romance dialogue, his lines seem to be a continuation of the ME2 romance with FemShep only.

@The Sarendoctrinator yea, we still survived but I don't think they'd even done the romance which annoyed me.

And about Garrus being bi, I think one of my friends said the Garrus and Tali romances were only able to be started in ME2.
I havn't seen any spoilers firsthand, so I'm not sure.

Hey guys (and girls, ofc)! I've been lurking around in the shadows and reading this thread for months now but I now have finally decided to come out and say hello to you all. I really enjoy this thread and reading the opinions and thoughts of all of you b/c it makes me feel that I am not alone in my love for Garrus .. none of my friends play Mass Effect so .. it's good to see that there's other people like me I've played both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 more times than I can count (and with all possible romances .. wanna see all the different ends in ME3 ) but Garrus is still my favorite one .. I think I have done 3+ playthroughs with the Fem!Shep that's romancing him

Well, that was it basically .. now I'll continue to count the hours 'till Mass Effect 3 and play the Demo some more. I have actually never played Multi-Player and therefore am a total no0b but if anyone can and wants to put up with me - just PM me

Wow... you're missing out. The Turian sentinel kicks ass (emphasis on the ass ). And yeah it took me a WHIILE to get him but he's worth it! I now kill Cerberus with my awesome Turian sexiness!!!
