I wouldn't say it was a love at first sight sort of thing, but I thought Garrus looked damn cool the first time I saw him. Found a pic that sort of illustrates my first impression of Garrus.

I didn't have any idea that it was Garrus..... i think i stared fairly dumbfounded when I saw it was him. like... jaw on the floor. then i wondered how i thought it could be anyone different.

 Garrus is definitely in my top 3 favorite mass effect characters. As a tribute, I used the "How to draw turians" link in the OP and drew my own Garrus(he doesn't have the visor). I had some trouble making his skin color, bare in mind this was my second attempt, ever. Long live Garrus Vakarian!
