I'm in favor of occasional, focused nerd-raging because I think the presence of turian women would add to the diversity of characters in the game and make a great game even greater. Them being missing is going to annoy me forever, but what am I going to do, the game's done and out there. I still know that I'm going to really like ME3 when I'm playing it and that it's going to be awesome. Just a week and a half left!

OMG SAYING IT AGAIN A WEEK AND A HALF LEFT

btw, what's the spoiler policy on this thread going to be after the game's released? Obviously some of us will want to squee about stuff while others will have yet to play the game.

edit: oh dear totp let's see what i have...

Geez, I guess the wait for ME3 is really screwing me up. Last week I dreamed TIM came to me in person saying he wanted me to work for Cerberus. This night Garrus was with me bombing my elementary school building.

Given the sudden lack of action on this thread, I suppose you're not the only one. :P

I'm busy trying to get Nihilus to confess he's a woman. He doesn't believe me.

His fringe and face shape. So I can pretend we have had female turians all along and we just haven't noticed.

If we could just see a few of these walking around the Citadel, I'd be perfectly satisfied.

that drawing is stunning.

I think the Turians are the species for wich it would make the more sense having male and female be very similar, to reference the qualitarian social organization.

I don't care if females are very or little similar to males. I just want them to look fine and want Bioware to put them in the game. It's the third game in the series and it still seems they lack creativity or time or simply they don't care.
I don't like whining, but this is the end of the trilogy and it'd be nice to see that we don't only fight for Earth but for the whole galaxy and not only human families are in danger here.
Maybe Bioware thinks humans can't sympathise with an alien? huh.

:o LOVE this pic! The little guy is so adorable. And the distinctive but subtle differenced between the adults is wonderful.

I knew I would return to 10+ pages. And I actually read it all.

I'll definitely be going to Palaven at first chance, just like you guys! :)

k-baggs wrote...

Chris Priestly said that when he was playing ME3 he didn't see any female turians, and someone here who read the leaked script said she didn't find any female turian characters in it (I feel like that was Sarendoctrinator?  y/n?).  It's a shame, I was looking forward to seeing them.  There was a time when I thought, "nah, they have to be designing female turians, we should be going to Palaven, it'd make no sense if they didn't put turian women in the game."  Sigh.

I don't think that would've been me, because I haven't read the whole script - just the romances and character interactions, plus whatever info about the rest that I could find elsewhere. I haven't read anything about the Palaven mission beyond Garrus' dialogue and the script doesn't have pictures, so for all I know, they could be there. But if Chris Priestly says he didn't see any, I'd take his word for it.

It's unfortunate that they won't be there (same with turian children), but it's not a deal-breaker for me.

Also, in response to someone else's question about Solana, I'll confirm it because others have already posted about this - *warning, minor spoiler* she will at least be mentioned.

Yeah. *sigh* Too bad there aren't going to be any Turian families around. <_<

If not Solana, then are we going to get to talk to any of Garrus's family? I've been hoping to talk to his father since ME1.

I've always liked that picture of the family with the little turian kid. :D

*MINOR SPOILERS BELOW*

They're at least mentioned. I was happy with what Garrus said about his father. (I'll give out more details through PM, if anyone wants them. The gray text doesn't always work for me, so I don't want to post them here.)

Hey, lurker here!

I'm working my way back through Mass Effect 2 (already finished my Garrus/Shep playthrough!<3).  I recently got it for PC and switched off my X-box, anyway that means: SCREENSHOTS! :D  I'm a Garrusscreenshotaholic.

Anyway, hope you guys enjoy!  Looking at these gets me so pumped for ME3.  I have such a hard time staying loyal to any other love interest because Garrus is

Gotcha, guess it was someone else.  Cheez, maybe, but I'm just guessing at this point.

And I'm replaying ME2 again, too. I finished Garrus' recruitment a couple of hours ago and accidentally did something I'd never done before: I charged Jentha while she was up against the back of that dark bunkbed room on the second floor of the base, and she flew right out the window and disappeared.  I was so surprised I had to pause the game to laugh.

HOW ABOUT GOODBYE

edit: while we're on turian families, might as well link to this again, it's adorable every time

He is!  I romanced him by accident on my first playthrough... It was kinda like this: :o:pinched::wub:  I haven't been able to get away since.

I'm really hoping we do get to see female turians and turian children in 3.  I'd really like to know what the kids of the other alien races look like, not just earth kids.
