The fish hate me! I spemd 400 -somthin credits on them and they imediatly die when i go on a mission! I wonder if they keep dieing cause they're being feed the wrong food or somethin.

Same here, my Sheps won't fake interest in Kelly to have her feed their pets. But I'm determined to keep them alive somehow. I think they have to be fed after each mission, each time you leave the ship, or something like that.

...Garrus, don't eat the fish! They're pretty. (And they make such a lovely background, floating at the top of the tank during your romance scene.)

@Sarendoctrinator; yup that’s right, after each mission. Side missions are ok, and wandering around in places like Illium, Omega [etc] that’s ok too.

What I do is I buy the fish last, right before the IFF (or near enough).

I absolutely sympathize. I have two little boys, the oldest of which in maybe a year or two younger than that kid, and I was horrified, honestly. I mean, I knew that of course there would be casualties from every race that were children, but I thought that scene was done well, personally. Of course we're probably, as you pointed out, exactly the sort of people that they were hoping that struck home with.

It didn't help that my son was watching over my shoulder as I was re-playing it (for at least the tenth time) and said, "Mommy, if I died and [everyone else in the house didn't], I wouldn't be able to give you ahug and a kiss!"

So everytime I see that scene, it actually upsets me a lot, because I remember him saying that to me.

I really love that picture. In my head-cannon I'd always just assumed that my Shepard and Garrus, after kicking some Reaper behind, had flown off together and, well, not settled down exactly, but definitely adopted a couple kids. I know, I know, it sounds ridiculous. But I still like the idea.
