The endings are both ridiculously depressing and  badly written. Yes, even the "best" ending.

I think what I might do (IF the spoilers are correct) is just play right up to the end, and then stop before the crappy part. I did that with Skyrim--I refuse to play through the political quests because a) Ulfric is a racist bastage and Maven Black-Briar becomes a jarl over my dead body.

Me too, I'm ashamed to admit.  Normally I don't mind paying for DLC, but this one would ****** me off.  And I'd still do it.

Okay, guys, against my better judgment I peeked into the spoiler forum once again and found a spark of hope - at least, for now. It's still being discussed, buuut there are people claiming that the guide acknowleges an ending that's contrary to the crappy ones being hyped up.

...I honestly don't know who to believe anymore

But YOU KNOW WHAT? This thread hasn't talked about Garrus or turians for a few pages now. If for nothing else other than to ease our panic, let's talk: what's your ideal ending with/for Garrus?

i agree with Ivan. I'm sorry but I just don't see BioWare giving us crappy endings, they're really proud of these games and while they might not always be the most generous of companies, they do right by their fans more often than most. I just don't see them screwing us over like that.

My ideal ending would be Garrus and Shepard get hitched and adopt a kid or two and go fight injustice together when they get the chance. Pretty much like that Hundred Year Distance fan fic. XD

I'll probably end up doing that myself.  At least until a potential expansion comes out or something...anything.

And that's all I need to know to keep my head up until next week.  I'm officially staying the fu** away from spoilers from now on, and knowing that there is still hope for a happy ending with Garrus will help me do that.
