I think this was my first reaction to the techno turian - "That's awesome! :D Turians really do dance! And he's so good at it too. Not stiff at all. *watches video again* Garrus, why won't you dance with FemShep?"

@Sarendoctrinator: LoL! I know where you’re coming from.

My first reaction was being mesmerized by his hips. AND I still am.
(...then dirty thoughts follow)

More like female gaze, but your analogy is quite correct, yes. Plus you know what they say about good dancers.... (my turn to whistle innocently)

Just finished my latest commission, I should have that picture up soon! It's almost done, I promise to bring good things before ME3! <3

Is this the one we saw a preview of, or am I confusing it with something else? Either way, great news! The new Mass Effect art book was my "good thing before ME3" - pages and pages of turians, Saren, Garrus, and more great stuff.

@PalAvian: Well, that's good. I guess you could say I'm a realist. I take a bit of optimism and pessimism, then throw it all together with a healthy dose of, "Why should I believe you?" xD

it is the very same :3 also I'm glad they divided the artbook by game, because it came valentines day and since I have a ps3 I had to wait for the demo...it all worked out <3

Also I agree about the happiness sucker :< I know how much people love the game but at the same time they expect it to be 'their' game and are flipping desks the moment that does no coincide with such ideals.

I feel like Casey was warning us, he kept saying at the beginning of almost every interview: "Mass effect is a war story" and I was just like "Yes, War Story, I have dismissed such claims" and now it's here and it hurrrtttsss D:
I mean I was expecting sad endings, I'm glad they did, but give me something bloody hell.

I come out of a good night sleep to find 9 new pages in this thread and I was like "What could have they discussed so much in 10 hours?". Was a mistake to fill my curiosity, (and keep the tradition of reading every page on the Garrus thread). I haven't read the spoilers but I have found a new meaning in "ME3 will be the end of Shepard's story".

I will try to keep optimistic and hope that this is a misunderstanding or troll feed.

Though some people were comparing this to Dragon age 2. While it wasn't as good as the first I liked DA2, still glad I played it.

I liked it, too! But, to be fair, the part of the first game that interested me the most was the mage/templar conflict anyway, so I wasn't complaining when it came out. :D

Ahem. Back on topic: GARRUS. <3

Ok, just read the leaked script and I pray it's not so. D:
I also enjoyed DA2.
And I think Garrus is just the bees knees. :D

I'm gonna stay super optimistic and believe that Bioware would never write anything that crappy :D! after all the love and hard work they've put in the series there is no F$^%## way that they will finish it off like that :D

So excited though!!

*raises hand* I actually like planet scanning... I find it soothing. ⌐.⌐ Seriously, I just mute the in-game music, play some of my own favourite tunes and happily scan away. I've got my mainShep import totally overflowing with resources for the (probably minor) war asset boost its supposed to give and had fun doing it.

Also, glad to see this thread is feeling better this morning! I love the Garrus thread, it'd be shame if it disintegrated into what other threads are on this forums. Garrus would NOT approve!

Fun fact: If you're feeling stressed, grabbing your husbands super-crazy Nerf rifle and pretending to snipe enemies in your house is far more cathartic than you might expect! XD And I'd like to think Garrus would approve!

Yeah, I also find it soothing. A useful break between fighting and talking =].

@shy, and i don't think our husbands/boyfriends mind us doing that either ;-)

BTW i know this is a strange question, but where does the Garrus "claw hammer" reference come from? I know this is a stupid question, but i just heard that recently and was wondering where that came from?

Heads up. There' s a new and better video of the normandy tour where we see none other than our own Garrus Vakarian hanging out in the battery. It's by xbox magazine--you can google it to find it. He's looking veeeery good.
