Hey... anyone interested in helping out a newbie?

Could anyone with the PC version take a screen shot (or just find me an existing one) of Garrus' infamous "calibrations" quote from ME2? Seriously, I searched google image search and the first page on this thread for it, but I honestly can't find it.

All I want is an image of Garrus on the Normandy WITH the dialogue "Can't it wait for a moment? I'm in the middle of some calibrations."

Yeah....I read a lot of ME fanfiction and a lot of the Garrus/Shepard stuff really sucks, in particular the biting stuff - though I have seen people mess up by going in completely the opposite direction and turning Garrus into a f***ing teddy bear which is pretty useless as well. 

That said, I'm about to go into shameless advertising mode and promote an awesome fanfic called 'Spirit of Redemption' by Myetel, which (though it does break two of the cardinal rules of Garrus/Shepard fics - no biting, no hybrid kids) still somehow manages to be completely awesome.  Maybe it's the fact that it's set ten years after ME3, and Shepard is now in charge of the Spectres with Garrus as her second in command.  Maybe its the rich exploration of turian culture, with a language so believable that I've been known to wander round the house muttering 's'kak' instead of 's***' and calling people 'futtari idiots'.  Maybe its the fact that pretty much every asari in it is evil, and the science actually makes some sense.  Maybe its the fact it has an awesome Sidonis, and incredibly well done OCs.  Maybe it's the fact that it has a bio-engineered Yahg plague that kills 22,000 people a day and is being used by the batarians as a precursor to all out war. 

Or maybe, yah know, it's just that it's over 1300,000 f***ing words already, and has only been being posted for the last five months. 

Anyways, love this thread.  Keep posting awesome stuff!

You're trolling, right?  This is the fic where biotics are now psychic, turian women go into "heat" where they have to be held down and screwed by a male for 24 hours until they're "themselves" again, quarians are cat-people, and a krogan recently established a psychic bond with a clouded leopard which now follows him around?  Are we talking about the same fic?

meh, from what i've heard, everyone loves this fic, so... i wouldn't start bashing it now. but i've never read it, so i dont konw.  

i'm not too much one for bashing wht other people like to read though.

You know what?  it's not bashing to voice an opinion.  I have tried to read it.  I dislike it.  I don't like the liberties it takes with the lore, and I don't find her writing that skilled.  But I've so far kept my mouth shut since I don't want her fans to start attacking my stuff without reason.  But you know what?  I'm tired of it.  And to see it pimped here that often really makes my blood boil and moreso to be told to keep silent just because I'm in the minority opinion.  That's a ridiculous reason to not speak up.

Everyone loves it is kind of an overstatement. I also disliked it and not even for the hybrid baby thing, which is probably my number one xeno peeve.

I'd rather just ignore a piece of fanwork I don't like than criticize it though, especially if it's over a matter of taste (I thought it had technical merit, at least).

ANYHOO. Late responding, but I 'awwww'd at that Wrex/Garrus image above. I hope they have some kind of exchange in ME3 instead of not acknowledging each other again. >_>
