Yup pretty much. To me this will be my last ME. I’m not down with the idea of a prequel...

OMG! I loooove Lorik Qui'in smooth talking son of a gun. And Saren is slowly growing on me (I haven’t done the ending of ME1 yet).

Guys! My friend is a bit drunk, but she just busted into my room singing as loud as she could, "The ship hold is alive with the sound of calibrations!" I about died, and spit out my coke.
HAHA! That's great!
Hey guys, I know that I said I would be done posting my sketches, but I wanted feedback on this one. I drew Jack and then I had my first time using GIMP to color it. Waddaya think?

Great coloring job!
Thanks a lot! I was really worried, but that comes with being a perfectionist when it comes to art I guess!

Nice job! Maybe a little more shading, but I've never used GIMP so I don't know how difficult that would be. But overall it's great.

Indeed. He went from "pretty awesome villain" to "unforgettable character" in the last scenes.
Hell, just thinking about it makes me want to play the game again.

Your friend is seriously cool.
I'm going to be in the same condition this weekend hopefully, as once i get my humungous pile of lab reports and other work done i've got nothing planned but a bottle of vodka, a box of beer and a mass effect 2 Vanguard runthrough to finish, including LOTSB and Arrival. Might try switching it up to insanity just for the laughs.... Probably won't be productive, but definitely entertaining

This really did just make my day!! And interestingly enough I was drinking diet Pepsi when I read this and almost spit it onto the screen
Thank goodness for you girls.. I always get cheered up when I come on this thread ^^
And I know someone mentioned this earlier.. I'm also currently playing a ShepxGarrus playthrough of ME2 right now.. in fact I'm right in the middle of the second romance conversation.. I've reloaded it like 3 times!
No matter what sad and depressing things are floating around about ME3 I'm still soooo excited for more Garrus romance!

This:

Is pretty much the same as this:

But not this:

They did minor tweaks to his face structure, for example the sides of his face seem slightly wider giving him a more symmetrical appearance + the skin around his eyes is black which I prefer it over the previous grayish one. However subtle; Garrus II is an improvement over Garrus I (minus the scars, I’m not a fan of the scars). So Garrus II is the benchmark for me.
Garrus III:

Garrus III, looks like the sides went back to being narrower, his features seem more angular, pointier than Garrus II and the shape of his eye sockets is different and less rounder, they also appear bigger making his eyes look smaller.
I was also gonna say that his scars look deeper than Garrus II, but after seeing picture Pyn posted I’m willing to retract that one.
*Also we need to bear in mind that the game is using a wide angle lens type shot, and that tends to distort a bit so that might (or might not) be the reason why Garrus III face looks narrower. I would be interesting to see the model rendered with standard 50 mm lens.
Also; I found this great comparison posted by ArcanaLegacy and from there it does seem as face in Garrus II is more oval while Garrus III is more square:

About the new armor, over all I don’t mind it but I do hate the collar. I know it’s supposed to be silverish, but it looks white and makes him look like a priest, plus is too high and it covers too much of his neck that is his best feature after his eyes of course.

Phew! I’m done

Hello and welcome Musicalrain! Believe me, that's pretty much why I'm stalking the forums is because I'm afraid of what's going to happen in Me3. =) You're not alone.

This made a lot of sense, was well-written and already is making me feel better

First, welcome Musicalrain!Im happy youre enjoying the Garrus thread. Were now masters at keeping calm and doing calibrations! Some of us have seen the spoilers and others havent but were all trying to keep our nerves under control.
Lightly spoilerish : So far what we know about Garrus sounds good ( both for the romance from the older leaks and what some people with early versions saw of the friendship path). Were getting him fairly early in the game.As for the endings, there is room for headcanoning but there is no free pass. If you really want something specifi to happen, you need to be ready to pay the price. Knowing the endings didnt make me want to play the game any less so far.

Saren, he's as interesting as Garrus and equally as badass.
And the turian councilor is pretty awesome.

Turian councilor is just so fun to hate !
I have that weird dream of him, Saren and Lorik having a dinner and talking about FemShep+Garrus. In my mind the turian councilor wouldnt approve and find it 'juvenile'. Saren would approve. And Lorik would be enticed by the idea!

A couple of weeks ago I booted up ME2 with my main Shepard and just messed around for a bit, since I'd pretty much done everything there is to do. I walked around the prettier places in the Citadel and hit up Dark Star and danced and got hammered. Garrus and Legion were with me so I pretty much pretended that I was going on a date with Garrus and he's just in the background like "Yeah, sorry, I don't want to make an ass of myself, Shepard." as I'm knocking back ryncol and doing the Shepard Shuffle .
did he help you out once you got sick on the bathroom floor ?
