I squealed at the Tali/Garrus pairing, seeing as my M!Shep is 100% Liara's. At least Garrus gets someone when my FemShep's ain't jumping him =D And they seem to fit well enough together, not quite Fleet and Flotilla, but still its nice to seem some romance outside of Shepard's pairings. I quite like the thing going on between Jacob and Miranda in ME2 for example.

I'm pretty sure that as far as Tali/Garrus/Shepard goes, it doesn't matter who is with who. The important thing about their relationship is friendship. Kind of like Ron/Harry/Hermonine. The third wheel just becomes more of a brother/sister figure. I can't see there being much jealousy.

I actually love the whole idea of Tali & Garrus pairing up. I mean, I dont think its going to be an amazing, gooey romance, with soaring music and promises of eternal love....but yeah, I can see, in the middle of all the crazy, that the two outsiders might just cling to each other for some comfort. I'm staying clear of the dialogue, sort of managing to avoid spoilers as best I can, so I guess I cant support/decry how it was presented~but as concept, it makes me happy.
It seemed in ME1 and ME2, that everyone had no thoughts of romance with anyone until Shep instigated it, so I think its awesome that relationships form between characters who are not involved with Shepard. Gives the whole thing a more realistic feel I think.

....and in one of the dossiers, wasn't Tali downloading Fleet and Flotilla?....and Garrus listens to the soundtrack...=P

Yeah but after she watched it she immediately uninstalled her Nerve Stim Pro   I thought that was funny because I read that right after their elevator talk.

Might as well, at least there, Garrus seems a lot more interested in talking to him, he just goes on and on now, doesn’t he?,... unlike say.. hmm I donno.. being in the middle of some unfinished calibrations...

Not in a million years (at least not for me) in a case like that my shotgun would be firmly aimed at the left hand -*edit- side of his face. My issue is with him. Tali has nothing to do with it (as far as I'm aware).

I'm with you there; I suppose I always saw the relationship as more of a playful sibling rivalry-type of care. I can deal with it, but it does seem just slightly contrived.

Same here. I would never get mad at Tali, but I would be very mad at Garrus.  I think some people would say "oh stupid Tali she's moving in on my man I have to kill her" when really it's Garrus that should be taken issue with.

Of course, this won't happen since they only like each other when they're not romancing Shepard!

I think FemShep's relationship with Tali, even my Renegade Shep goes soft for her, is pretty tight. Don't believe Tali wouldn't be anything but act pal-y/sister-like with Garrus if he and Shep were together. If something where to happen, oh boy...Garrus, you better calibrate yourself off the Normandy!

The teasing he does reminds me of myself and my older brother. Turian males seem to have a fetish for quarian girls throughout the series, so it doesn't seem too jarring to me.
