I think it would be a really bad business move if they didn't include any happy endings. In fact, that's one of the reasons (possibly the main one) that I still have hope for it. Angering a large portion of your fanbase? Not a good idea for the future. I'm one of those people who will still watch a TV show after the writers make a decision that really annoys me because I'll probably still think it's better than the rest of the stuff out there, even more so if there's a part of the series I'm still attached to, and it's the same with videogames. But I could see a lot of people ragequitting BioWare games forever over that, if the rumors turn out to be true. I'm sure they know that. Anyway, I've loved all the games they made, so I'll have faith in them until they give me a reason not to, and because I don't count rumors as a good reason, I'm waiting to see the real deal.

I'll admit, I'll be pretty disappointed if there's no way whatsoever to get a happy ending, but I'm a pretty big Bioware fangirl; I'm not sure what it'd take to make me reconsider buying their games.
