Yup! I got messages from Jack, Samara, EDI, Zaeed, Tali, Javik, Jacob, Vega and Liara! You apparently get them from Anderson and Joker too, but like I said, this darn app is VERY finiky on when and where it wants to send messages. (Javik asked me if I was having trouble with the airlock, I lol'ed).

...Oddly nothing from Kaidan, but I did kinda tell him to ****** off after the coup.

Gah. Now I regret not having an iPad. I hope eventually someone out there posts all of the possible messages on the internet for us to see!

Also, anyone else loling at people saying that Garrus' romantic date scene looked like it came out of a fanfiction? Because like, I'm pretty sure that was kind of the point. Shepard says "You grab the girl and kiss her like you mean it." It was supposed to be corny on purpose, like Garrus was reenacting a scene from a cliche Hollywood action movie because that's all he knows about human courtship.

I can deal with cliche Hollywood , I mean, it includes being turianhandled!

I'm personally more surprised they included an on mouth kiss. Does this mean turians do have pleasure nerves around their mouth? Would Garrus even find it enjoyable? Is he just doing it for Shepard? I WANT TO KNOW! D:

I can see why they thought that but my reason is because I never thought they would actually make Garrus a romance option because we wanted it. He is, quite literally, the perfect subject in what inspires fanfiction. The guy/alien you can never be with and then

SURPRISE

Intense/amazing/blissful romance that you never thought they had in them. It was bliss for me. Still have to watch the vids to make sure it's real.

YES! Exactly. He bends you over and kisses you like a movie star, it was both adorable and hilarious. He's trying so hard.

Personally, I think Joker stumbled across some Mass Effect fanfiction, changed the names, and forwarded that to Garrus   Also, I found him dipping Shep to be kind of hot.

Well, there's always fan art.

Seriously, though, Garrus is the best video game boyfriend ever, and I think it's largely because he wasn't originally planned as an LI and doesn't come with the usual LI baggage that BioWare gives their characters.  No dead ex, jealousy, suspicion, bat**** crazy, wangst, or anything.  He has some family issues but never makes them Shep's problem.  He's just an extremely badass and excellent dude who is u100% loving, loyal, and supportive without reservation or hesitation.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is a catch.

That  picture is exactly what I thought of when they did that kiss for the first time!

Alistair was amazing, but he broke my Tabris' heart for the reason you mentioned.
Garrus comes first. I honestly never thought I'd one day say that Alistair could be beaten as a romance option in a Bioware game.

Agreed. Alistair dumped my Elf lady (Broke my damn heart) and in my first DA2 playthrough I romanced Anders...    Yeeeahhh

I was bloody lucky my first playthrough was a very persuasive Cousland, but I still had to do the dark ritual (**** you, Bioware!). My first Amell playthrough I broke down CRYING after he dumped my Amell (She wasn't persuasive enough to be his mistress )... then I reloaded to an earlier save and gave Anora the crown instead.

...I'm so hard to please.

I romanced Zev in DAO cause Alistair felt too much like a little brother to me. I actually loved that romance and getting the earing and promise at the end. In DA2 i romanced Fenris and it didnt blow my mind. The whole game was disappointing cause waiting 3 years for Fenris to change his mind after sleeping with him once dont make sense to me and Anders is nice until he lives with you but you still dont get to see him more/ realize he's changing.

But Garrus even if he's the best friend Shep can have, I never felt like friend-zoning him. It was always 'wow the 2 of them jsut have that dynamic going on, I hope there can be more'. The pace over the 3 games is perfect and you get to feel they are 'in a relationship not jsut chacing each other' in ME3, which the cabin scene shows very well.

So... Garrus rules I guess.

I personally woultn touch that with a 10foot pole. He wouldnt want that and it could turn into an 'Alistair' in my mind.
