So his dad is probably somewhere kicking around. Wonder if we'll meet him. Well, we'll see in like eight months!

Oh, here's an interesting off-topic question. Is it weird that as a straight, somewhat average geeky male that my favorite ME romance is with Garrus?

Well as a straight, somewhat geek male myself, I'd just call it a healthy appreciation for the writing and playstyle of the romance. Nothing wrong with that.Posted Image

BTW I've seen mentions of hybrid kids... can someone please describe what those would look like? Everytime I imagine it I see fringe, human skin,  talons... let's just say not pretty.

@Unpleasant Implications: It's about as horrible as you imagine it. It's also biologically impossible, so hooray for that! :)

When I think of hybrids I immediately imagine Jothee from Farscape. He was the son of a luxan (cool looking alien) and a sebacean (human, for all intents and purposes). Of course, he was also mutilated by the time of his first appearance, which made him look even worse, but even when he showed up later with his wounds healed he was still a very unfortunate-looking individual.

Definitely something wrong with that. ;) Just kidding with ya. Garrus' Romance Sub-plot is definitely my second favorite(second to Tali), and I'm a straight, straight-up geeky male. That being said, Garrus wins in favorite character for me, just see the sig.:police:

first of all, you totally win for mention of Farscape. second of all... yeah, thats pretty close to what i think too.  *shudders* just a bad idea all around.

I haven't watched the show for a few years now, but Jothee managed to remain a quintessential example of how awesome plus pretty doesn't necessarily equal awesome and pretty. :P

Fewer calibrations in ME3? I SAY THE NAY! Garrus's calibrations should result in some super weapon & if you interrupted him to many times in ME2, the universe is screwed. :P

Proof that all those calibrations will pay off in ME3.

When I saw that it made my day. I commented lol!
Complete OVERKILL!

And call me crazy, but to me thats strangely a turn on. Garrus shooting everything in sight with that. Obliterating all with a weapon he calibrated himself. So strong and powerful *reffering to him and the gun* X3 Hmmmmmmm His intelligence intrigues me more. Makes ya think what else his calibrations can do.....

Yea - im bad XP

As for hybrid babies - *sigh* [this conversation againPosted Image] - I shudder at the thought.  Im totally against hybrid mutant babies. Thank goodness its not possible - unless they do gene alterations/therapy or something among those lines. I vote adoption! And heck - they have an "adopted child" already, they just dont realize it! Its Grunt! XD

Wow, What a family....
- Human x Turian couple with an adopted krogan son that was tankbred. And the son hates turians with vivid memories of toturing them.

Priceless. Posted Image
I can totally see a sitcom out of that. heh.

What really got me was the top-rated comment by leeron111:
"I FINISHED MY CALLIBRATIONS[sic], B!TCHES!!!!!"

And then imagining BK shouting that across the battlefield.
Instant comedy gold, just add calibrations.

I remember posting that same link here, but it's good to see it again.

I thought the other top-rated comment was funnier:
"Reason #332 not to ****** off Garrus: He's got an IMPRESSIVE minigun."

Makes me wonder how many reasons there actually are.:P

I hope we get to meet the fam.  Definitely will be disappointed if that doesn't happen.  It seems like they're floating it out there, with comments about his dad in ME1 and the Shadow Broker messages about his mom.

Ma and Pa Vakarian!  Make it so, Bioware!!!

And I don't think you're strange in the slightest.  None of the other romances appeal to me at all, and in DA I liked the Morrigan romance a lot.  I just usually identified with her in the romance scenes rather than my PC.

I WANT ONE!

And in somewhat-related Garrus news.. I was watching the 4th TMNT movie tonight with hubby (the one that's completely in CGI) and realised where my xenophile "fetish" started.. I totally had a crush on Leonardo when I was eight.

But anyway.. good to see some posts in here, was worried our thread was dieing :(

There's a reason it's rare to find turian art outside of turian space.. but you gotta hand it to the fans who are dedicated enough to make such things.

Heh. My initial thought was- Makes me wonder what reasons 1-331 are Posted Image

The #1 comment I REEEEAAALLLLYYYYY want Garrus to say in ME3 is BK's "Go F*** Yourself" Posted Image That dubbing of how "Garrus gets fired" is one of my all time fav parodys.  BK gets fired original.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And hmmmmmm - that garrus cake.
Don't you just want to eat him up? Posted Image
Ok, I'm laughing so hard there are tears coming out.
Can't Garrus get at least one f-bomb in ME3? I mean, we only got the one from Aria in ME2 and it's SO in-character for him.
And YES! THATS the word im looking for. Give us a Garrus "F-bomb"! Ha!
Theres a couple of moments in me2 I really thought he was going to say it but didnt. I mean seriously - even Sidonis said it!
And I found that tweet u mentioned on the classic thread ^_^
Garrus, and James with Revenants is devastating. You need to manage them but they make bad guys go away with vigor.
LOL at Arcians response Posted Image
@GV_Arcian
@PWatamaniuk Pfft, Garrus have ALWAYS made bad guys go away with vigor, regardless of weapon. Nice to hear that James performs well, tho.
Its true though. Garrus does make baddies run away at all times. He doesnt even need a weapon. Just his presence.Posted Image
And sure this isnt Garrus - but in general - turian butt does also refer to Garrus so it counts! XP
