YES. I got hit on three times right after losing Thane. Samantha, James (sorta) and... Diana Allers to this day I still don't understand the purpose of her character.

Samantha's adorable, but I'm playing a straight Shep.
And I like James but come on... didn't you notice there's a turian in my bed? Geez.

They were using the Vulture tactic. Wait until you're vulnerable then swoop in.

I can remember a bit where James is getting his N7 tattoo and my Shepard asked him (obviously jokingly in my mind) if he's ever going to make good on all his flirting. His stuttering attempt at a reply was hilarious.

Diana Allers only use was giving options for boosting war assets through the replies in her interviews. If she didn't do that I would have introduced her to the airlock.

I let Diana on board because apparently she was a war asset. 5 points? What the hell. The only reason she stayed on board was for the interviews >> And I- and my Shep- didn't see her 'I'll follow you home' comment as flirting, just as a 'you keep making my ratings skyrocket'.
I didn't mind James's flirting, and he seemed to be doing it with Steve so I just took it as friendly banter p:
Samantha is so cute, though I didn't realise that she was trying to flirt with my Shep until the 'join her' option came up xD

So I guess me and my Shep have serious tunnel vision and think only of Garrus.

Speaking of which, I wish I had an iPhone. The Datapad app that lets you get mail from him is the cutest ever

I was just hated the timing. I actually liked Samatha, but I'm irritated that the relationship is more of a fling. If it was developed like Cortez, I might not have minded it too much.

I'm also annoyed with how the game pushed Liara or the VS at you. Look, if I like them that much, I probably would have got with them in ME1. I would not, as I did after I found out Garrus was romancable, gone back to an early ME1 save and killed Kaiden so I wouldn't cheat.

I'm replaying NG+ and just finished blowing up the Geth ship... it it totally my headcannon that Shepard is sitting on Garrus in the cargo hold of the Geth fighter. Tali is way up front and it looks like Shepard is sitting on Garrus's leg.

Yep, I could never pick control or synthesis. In the first, you become one with what you hate and have been fighting for three games. In the second, you essentially rape the universe by imposing your choices on every sentient being. No thanks.

For me it's always destroy, not that the endings change much between the three. Which is why I think it must be a dream. I hope.

I won't give up on Garrus!

Exactly. Most importantly, you give into the wishes of that abomination of a God child if you pick control or merge. It encourages you to. My Shep would never obey a Reaper.

Plus, red is pretty.

None of us is giving up Garrus methinks.

Well remembering my conversation choices at the beginning of Mass Effect I wouldn't blame Kaidan for not believing I was with Garrus. "I don't like the idea of putting my life in the hands of a Turian, sir." comes to mind, from right back at the beginning of Eden Prime. I was such a racist back then, kinda like Pressly from the first entries in his datapad journal in ME2.

I avoided that whole situation by blowing Kiadan up on Virmire, though. Then I got Ashley back on board after the Citadel and she p****d me off with her comments about the Geth. <_<

This has happened to me three times now, with Garrus, Alistair, and Anders.  My BF is a gamer too but usually doesn't play BioWare games--he prefers to glance over and watch me play whenever he's curious.  It makes the romances interesting

We both have a pretty good sense of humor about it, though, even it it gets awkward.

The fangirl in me says "yay catfight for my love!". But honestly it would have been very hard to pull off in a convincing manner. They're all adults. Shep's not a piece of ham. I think they're mature enough not to act like teenagers.

It would be delightful to watch, of course.

Pants on an ass, really?  I was considering saving Kaidan when I replay ME1 since Ash is such a flaming witch-with-a-b, but that is gonna be really annoying.

I said it on the Thane thread, and I'll say it again here.  Getting the VS to back off on the ninjamance is like trying to peel off an overly cuddly octopus.

Nope! I was really disappointed. I was looking forward to Kaidan being a ****, and Garrus taking the higher ground and walking away. 'Cause you know he would.

That, or Garrus headbutting Kaidan, Harkin-style.

Ah, I have a question: when you get hit with the Reaper beam near the end, does your squad die? 'Cause I almost always have Garrus with me, but I don't want him ending up as a turian roast.
