Why do I have a vision of Garrus waking up and panicking in his head? "Oh no! I don't want to wake her up. . . But if she wakes up without me she might think I want to leave her! I should leave her a message! What should I say?" And then figures it out right when she wakes up. . .

Repost.  And I think it's sweet how Garrus wanted to let Shep know she was beautiful without waking her up.  Just the fact that they can find one another attractive is full of precious.

This time around I was pure Renegade to him and felt much better for being able to tell him to stop holding up everything to question me AGAIN or to just leave. I refused to let him join the Normandy again, too. I'm not sure what else can trigger it, but Joker saluting me and saying that was me finally getting the respect I deserve felt like at least one person on the crew understood why I didn't want Kaidan on the team. TBH I kind of like the idea of Kaidan growing a spine where Shep is concerned.  My Shep terrified him in ME1.  I hope he's not as much of a brat as Ashley is; I only let her on board the Normandy because the alternative was giving her her own command, and I don't trust her judgment as far as I can throw her after the Udina coup.

LOL.  Given how handsy they are in the actual romance dialogue, I think my Shep probably jumped Garrus right then and there in the battery as soon as he pulled out that bottle of wine.

We dont see the bottle again after that first convo. Taht can only mean it has been put to use way before the cabin scene :innocent:

Or to save for after everything is done, like I told Dr Chakwas to do with the brandy. Man, when Shepard gets back to the Normandy after all this is done with she is going to get totally smashed.

Thanks, I think   Between DA2 and ME3, I've been on a depressing streak of games.  Maybe I should go play some Civ and nuke my enemies into the ground.  That might make me feel better

I don't think he thought she was beautiful right away. I think it grew with the relationship. I mean, look how alien humans look to turians! It must have taken a little time.
But I'm certain he means it, and that makes me even happier.

I think at one point in ME2 he says he doesn't "have a fetish for humans". I still think this is true. He just has a Shepard fetish and, in my headcanon, he came to appeciate her body over time.

My Shep was originally terrified of Turians xD Garrus helped her over come it, and eventually love turians.

Also Garrus totally braids Shep's hair for her.

I find it amusing at how many characters hit on Shepard except Garrus. Shep is the one who hits on him. I think it adds something to the relationship, I can see him being surprised that out of all her options she picks him.

I think Shepard and Garrus' relationship pretty much started out as absolute respect for each other. As he said "There's nobody in this Galaxy I respect more." That respect forged stronger ties than any physical attraction could
