yup I never thought I'd say this but liara became my galpal 0_0 and I brought her along on missions
I hereby apologise for any crap I gave her in the past she really evolved into a good friend
Same here xD I used to hate her, but now she's my bff.
I used to like Kaidan too, but now I just find him irritating :/ Told him to gtfo.
Also, I'm glad my only Shep is a Garrusmancing Shep because of Tali; the Garrus/Tali thing wouldn't bother me if it didn't seem like Tali was just using him. Which really confuses me because I never thought she was like that o_o
Why is it that people here seem to think Tali is just using him? She says that line after Garrus says that it's nice to have something to come back to and she says it in a really flirty/teasing tone, she doesn't actually mean it, I thought that was obvious because of her tone and because she has a fondness of teasing/making fun of people every now and then. I don't think she considers it a fling at all, it's just the type of good natured teasing that a lot of couples engage in.
Edit: Ninja'd

Good to know we share the same feelings on Liara. Was bloody odd, I HATED her ass in ME1, she didn't make any SENSE to me, unlike Tali, she gave no indication she could even fight in her recruitment mission. Then she started getting obsessive to the point of trying to bring Shepard back to life...
I came to adore her in LotSB though, she became a bad ass, and even more in ME3 (Though out of all the squadies, she makes the LEAST amount of sense to me being a squad member, since she's supposed to be the SB and all). I headcannoned that the memory she shows Shepard in the goodbyes was actually her telling Shepard that she always loved them... And also secretly impregnanting herself with Shepard's spawn.
At least Garrus will always have Shepard with him in some way now that he's stuck playing LOST with Joker.... you know, provided he doesn't starve first.
I was okay with Kaidan, loved him in ME1... until he was all like 'YOU WORKING WITH CERBERUS!?', so I pretty much told him to go **** himself. <_<
Garrus is a bloody alien and he trusts me better then Kaidan ever did evidently. It was only canon he and my FemShep end up together.

bluum was also nice enough to record it for us.
Shepard totally has an 'Awkward' look on her face after he says that. xD

That's amazing. I love the idea of Shep and Garrus being obviously head over heels for each other.

His romance is my favourite in game. There's just so much trust between Shepard and Garrus, romance or not.
One thing that does annoy me is the 'I love you', he doesn't say it. It wouldn't bug me so much if Shepard didn't say it herself, because I feel their relationship is close enough they don't NEED to say it, but the fact that she does and he doesn't BUGS ME SO MUCH.

Also, replaying ME3 for the sake of... Garrus (He should feel proud, he's the only reason I want to replay this game) and noticing how uncertain he sounds at the 'reunion' on the Normandy: "Wasn't sure about the protocol on reunions... or... if you even still felt the same way about me."

Why can't FemShep let her actions speak louder than words then? I prefer thinking that 'I love you's between them are rare and few, maybe when Shepard or Garrus are at the brink of death or something. (I read an awesome fanfiction about that somewhere on here...)

God damnit, plot bunny.
I have enough work to do already!
Shep says it- on the date, she says "I love you Garrus Vakarian"- but I'm not sure if he says it back

He does say it in the Datapad notes to Shep. And I like the idea of it being so blindingly obvious that no one really needs to say anything.
His uncertainty during the reunion does make some sense; it's been six months. That and Garrus shows some telling moments of insecurity about the relationship in ME2 and early ME3. He loves Shep, but I think he still finds it a little surreal that this beautiful, badass, galactic hero of a woman picked him.
And besides, if six months is all it takes for Jacob to sign up with some random broad, Garrus's little moment of wondering is barely a blip on the radar <_<

Yeah I know, I think I was the first one in this thread to point that out to you guys. I still have it on my iPad.
And yeah, it does, I was just pointing it out because it was just so... adorable.
The more cutscenes I watch with Garrus in them, the more I realize how much emotion Turian plates or eyes can show.
...Or I could just be insane.

ALSO he greets you differently if you romance him. He puts his hand over yours instead of a handshake. So yeah he cared about you big time but 6 months of zero contact made him worry you didn't feel the same. Garrus doesn't assume stuff he's careful when it comes to romance

I'm fully on the insanity boat. Just replayed the date scene for the fifth time in a row.
The Datapad makes me want an iPhone, but they're so damn expensive ><

Also: I have a question about those face markings. Are they facepaint, or actually tattoos?

@Hyrule: Yup, and at the same time, he trusts you. He doesn't question you constantly about Cerberus like Kaidan did, he didn't assume it was immediatly over when you were taken in and hook up with some random doctor like Jacob did.
...Thane doesn't do anything bad except only have 3 lines available with him before he dies.
Saw what happend to the jacob romance 0_0 holy crap. I know he wasn't liked much but I never thought the writers would pull something like that. I mean I was looking forward to a "prize" joke.
And thane is my second fav romance...so I'm pretty pissed about his fate. The shep I chose to romance him...well she already lost her first LI kaidan ...and her team on akuze...and sacrificed the council...you get the idea. I thought thane would get a chance to live and hoped this shep could finally defeat this horrible pattern in her life once and for all.
That's where I wanted to go with her arc but it seems I won't be able to.

Facepaint apparently, since Shepard can tell Garrus to just slap some face paint on the side of his face that took the rocket.
However, Garrus' scars in ME3 seem to sugget to me they might be more permenent than originally thought.
EDIT: Hm, top of page...
