So what's physical sex like then with an asari?
Depends on the Asari I guess. The experience with Liara is likely to be a lot different to the experience with Morinth.

I stopped counting how many times I've played that scene. I even recorded it on my computer. Still smile like an idiot. Every. Single. Time.

Please do. Every time I play his conversations I grin like a fool, and I had to try so hard not to squee at work when folks started posting his texts.

I loved it when you first meet Garrus on the Turian mission and he takes your hand when he greets you. *SQUEE*

Do you guys have any idea where I can find the patch to fix Garrus' face in ME1?
I don't think there is one. Something to do with the way it was programmed meant that to give him a higher definition texture would need an enormous patch (multiple gigabytes).
Also yay! Finally got my Shepard on here as my display pic.

In one of the old Garrus threads, there was a link to a texmod package and instructions on how to use it. It doesn't actually install the texture, though; it only uses a program to go through and overwrite that texture. It also has been known to cause issues with the galaxy map, etc.
I had it at one point but I don't think I kept it. Low-res Garrus is annoying but I'm iffy on trusting third-party programs.
And you know that once they figure out what to do about this ending fiasco, there'll be an eventual three-game packaged re-release with all DLC already on the disc. Possibly remastered. Can't imagine they'd fail to fix ME1 Garrus's face in that case.
Also, my response to those of you who have expressed giving up hope:

I play on the xbox so I don't think I can record my dates with Garrus, which is a shame as it is weird watching other peoples' videos of the romance scenes with their shepards.

It's the little things. That, his texts from Datapad, the way he slips his arm around you while trying to comfort you...
And did anyone else interpret his LOOOONG ass look at Shep when they meet on Menae as him thinking, "I really want to jump you right now"?

Whaaaat.
I'll have to pay closer attention next time.
The handshake gave me that impression actually. The way he looks at her...

Also, on the Citadel when he asks how Shepard is doing. Basically I was grinning like an idiot in every scene with him.
Followed by crying at the end.

It is exactly how I wanted them to react to each other, not ignore the fact that they got together. And that is why I still have love for Bioware, for giving me that.

Aww. *hugs*
There's another scene I love. Right after Tuchanka, when he insists that you take some rest, that he'll take care of the work for now. Shepard looks tired in that scene, and he's wonderfully comforting.

I do love the way he holds her and in both of his when they meet up again <3
A small part of me wishes their reunion had been a bit more like Jack's if she's your LI; she totally jumps Shep and they make out in front of everybody... twice
but our Gar-bear is a shy fellow... Makes me wonder if it's a cultural thing and Turians are just not all that into PDA... although neither of them are as subtle as they think they are and that cracks me up!

there are quite a number of reasons why i shouldn't be drinking and 'drawing' at the same time, and this def belongs to those
i do however hope that i got the french right. the whole, original phrase is from letters from stalingrad and reads as follows: Il n'y a pas de victoire, mon général! Il y a encore des drapeaux et des hommes qui tombent et, à la fin, il n'y aura plus ni drapeaux, ni soldats...
translation (my french is quite rusty): there is no victory, general! there are still flags and men who fall and at the end, there will be neither flags nor soldiers ...
oh, and first post in this thread. not sure if i should be proud or not :'D (well, not with this drawing anyway..)
uhm yeah, good night from the european front
