My all time favorites are Atton Rand (I know he killed his beloved one too, but I don't care!), Garrus and Valen. Garrus romance is the best one ever, the absolute winner. PERFECT. There's no objective reason why I put Atton in first place, he's just the love of my life from games 

Heh, I always soft spot for and wanted Bao-Dur to be romanceable myself.

Also I just want to point out that if you romance Valen he will never take Mephy's offer at the end. Valen will always be my favorite I think, but Garrus is a very close second.

Anyway, back to Garrus, so I guess his mother died? He never mentions her in ME3 and in LotSB we find out from Liara's terminal that she was dying.

Theres also one character from Jade Empire that was pretty interesting. Not the one thats availible to romance but the one who sacrifices himself so you can get out of the Death Hand hideout.

So this link has a lot of the Garrus banter and... from like 6:55 on lt's banter with Tali and... I'm assuming you only get it if you aren't romancing either of them because it gets progressively more flirty.

With the whole Garrus/Tali thing at first I was like "BACK OFF MY MAN TALI!" but after listening to the above mentioned banter and watching the scene in the Battary (My mandible got caught on her helmet!) I think it's pretty adorable.I think my favorite exchange is:

"I use a sniper rifle Tali, I like to keep things at a distance"
*Pissed off* "You certainly do"
"Yeah... wait.... what?"

This is so annoying. I want to do a ME3 run with my other Shepard for days now, but when I see Kaidan I think about Garrus again and him hooking up with Tali and I get jealous and aarrgghh. >.<

I have a question. What class does your femshep with Garrus usually have? Originally, I imagined an adept, but then I started playing my paragon infiltrator Marie, who seemed to fit so much better for me. For some reason, I have this recurring scene that happens in my head at one point, since Marie gets this grin on her face every time she successfully headshots an enemy. It freaks everyone else out, except for Garrus.

Marie kills a marauder with a single head-shot and takes cover to reload her sniper rifle, smiling to herself. Vega has something he has to say.

Vega: I hate it when she does that.
Garrus: What?
Vega: Smiles like that. It freaks me out.
Garrus: I think its cute.
Vega:*shakes his head* Loco. You're both loco.

I play a Paragon Engineer, always.  I end up having two bars of renegade, because there are some instances even my Paragon Shep just can't ignore (Udina for example).

I just cant get mad at them for hooking up if i dont romance Garrus or Tali. Its cute and flirty, and it shows that they can do something on their own. Its so not on the same level of Garrus/Shep.

I do prefer the bro/sis relationship they had before but not enough to get jealous. Im actually proud of them for finding a bit of happiness in that grim time once one of them has gotten over shepard (depending if you play femshep or maleshep). I want Garrus to be happy even when my Shep isnt romancing him !

here i made the mistake of my first romance being Garrus...
Every single one of my femsheps is with Garrus

I really have tried other Male LI's in ME2, but then i see Garrus in the canon battery.... calibrating on his own.... and its over

Vanguard and then Garrus gets pissy when she charges across the battle field right into a group of enemies with her shotgun. Actually that was my fav move in ME3. Charge, point blank shotgun blast.

Nice dialogue!

My Garrus femShep is an infiltrator. It wasnt on purpose or anything, its jsut my first and canon Shep. It makes the sniping contest all that more meaningful tho. Ive always headcanon them sniping away since ME1.

i still missed on purpose during the date tho. Its just to nice to get a chance to make him happy.

It's usually either infiltrator or engineer.... Though even with engineer she has a sniper rifle 
Some couples take hikes, see movies....

Well I have to say that one of the things I was hoping was in the garrus romance was to have him snuggled up to Shepard but having him doing some of Sheps work while she sleeps shows how much he cares for her. I guess the reason people like the garrusmance is that it's not sexual, it's based more on mutal respect and trust. It's nice to seek respite here from the ending drama. But anyways, I would've liked a little scene of garrus hugging Shep and a shedding a tear. To show that something has gone right. That was adressed heavily in ME 2 and I wanted some indication that it has gone right. Hence the tear. Also to show Garrus the person and not Garrus the soldier.

My Shep is an engineer who has used sniper rifles since ME1. It's just the most fun for me, I don't have any real reason for it. Though I do imagine her geeking out over tech with Tali and rifles with Garrus.
