Or maybe you'd prefer a shotgun and some Cerberus Troopers? :<

You know, on the date thing... I think the reason Garrus wants to outdo you with marksmanship is because Shepard's pretty much better than him at everything else. So, it means a lot to him to be the better shot. Shepard's the better leader. Shepard is a Spectre. Shepard never got every single person in her squad killed.
Granted, she can't dance, but when's the last time you saw Garrus dance?
Never? That's what I thought.
So yeah, I think it has more to do with, "There's one thing *I* can best you in" than "male pride." But if you match him in marksmanship, you take that one thing away from him. It's more honest of you, and takes him down a notch. And honestly I would like that option better, because it speaks more of equality, if it weren't for the fact that Shepard doesn't get a hug afterward. Because it really bugs me that Garrus starts mocking Shepard. But at the same time, I understand that you're giving him one thing to be better than you at... so... mixed feelings I guess.
Edited to add: Mockery isn't a good thing in any relationship. And it really doesn't fit in with the respect that Garrus is supposed to have for Shepard. That's why it bothers me. Arguments are healthier than mocking.

Haha forgot about that. My grin was beyond stupid. Because if anything, garrus knows how to calibrate a gun.Mara Shep wrote...
Someone in another thread just mentioned the scene where Garrus outdoes Legion on calibrations. SO AWESOME.

Sorry maybe somewhat spoilerish but if you use renegade dialogue when saving grissom kids, Garrus is all "Still as Charming as ever." and Jack snaps back "Bite me Garrus, or better yet, bite her I bet she likes it that way" Jaw on floor.

Garrus says "Hi" to her regardless of your dialogue choice.

In my head canon the indoctrination theory was right. Shepard lives and they move to Edan Prime or Vermire and they adopt-]
A human girl who they name Ashley.
And a turian named Nihlus. I'm sure they adopt way more children but those are the ones that have the names of the lost.

Yah I have done it both ways. the "hi" didn't do much I like the "Actually, Bite her" bit... I love seeing the relationship acknowledged by squaddies.

I was VERY positively surprised by the way Bioware handled Garrus' romance. I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favourite turian in the galaxy! Little Krogan babies? Hell yes.![]()
