In my head canon the indoctrination theory was right. Shepard lives and they move to Edan Prime or Vermire and they adopt-]

A human girl who they name Ashley.

And a turian named Nihlus. I'm sure they adopt way more children but those are the ones that have the names of the lost.

so i have some thoughts.  first of all, hey Hyrule!  miss you guys. where's Arc been???  and k8ee? and Arcian? and everyone else?

secondly ... go here. its very exciting news.  


thirdly, i have decided that like Alistair, if I'm female... i can only romance Garrus.  so in order to romance Kaidan, I'll be making a boyShep.  thats what I have to do in DA:O for Zevran.  ....  my Shepards are always either Adepts or Soldiers.  i like my assault rifles.

So yeah, I think it has more to do with, "There's one thing *I* can best you in" than "male pride." But if you match him in marksmanship, you take that one thing away from him. It's more honest of you, and takes him down a notch. And honestly I would like that option better, because it speaks more of equality, if it weren't for the fact that Shepard doesn't get a hug afterward. Because it really bugs me that Garrus starts mocking Shepard. But at the same time, I understand that you're giving him one thing to be better than you at... so... mixed feelings I guess.

Edited to add:  Mockery isn't a good thing in any relationship.  And it really doesn't fit in with the respect that Garrus is supposed to have for Shepard.  That's why it bothers me.  Arguments are healthier than mocking.

I didn't see it as a mockery. To me, it was more like a friendly banter/ribbing. Shepard and Garrus go way back so they can tease each other like that without any bad feelings. I think the scene was very cute and humorous and it reflects well how comfortable Garrus and Shepard are with each other.

Who says females don't have pride aswell. The [miss the shot] irked me, not because it made him happy, but because the last line sounded like shep is better in bed than at sniping.

And the banter was more tongue-in-cheek than full out mockery. IRL, my significant other and I playfully tease eachother when someone got the +1up in some game, be it a bigger killstreak or just top of the scoreboard. It is a friendly and playful competition. I saw Garrus//Shep as such.

Haha forgot about that. My grin was beyond stupid. Because if anything, garrus knows how to calibrate a gun.

Actually, I just figured out that the Klixen part is quite a joke - I just looked them up on the wiki again and it says:

Because they tend not to panic when aflame (unlike most organic
enemies), the recommended strategy is to disable them from afar with
concussive, cryogenic, or biotic attacks. Shredder Ammo and Armor Piercing Ammo helps to kill Klixen quickly[...]

It's his thing, provided you're not doing the same with a sniper rifle and AP ammo. Since Nina Shepard rolls with Warp Ammo instead, she has some trouble getting sniper shots through armor. Without Garrus group AP ammo, she'd have to resort to Warp - which defeats the purpose of stylishly sniping them.

He's such a cutie.

Edit: Now I would love to hear her say
"Okay, okay. Remember when one of these bugs exploded right in my face..."
And take the conversation from there.

Yah I have done it both ways. the "hi" didn't do much I like the "Actually, Bite her" bit... I love seeing the relationship acknowledged by squaddies.

Haha, in my headcanon they adopt a Turian and name him Nihlus too. And also a baby Krogan, and they name him Solus, since Wrex's first baby is going to be Mordin. And then I thought about them adopting a human baby too, and naming it Ashley, but then I remembered I hated Ashley, and the only other squadmates of mine who died were Legion and Thane, and I can't really work with Legion's name, haha, so perhaps a human whom they name Thane? I'd like it if they had all boys anyway -- they'd be one adorable multi-cultural, matriarchal family. :'3

But then again, maybe I'd just stick to the one Krogan baby -- wouldn't want their Krogan baby to feel left out, surrounded by a family of humans and Turians.

I always play as an infiltrator simply because I LOVE the sniper rifles. I'm thinking of switching it up for my next playthrough and want to have biotic abilities. Which should I choose? Adept, vanguard, or sentinel? It'll be hard not to be a badass sniper but I want to try since I like biotics too. Slam is fun! Especially during LotSB and Arrival where the enemies get sucked into the air.

In my headcanon, my Shepard would smirk and say:

"You got me all figured out, precious. Come on tell me...where does Garrus bite me?"

Poor Garr-bear would possibly facepalm and mutter: "Not outside the bedroom, dear."

I am suddenly reminded of that part in Dragon Age when Leliana asks the Warden about her relationship with Alistair...

My vanguard misses the shot. If I could have her miss the FIRST shot, I would. She doesn't do range. She does charge. The only gun she carries in 3 is a shotgun with a giant spike sticking off it. Now if there'd been a boxing match or hand to hand, Garrus would have gone home carrying his grey butt in a box, but he can win at sniping. >> Against my Garrusmancer, anyway.

What she's good at is introducing faces to fists. And having a really big shotgun. In headcanon, Garrus recognized her in 2 the second she charged a merc and started punching.
