I almost always play as a biotic, although I'm not sure why, but ever since the mission in ME2 when you can learn another weapon type my Shepards have loved using the sniper rifle.

My Shepard made the shot in ME3 but in my head-canon Garrus is still the better shot.

For some reason I'd like Shep to have a daughter named Chell.

Imagine Shepard facing GLaDOS!

Someone in another thread just mentioned the scene where Garrus outdoes Legion on calibrations. SO AWESOME.

He tells Legion not to tell him how to do his job. I was like f'yeah Vakarian! <3

Imagine *EDI* facing GLaDOS!

@Hadeedak: same for my vanguard. I don't see her beating Garrus at long range.

Does anyone know of any good garrus fanfiction. The "endings" have resulted in an addiction to fanfiction lol. Just read Violence, Voyeurism and Vigilantes on fanfiction.net and it was sooo good and now I need more. Please help a Garrus fan out.

Posted it before but this is my all time favorite, and headcanon ending :P

been thinking about the ME3 "endings" and whats been learned about reaper indoctrination through all games...

all 3 'ending choices' to me feels like Shep's been/is indoctrinated...
doesn't bother me any... i like ME3 more now...

working on a fanfic or two myself so... slow but getting there...

So...which do you guys think is better to play? Adept, vanguard, or sentinel? As far as have biotics go.

I'm actually reading Violence, Voyeurism and Vigilantes right now; I'm about half-way through. I don't have any suggestions, since this is the first fanfiction I've ever read, but once I'm finished, I plan to read Sense and Flexibility, which is even longer, but the title absolutely won me over, haha. I figure since the title is a Jane Austen reference, perhaps it will be less dark and well... deviant than Violence, Voyeurism and Vigilantes. While I can't seem to tear myself away from reading it, I was rather struck by the author's depiction of Garrus's personality. I never thought him to be so brooding and angry -- but again, I'm entrapped by it, like it's a guilty pleasure, haha.

Anyway! If anyone else can think of fanfic suggestions, I'd love to hear them as well. I would particularly love a light-hearted one that has plenty of witty, humorous Garrus dialogue.

To each his or her own but...

Vanguard. They're basically weapons of massive destruction.

Sense and Flexibility? Seriously? I named my Shepard after Jane Austen.

Vanguard, hands down. They are lethal, can tear through groups of enemies with no problem at all.

In higher difficulties the vanguard is crap though. Adept is squishy, but the point is to annihilate the enemy before they annihilate you. Stasis alone usually clears one wave of enemies without any harm coming to you. As a vanguard charging in to them usually gets you killed.

Sentinel is lackluster imo.

Vanguard if you have a ballastic punchy Shepard who isn't above solving problems with fist. Adepts always struck me as a bit more thoughtful and disciplined, as well as stronger biotics with a greater awareness of their surroundings. And sentinels... Well, I think Kaidan's a pretty good one, as far as that goes. Smart, sensitive, all that good stuff.

Vaguards uniiiiiiiite.

Because I love charging at my enemies, b*tch slapping them, then charging away again. Also, charging in to save the day when Garrus gets swarmed.

I'm romantic like that.

I was rather surprised by the authors take on garrus too but wow those love scenes! It is a lot more intense than I would have ever imagined. I will never look at shepard standing in front of the galaxy map the same again lol:P

Haha I do that too! Whenever he gets overwhelmed I'm all like "not my boyfriend, you b*tch!" and charge + nova.

Works every time. <3

Well I play on Casual so...xD But thanks, I'll see how I do as a Vanguard once I finish my second playthrough tonight. Sense and Flexibility is a good fanfic. I'm reading Violence, Voyeurism, and Violence right now. It's interesting, rather dark for Garrus, not that I'm complaining. I've read quite a few Fem!Shep/Garrus fanfics. Most are good.

He reciprocates by saving my ass, too. I charge in like an idiot at a large group, manage to take a lot of them down with multiple novas and shotgun blasts, but then oh noes my shield is down and I'm just not quick enough to press the charge button to refill them- then Garrus pops the last guy in the head.

I always make sure to find a good place for him to sit and snipe those kinds of enemies.

ME1 lore was pretty much destroyed by the existence of the Catalyst. <_<
