So...which do you guys think is better to play? Adept, vanguard, or sentinel? As far as have biotics go.

Vanguard, hands down. They are lethal, can tear through groups of enemies with no problem at all.

In higher difficulties the vanguard is crap though. Adept is squishy, but the point is to annihilate the enemy before they annihilate you. Stasis alone usually clears one wave of enemies without any harm coming to you. As a vanguard charging in to them usually gets you killed.

Sentinel is lackluster imo.

Really? Charge+Nova got me through everything.

Sorry got caught reading another thread.

I'm actually playing a vanguard, and I'm stuck using reave from a distance most of the time because charging in just basically means insta gibbed by the ones you don't hit. On the other hand I've been playing adept on MP and basically with stasis you never have a problem. Could do gold challenges if the rest of the community had a brain to know what to do :P

Not saying vanguard can't work in higher difficulties, they have their role in MP, but in SP you're stuck behind cover most of the time, only charging in at the opportune moments. Those moments are glorious, but they're far and few inbetween.

I always wondered why Saren looked so different, I mean I noticed that mandibles vary on Turians but I have yet to see anyone else who looked like Saren. Did I miss something somewhere? I never got to finish ME1. :(

That's more "the antagonist must look different and cool!" than anything else.

I disagree. I'm playing thru ME3 on Insanity w/a Vanguard and it hasn't been too bad. The only thing I'm worried about is all the "lets throw 1 bazillion enemies at you" on Earth.

Really? Hmm, I'm only playing on hardcore (since the thought of Earth on Insanity makes me panic already) but the majority of the time, I can only let my charge loose when there's only 1-2 enemies left or when I desperately need a new barrier. Even simple troopers tear the barrier down faster than you can use a nova from what I've seen.

Or maybe I'm playing too safe, only died to turrets so far >.>

Saren had been augmented with Reaper tech (the hoses and such). I always thought part (or all) of his mandibles were missing but upon closer inspection it seems that part of his cheeks are gone. That and his horns/fringe seems to have been maimed, however that could just be his design but I think it has to do with the Reaper tech (hence the hood).

@Bluumberry: Ah. Interesting.

@RilantheFirebug: I found that battle kinda tedious. They just kept coming...so many Brutes... Banshees in general freak me out. I find them terrifying.

No problem.

I see your point, even if I disagree. Then again I spend the entire game charging, novaing, running like hell before I get killed... and charging again.

It's pretty effective. :P

Hehe that's what I do in MP if I play a vanguard. In SP there's usually no where to run.

I dunno, I like charging in and novaing their ass like the next person, but playing more tactically this round has been even more fun.

It must be. I like berserking around. I don't know how to play tactical.

I don't have a tactical bone in my body :D My friend is often yelling at me for rushing in when we play games together. Trying to change my wily ways!

Last night I had just lost to Kai Leng and Thessia and I loved how multiple people tried to cheer Shepard up. Garrus was my favorite of course and I imagine he dragged her to the shuttle bay to spar with her and yes I mean actual fighting, words weren't enough for my Shep. Tali was sweet and I love Anderson's pep talk. Felt bad for Joker and EDI though.

saren... hmm... just how much was he correct about?

ME1 lore was pretty much destroyed by the existence of the Catalyst. <_<

Catalyst part/bits after shep trying to reach console I see as hallucination anyhow.... not real. =] Reapers do that can cause hallucinations. They (reapers) want Shep to believe he/she won when really...

I don't see how shep could get up there when she was having trouble standing doing such to reach console buttons...

Reaper indoctrination hallucination makes more sense to me for now. :)

Agreed.

I still think pulling off a "it was all a dream" kind of ending is sad, though. But hope is returning. Bioware is really listening to us. I trust them now.

I still find it strange the people who wrote the story don't reailse when they nullify a previous game's whole plot.

Well, to be fair I'm not ashamed to charge in and then run the hell back out. It also depends on the enemy. If it is a group of husks, for example, I can charge in and use Nova or the melee attack if they get to close while using an SMG. This also works for small (3 tops) groups of Cannibals. In terms of Mauraders and Banshees, Tali and Garrus (or Garrus and Liara) is my dream team and so overload, combat drone, energy drain, and singularity work wonders to get enemies unshielded, unarmored, and distracted. I charge in and do point blank shotgun shots from the Claymore. :wizard: As for Brutes.... charge, hit, run like hell, recharge, repeat.

Very true.

But they're collecting feedback right now. I assume they are planning to do something to rectify this whole mess. Maybe I'm too trusting, but I have hope. :)

Although skeptical about the whole fiasco, I am pleased to see their at least making some noise about the endings.

Its crazy when you think about how commander shepard, who has been through such hell, sacrificed so much, and witnessed so many incredible horrors through all these years... would come face to face not just with a reaper, but the underlying intelligence of all reapers, their very core, responsible for all the bloodshed and mayhem you've been through and respond simply with:

"Well hey there little guy, what can i help you with today?"
"you want me to do what now? sure thing little buddy"

MADDENING
*edit* ive been needing to get that out it seems

I really want to be like: *runs to Garrus* "BABY IT'S OKAY I-" *falls into plothole*

Also, I think it's amusing how I talk to my screen calling Garrus baby when I revolted the idea of calling my ex that XD; There must be a name for people like me somewhere.

That's pretty much what happened in my living room after the game.

I can't imbed images for some reason  myself, keeps saying *image removed*<_<

Finally saw the Garrus and Tali vid, the mandible comment is adorable, also when his voice goes all husky.

Shep/Garrus romance scenes still win.
