Never romanced Garrus in any ME game... but chiming in cus' of the awesome bromance XD

I seriously would take him on every single mission, even leaving out my LI Tali. Always trustworthy, getting your back, snippy. You had Ashley doubting you and being prissy, but this Turian never wavered.

Garrus is my manShep's epic bro.  He and Garrus were sniper buddies :D

Oy, when does he say that? I ran around tryin to catch every snippet of dialogue. But one can wish, right... right? T_T

It's the last banter between him and James.

I got it right before I started the Quarian/Geth story arc. I had finished everything in the game up to this point, and they were on the crew deck just talking.

Okay, thanks. I just assumed they had nothing new to say, as they were hanging out in the mess hall for quite a while (3 missions?)
Atleast some incentive for a new playthrough... someday.

As a long term lurker I just wanted to say that Garrus was always one of my favourite characters in Mass Effect.

But now with ME3 he has simply become my absolute favourite. And as I can now only think of romancing Garrus my other ME2 playthroughs are going to grow lonely on my hard drive or I will delete them eventually. He is such an outstanding character.

As for the endings: I was prepared for them by the spoilers in the forum and glad that I knew. But it wasn't so bad because after the beam it was so sureal that I instantly had the impression that it was not quite real. Maybe that was not intended by Bioware but it seemed really like a dream/hallucination (no indoctrination). For me Shepard is still alive in the destroy ending (even if I did not get that stupid scene because I don't play multiplayer) and what happened to the Normandy just a kind of dream (or strange part of the story being told by stargazer). At least it bewares me of being depressed.

So - concerning all the space magic in the game I think the quite open interpretation of the last scenes in our favour is possible. Doesn't even mean that all synthetics are destroyed - what is being told must not be true....

Welcome!

Yeah, same about the endings. It felt so... strange, and surreal. I admit I was crying tears of rage though. I felt betrayed. Especially when Garrus stepped out of the Normandy looking totally fine when he was begging Shep to come back alive like... thirty minutes earlier.

DID.NOT.HAPPEN!!!

In one of my headcannons, the whole "ending" was a dream. Shep got knocked unconscious and the whole ending was just a very BAD dream.
Then she wakes up, kicks some ass and saves the galaxy.

Of course they didn't. I mean, look at the plotholes. There's no way BW can expect us to take those endings seriously.

So...how many babies are your Sheps having with Garrus? I originally envisioned my Shep adopting a horde of orphans, but I think two is plenty. A turian boy and a human girl. I think her son's gonna be a doctor, and her daughter's gonna be a badass weapons engineer (basically Q for the Spectres).

Exactly the same. Turian boy, human girl (named Chell... haven't decided for the boy). No idea what they'll do in the future though.
I always thought that Garrus said the "adopting krogan" bit as a joke. I mean, if you're gonna adopt a baby, it's probably safer to stick to your own species. xD

Maybe the boy can be Gordon :P

I think adopting krogan might be a bit of a problem considering their very long lifespan.  My Shep and Garrus's kids are Cyrus (boy) and Kira (girl).

Wheatley?  lol. :D   j/k ...

ya know. maybe its just cause i hate kids...  but i can't see my shepard having kids.   Though I think Garrus would make a fantastic father. I see them being too adventurous. I think if they had a kid they'd adopt like a 6 or 7 year old. maybe a turian boy.... i see them with fairly bad ass kids.   seriously.

LOL.  Garrus gets the better of my FemShep frequently because she's just so damned bad at feelings, so it was nice to have her one-up him for a change.  Yay for plot bunnies.

OK so I was replaying my Tanith (Sole-Survivor Colonist) last night, I have at least 85% galactic readiness from multiplayer. Last thing I did before I shut down for the night was Garrus' date. I didn't do the Interrupt this time, so I got "You grab the girl and kiss her like you mean it", "I can do that" and I didn't hear this on youtube or my previous PT, but right before the kiss, Tanith says "And rather well."
My jaw dropped, did I miss this before or is this exclusive to the non-interrupt way? I must have missed it but I just want to make sure, because I thought it was perfect.

Damn needing sleep. Just read the past couple pages. Florence + the Machine has so many songs that fit my Shep. I always thought Rabbit Heart fit well for ME2 with the Illusive Man being his manipulative self and whatnot. Anyone else feel that way? Btw I love everyones Sheps, it's always fun to see how different everyones Sheps turn out. What they find beautiful or fitting.

Late to the party and all but here's my Shep. ;^^

That line of Shep's only happens if you don't take the interrupt.  I've decided I like that better.  The *look* in Garrus's eyes before he kisses her is absolutely incredible.

I honestly don't have much of a problem with the endings -

Provided the Indoctrination Theory is true.

Otherwise, the last minute of the Normandy/Shepard scene(I chose Destroy in my playthrough) makes zero sense.
But all the other stuff, like having the relays go kaboom? Destroying the geth? That, I can live with as an ending.

So if Indoctrination doesn't turn out to be true, as much as I would have loved to have a ride off into the sunset, my headcannon will just lop off that last minute of footage.

*crosses fingers on Indoc theory, is a hopeless optimist*

Yea the laugh, the explanation and the look on his face is priceless.

Granted, the grin from the interrupt also looks adorable... but I like the non-interrupted version as well. :D

Am I the only one who likes taking the interrupt?  His stupid grin right before he kisses you is absolute win.
Plus, the look.

Thank you, for clearing that up. I won't be able to take the interrupt anymore.  As much as I hate the last 10 minutes of the game, they did Garrus to perfection with a "purr"<3.

Well, he does give you the intense bedroom eyes of win if you take the interrupt too; I think it's right before he dipkisses Shep.  But interrupted or not, RAWR.  I actually blushed the first time I saw that scene.  I thought he was going to take her clothes off then and there ^_^
