You know what guys? Even if BW doesn't give us the endings we want, I've seen some pretty motivated people on BSN. I'm absolutely certain modders will be able to give us the happy ending we deserve.

With turian babies.

While creating the cutscene part of the ending is definitely possible, and something I'm trying to do, actually getting it in the game is a whole different story. I don't think it is possible since as far as I know we can't actually edit the entire code with which the game is based on just little bits like the Coalesced file. Then again I'm not a programmer, some of the modding masterminds on here may be able to get it to work.

I'm sorry. Didn't think of that. There's no way to mod a PS3/XBox game at all? (yep, I'm a noob)
But hey, I trust Bioware. They're collecting feedback. I don't think that's for no reason. I doubt it's solely for damage control.

PS3 and Xbox 360 can be modded, but it usually requires voiding your warranty since the system needs to be fiddled with pretty invasively.

Also, PC folks, how do I take screenies for ME3?

I'm using Fraps, personally.

At this point I should get all evil and state that true gamers only play on pc, but noooo, modding definitely is not a solution, seeing that consoles are fairly popular platforms (not sure if there are statistics on this...?)

Have to say that it's a safety precaution to have more than one platform (we've got pc, ps3 and Wii) so that one's significant other can be given something else to think about while one takes over the pc and flies away to Garrusland ;)

We have a gaming desktop, two laptops, a Wii, a SNES, an N64, and a PS3   And yet it was my boyfriend's PC I had to hijack for ME3.  It's ok, he was busy playing Skyward Sword.

Skipping back a bit...

My main Shepard is a earth born so I would love to have a mission where she could reflect the past of growing up on the streets (with Garrus tagging along and giving hugs). :D

Taking Garrus along on the Eden Prime mission had some of that (and maybe the Cerberus abuction mission? I'm forgetting where dialog triggers). Not a lot of details, but Shepard was obviously stuck on and upset about the idea of attacking someone's home. She didn't have one growing up, they did, and it should be beautiful and a sanctuary and so on. Garrus tried reassuring her a few times. I'm not sure how much of that is common to all Sheps, but my Earthborn one did comment about her home city being hard and dirty and Eden Prime being beautiful and deserving better.

I hadn't thought about it much before, but the idea that Shep is fiercely protective of anyone's home works for me. And reinforces her protectiveness about the Normandy. It's hers.

I'm actually working on this right now as well. It's a fairly simple process; no coding involved. It's a just a mere clip swap with the ones already implemented: Joker, Anderson, Liara (there's already a mod for Miranda). So far, no crashes! A small kink with the end of the cutscene, but it's looking good.

I chose two clips: meeting Garrus in ME1 (dat bow) and "Never." I'll get them both up here as soon as I iron out the minor issues.

I've been wondering: what is the height difference between Garrus and Shepard? The game doesn't really reflect well the height difference between races except in some cut-scenes.

I've actually been wondering that myself. A lot of times I've noticed Garrus stands with a knee bent majority of the time, as does Shepard, but I grabbed this during a mission. I checked he is standing 100% upright. No slouching, no weight mainly on one leg... and Shepard was standing up straight too. So I'd say he's at least a head taller than her.

Fun fact! One of Garrus's armor options, the black and yellow one, has the archangel symbol on it. I got weirdly excited when I noticed lol

An awful lot of Finns here, so no danger in adding to the number ;) Another Garrus-fan (or rather FemShepxGarrus -fan) reporting in. Just gathered enough courage to come out of hiding, thanks to the Hold the line -attitude, mostly. Been a fan since '08, and belong to those who diss all romances in ME1 cos the turian's not available - yet.

So here is another Finn! :)
And this Finn wants a new ending for ME3...

And here I thought I was the only Finn Oo I don't have time to visit the forum for a while and you guys pop up! <3

Ooo I never noticed! I always had Garrus wear his default amor. I also in very late in the game noticed that the armors had some bonuses in them.

Pic snipped.

Nice picture! The height difference has always bothered me somewhat because Mass Effect Wiki clearly states that turians are taller than humans but it's difficult to see in the game. Also, salarians are taller. :) Not that this is crucial to the story but it would be nice to actually see it. :D

I didn't notice the dialog. O_o I really have to play that part again (after the ending is fixed :P). I agree that Shepard is protective of the Normandy. It's indeed her ship.

I will love you forever for this. It won't really fix the endings, but at least I can see Garrus' pretty face like we should have been able to. ;_;
