I can't wait until ME2.  My Shep is still figuring out the whole "friendship" thing.  She has trouble with feelings. :P

And hey, at least the Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition is coming out.  I'd like to get a version of BG I can install on my machine without having to mod it out like hell.

So does mine. She's considering dating Jacob to let off some stress, since she's so confused about her feelings for Garrus. She'll come around, of course.

I can't wait to play BG I again. :crying: It's going be a glorious day... unless they screw up.

Ha. Just rediscovered one moment in ME1 where I wish I could smack Garrus upside the head and tell him to stop being such a prat - elevator banter where he asks Tali if "her people are properly contrite for their creation of the Geth."

It sounds sooooooo high handed. I had the termporary urge to make him eat his fringe for being such a d**k.

*Whoops quoted the wrong thing*

Just did it (where you fail at convincing the VS to stand down and don't do the renegade interrupt so Garrus shoots them)  and... the dialogue isn't any different if Garrus is you LI ... and G-bear is just really bummed out  over it :? Poor guy.

I'm a bit dissapointed since I think there was some potential there for some interesting dialogue like:

"He pointed a gun at you; of course I shot him!"

Well.. *Sigh* Time to redo the mission and talk Alenko out of being an idiot since it depresses me to see Garrus being all mopey and whatnot about shooting him.

... Only for your peace of mind Garrus would I actually replay a mission to save Kaidan  <_<

LOL.  I've replayed so many of Garrus's convos to get them just right.

I also must be a sucker for punishment considering how many times I've played his goodbye scene in ME3 :crying:

He has a few moments like that in ME1. His banters with Wrex and Kaidan make him appear quite naive and even stuck up. But he evolves.

Besides, My Shep is worse, so I don't mind him being stupid at times. :P

I just started up a NG on ME2, I gotta say I really wish the new hair colors and eye colors could transfer to ME2. It's a bit disconcerting and disappointing. Wish Bioware could do that. D: I had to make Shep bald and put a visor over her eyes just to ease the difference for the two games. Well, at least I'll meet Garrus soon.

Uuuuugh.... restart mission just puts me in Bailey's office right before Thane dies... which means I need to reload my last save and cure the genophage all over again... maybe Kaidan will just have to stay dead this play-through...

*Looks at Garrus being all mopey by the memorial wall*

Ughhh... Okay okay... I'll fix it and make Alenko live... anything to put off the end of the game I guess...

Just got to Feros in ME1. I seriously hate this planet. It is long and boring and I just don't care. No wonder why it's not in the prologue comic on PS3 >.<

Can't wait to get to ME2. I do like ME1 but the clunky mechanics and meh plot planets are starting to get to me. At least I have team dextro running around snarking.

Aww, ME1's my favorite. The gameplay *is* painful, I admit. But the whole feeling of it is just fantastic. <3

That being said, I hate Feros too. :bandit:

This thread moves so fast when I'm sleeping!

I can't bring myself to play ME3 at all untill new DLC is released with an actual proper endings! I'll just play ME1 and 2 and probably Skyrim.
Also I think Garrus is adorable in ME1 where he really is so uptight and a bit of stuck up. After all with the stick in his butt.

Oh and I Feros so much. Got this weird bug where my squadmates stop moving without me manually pointing where to go. This happens everytime when doing the little sidequests for the colony.

I must be odd. I like Feros. It's hard to go from ME2 and ME3 to ME1 again. The gameplay is so different from the other two games.

Me too. <3

I actually want to hug him all the time, he's just adorable, especially because he's naive and uptight. Like, when he wants to thank you from the end, and you can act like a total b*tch and say "I don't have time for this", he says in a confused way "Oh. See you later Commander" or something like that.. I'm all like "WAIT YOU'RE TOO CUTE I'LL LISTEN TO YOU!"

I've had a few facepalmy moments with him in ME1.  Like where he's talking to Wrex about the krogan.  Garr-bear, you idiot :pinched:

Little off topic but are you guys still playing ME3 despite the ending buisness? I decided to hold off my single playthroughs untill a proper answer is given so I'm finally doing the multiplayer. Haven't unlocked any turians yet but that's my goal.

I have tried playing SP again but then I remember the ending and... Just can't muster the energy to do it. So, I've been doing MP instead (on PC). :) If anyone wants to play I'm Sinilin at Origin. ^^

Lol. The moment I saw him in ME1 I thought "that boy will be mine!" but I'm creepy like that.

Or when he talks to Kaidan. "Humans don't seem to understand the necessity of sacrifice, Lieutenant."

If he does still remember those words by ME3, I'm sure he'll look back on that and sadface.  The ME3 war took everything from my Shep except her love for Garrus.  By the Cerberus base, it was literally the only thing sustaining her.

Of course he would. He apologizes to Tali, after all. He evolves a great deal.
And yep, my Shep's the same.

So, I thought I'd replayed all of the romance scenes to choose all of the dialogues (except for the rejection ones, obviously), then found out just now I had missed the renegade one at the beginning of the Citadel date and was greeted with the delightful, hilarious surprise of Garrus mimicking a hanar. Awesome. :D

I'm actually replaying ME3 again. I mean yea, the endings broke my heart, but the game itself is amazing. I'm even really enjoying the multiplayer. As long as I stick my head in the sand and plug my ears when it gets to the ending, I'm still having a great time with ME3. I'll start a from the top playthrough afterward. Hopefully by the end of all that we'll have something to stick on to the ending to make me feel better :).

The hanar poetry part was indeed hilarious. Normally I tend to use paragon answers (sort of a reflex, I suppose), but during this particular dialogue, all possible answers are great. With the obvious exception of "breaking up", of course.

Nice to see that there are other Baldur's Gate fans around. As I was not able to get my hands on the original version of BG II (regarding language): Is it true that Mazzy's VA is the same as Shepard's? The German version of the game is okay, it just made playing Knights of the Old Republic a little bit difficult. Imagine Bastila - speaking with the voice of "little sister" Imoen. Let's just say that it made it hard to take her seriously when she appeared at the temple near the end, all dark and evil, but sounding like "Minsc, I want to have a hamster"... I suppose it is different in any English version of the game.

Regarding ME3: I am also replaying the game, since I absolutely refuse to let 10 minutes of game time (okay, perhaps 20 minutes) ruin a wonderful game. I suppose quitting the game in London and imagining another ending is not the ideal solution, but for the moment, it works for me. Still hoping that the end of ME3 is changed, of course. By the way, that is something I like in Oblivion / Skyrim. Don't like the ending? Just grab the Construction Set / Creation Kit and change it. When I was done with Oblivion, I had probably spend more time modding than actually playing, but - it was totally worth it. If somebody knows any ME3 mod for a better ending (like replacing the Normandy crash with text boxes in Baldur's Gate II or Dragon Age epilogue style...), I'd be very grateful for a link.

That last scene with Anderson is pretty incredible...
