God I think it'd kill me watching my Shep die in Garrus' arms. It's bad enough saying goodbye. Watching Garrus realise he's going to be well and truly separated from Shep forever? I may never stop crying inside haha >_>
And the current endings didn't already do that?

I distinctly remember feeling both empty and flabbergaspered. And that was after the credits started rolling. At the actual decision I was like "This is a trick isn't it? This can't be happening!"
Frankly I'm at the point now where I don't think anything Bioware might do to fix this would ever make it right.

My feelings exactly.
Wasn't it because of the leaked script that Bioware took this direction? What did the script even say about the ending?

I was completely speechless when the ending credits started to roll. Then it turned into a disbelief because I just couldn't fathom that this was the actual ending (not that I would call it an ending). Next phase was rage... Now I'm just sad and downhearted. :/ I don't even dare to hope that BW will do something about it. Everything that happens after the beam doesn't exist in my mind. Denial is a wonderful thing. ^^

A good-looking male Shep!
I've tried to make my own male Shepard but they always end up looking very weird.

I was here when the endings were leaked through the Space Editions. Absolute HEARTBREAK. We were REALLY grasping at straws back then.Bluumberry wrote...

When I actually saw the endings for myself on my playthrough, it was like someone had twisted the knife in my heart and poured salt all over my wound.

Well, an extremely detailed version of the script got out, that involved Anderson and Shepard's LI meeting Shepard outside of the Guardian's Ruins (If Shepard survived). Anderson briefed Shepard on casualities, aftermath, the relays, the reapers, technology, Sword and Hammer, etc. while Shepard and their LI bonded and cuddled basically.
This was back in November though.
And when the second script leak happened, the script was so vague over the endings, NOBODY could tell that the choices of Merge, Destroy and Control would result in this. We actually all theorised that Shepard could survive in all three.

Screw the fact that some people had read it, it was their problem for ruining it for themselves.

Imperator, he is a beautiful man. *swoon*
The thing that got me the most about the ending was the idea of one of them living and the other not, that was unbearable. If they had both died, or both lived, OK. I mean, both dying was not ideal, but I could have accepted it. I couldn't accept the idea they'd be separated and couldn't be reunited. I was in bits! I am still firmly in denial.
ETA: The original, leaked, ending is pretty much what I wanted! Damn them. Damn it all!

A few days ago however, someone on another forum released a second detailed ending script.
EDIT: http://social.biowar...index/9888023/1
It's best if you just read from the source. This could just be a 'fan made' ending for all I know.
But when you consider this, plus the fact there are SEVERAL cut audio dialogues still in the games files, it leaves much to question...

If one of them has to die, then I would have liked it to be both. Like the leacked ending with Anderson where they talk about shep making a good mother/father. That would be perfect for an unromanced Shep or a Shep whose LI isnt a squaddy (tho at the end all LI's should have been allowed as squaddy).
For Shep and Garrus they could talk about the name their children would have had and Shep could tell Garrus that he was always there and that she could always trust him, specially when he said non of them would ever be alone. They would just be in the arms of one an other and their eyes would close slowly.
Even the most sad event can be well done and give some closure, if you write them to hit the right spot. I wish the one writer who did Mordin's death would have written then endings too.

That I would have gone along with. A bit cliché maybe, but it's just beautiful.

Then again, theres a reason why those types of ending are used so often. They kinda deliver the type of emotion needed.
Godchild making you enact a galaxy genocide was far from cliché ... on the other hand <_<

Here's a couple of pics of Primarch Victus. I have to say, that is one handsome Turian.
I find his son good looking also (when he jumps down from a ledge and used his hands to touch ground... quite feline). Not as mature and noble as his father, but the looks are there.

If anyone had to take Garrus away from Weekes, I'm glad it was Dombrow.

Well, to be fair the younger Victus, he IS younger. But all things are better with age, I assume Turians are the same.
I hope he had a brother... if not, I hope the Primarch is now single.
...I'm a horrible person.

I'm glad you all asked, this fine person is actually John Dombrow. Not only did he write Garrus for ME3 and the Genophage arc, he also wrote the DLC Overlord, which has to be my FAVOURITE DLC of all time for simply being so emotionally compelling.
