I'm playing ME2 right now and yeah...Miranda's ass gets more screen time than Shepard. What was awkward was my mom walked in right at one of those moments and she gave me such a look. I tried to explain it's not my fault guys play this game. D:

My mom doesn't really like that I play video games either. ._.

Darn it, I can't play ME3. I just can't.

... maybe if I start ME1 again an ending DLC will be released by the time I get back to ME3? :crying:

All right, will stop whining now.

I can still play it, I just completely deny the endings. I'm hoping for the indoctrination theory, if it is true then I will be a little sad that the whole Anderson speech was all in her head. Other than that they need to work the theory.

This is doubly brilliant- the cupcakes and your note.

Sorry, but how can you seriously make such claims when you got gratuitous ass-shots of Miranda during ME2 and 3, an over-sexualized Ashley for ME3 despite the fact she said she hated skirts in ME1, a photoshopped Tali from an image found on Google, a screen prompting you to buy DLC RIGHT AFTER THE CREDITS?

Haha, I was a bit suspect of that claim anyway, but when you put it like that.... yeah. Okay. That's fair.

Besides the game was MARKETED as entertainment for the masses. Not a high brow art show. At least, that's the impression I got.

Where are the gratuitous garrus ass-shots!?

... everywhere! Before and during her loyalty mission especially. In ME3 it's when you talk to her in the Spectres area.

They always seem to find an excuse to put her ass in the way. Irritates me even more since I like her as a character.

Edit: Heh, my mother hates the fact that I even play games. She definitely wouldn't understand.

But... but... it's not her fault the camera loves her ass! :crying:

Here's some turians...

Mine does that after extended play. Exit, reload? Computer restart? Mine always goes away if I exit (to the desktop) and reload.

all tried, its still like that.
I guess whats left to try is reinstall, but that one being Digital Download, kind of don't want to as Origin will likely want to reDownload it. our internet isnt that good, hmm... Already been waiting on Origin for my own ME3 which is Physical... I have disc. At leeast it should be done soon, if lucky tonight otherwise some more waiting...

I just found out how to use Gibb's editor!

The difference it can make is seriously astonishing!

The "there's no Shepard without Vakarian" line made me think of Me WithoutYou. I could've sworn I'd heard it by someone else, but this'll do.

Also, has anyone else noticed the C-Sec guy in the Refugee Docks who watches after the blonde girl? It's ador(k)able.

Yes! I always ran down to the refugee dock to advance their conversation between missions. I was sad when it started looping. I want to shake that turian's hand. Then I want him to adopt her! Hahaha.

I went back to ME1 to try and recapture my feelings for the series pre-ME3 ending. It's sort of working. I discovered a minor cutscene on Eden Prime I had NEVER seen before despite multiple playthroughs. That blew my mind and made me wonder if I'd missed anything else. I'm still surprised by how much of a douche Garrus is in ME1 in the first section on the Citadel. I'd never actually had him on my team (nor Tali) until now. I got the "sacrifice" elevator banter between him and Kaidan last night. I actually covered my face with my hand and said "Omg Garrus STFUUUUUUUUU."

Also, R.I.P. Emily Wong :crying:

He really can be. With almost every squadmate. The most blatant examples, however, are Tali and Wrex.

Is it bad I kinda ship these two? It's always nice seeing greta human/turian interaction.

Yeah the Wrex elevator scenes are face-palm worthy. That is why the writing is so great, the way his character evolves.

Hey, I'm not accusing him or anything  my Shep was just as bad, and she was older.

Aw, Garrus has been a mainstay in my party since the beginning. I even would get all frustrated after talking to Kaidan or Liara and run over, thinking "Bah! Why can't I just romance Garrus instead?!?" Eh, foreshadowing.

I must be in the minority of female gamers.  Miranda's one of my favorite characters in Mass Effect.  I'd happily hurl Eva Core's chassis, Vega, and the VS off my ship if I could have her back as a squaddie in ME3 ^_^

Garrus is always incredibly polite and sweet to Liara as far as I can remember.  And he and Ash got along...well, as well as can be hoped for with Ash.

I love Miranda too. I thought she had an awesome personality. Plus, the Sanctuary mission. She blew my mind.

Which is why I said "almost" :D.
He does tell Ash he's surprised to see her on the front lines since many women in the Alliance would rather stay behind. Or something like that.

Miranda grew on me, I didn't like her in the vey beginning but once I hit her loyalty quest I warmed up to her. They did a great job with her ME3, she actually looked tired and weary. I did think she was a little harsh to Jack. I love all the characters save Jacob. Especially ME3 Jacob, the jerk. >_>

Anyone have a video of Garrus talking about platitudes?

...I had to look the word up.

Totally missed the intent of the conversation.

Apparently, turian education > nursing education.

I find that I liked Tali a lot more in the original game. I guess I got more use from her then, than in the other two games. More than that, I started finding it a lot harder to sympathize with the Quarians and the Krogan, in general.

Especially the Quarians. They had 300 years to go colonize a new world! Why didn't they?

Admittedly, Garrus was pretty naive in the first game.

And I liked Jacob, until I got into ME3.

Why is it everyone's on some "Oh yeah, those were good times Shepard, but I'm on some other s***..." kick?

This is why my renegade playthrough's been so fun. Javik and I can be homeboys.

I was sad for a minute when I had this thought, then I decided it works either way. I've played the extended Anderson ending speech enough times to make that the real one in my head, so on one hand you have a strong, good father figure telling your Shepard she'd be a great parent. On the indoctrination hand, that means that the strongest, best parts of Shepard have a longing to have a normal life and a family. Either way, warm fuzzies. ^_^
