Yeah, perhaps it's not that bad to let Shepard and most of the ME universe die at the end of the trilogy. To realy make it end when it's still a good a relatively new and fresh story you know. But still I would have liked it if Garrus and Tali was there with Shepard in the end like the two first games.
Sure, but why did it have to be done with so many plotholes? If my heart has to be broken, I'd like it to be broken in a classy way.
Like my Female Amell run on DA:O. Tears were shed. It was so beautifully sad. And awesome.
PLUS I CHOSE TO KILL HER.

I think it's safe to assume that Shepards of both genders prefer it dextro. At least if you listen to many of the cool and smart people in the Talimancer and Garrusmancer threads. On the other hand the film Fleet and Flottilla seems realy popular in the ME universe so even devoted dextromancers like myself can imagine that the two young tech geeks may have something in common.
My main femshep and maleshep however, have claimed dat dextro ass for themselves.
^This so much.
Two people having your back since ME1. With romances build upon a foundation of friendship and trust.

Having just completed my first (but not last) ME3 PT, I have to say, the Garrus-FemShep romance was done to perfection in the game...I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to say here, other than to say that I think it's clear those two were meant for each other
Well I guess I will be able to start coming back to my old home now that I've finished the game.

So when it gets down to the final battle, he's all about the things they'll do after the war. They'll go to and island, have kids- to me it felt so heartbreaking because he wants her to want to keep living, there is so much more left to do.

@re Garrus wanting babies: this is just how I read it, but I took the lines about adopting to have less to do with actual desire to be a parent (although I'm sure he does), but the hope that Shepard would consider the future and not be fatalistic. Throughout the romance they sort of have a back and forth theme of cheering one another up... But Shep gets this very strong undercurrent of just being tired.

In the Citadel breakup scene, Garrus mentions the oddness that would come up if they decided to have kids - I tend to think it's been on his mind since well before then, though he doesn't bring it up until the very end if you stay faithful to him.

Makes me wonder when exactly he aknowledges that he loves Shep. In his head, I mean. After they got separated between ME2 and 3 maybe? I don't see him loving her during ME2 - he may be in love, but to go as far as saying that he loves her...
What do you guys think?

Quick Garrus/Tali question because it bugs me that my favorite Turian on the Citadel would hook up with someone over amino acids... On my 1st playthrough I was in a relationship w/Garrus, but brought EDI to the Geth dreadnought. Great, we lived happily ever after, but never found out about that Turian/Human hybrid baby because of the Catalyst. Now, on my 2nd playthrough not romancing Garrus, I picked up Tali and there was this crazy line about some chocolates from Dr. Michel... What the hell did I miss? Was Garrus playing me the whole time with that clinic doctor and the silly Quarian? Tali seemed pretty emotional over those chocolates. I mean, sure he's hott, I'm sure ladies of all species are throwing themselves at him all the time, but does he offer Tali chocolate if you're in a relationship with him? I did a quick YouTube search, but was unable to find anything conclusive.
for the Shep/Garrus romance version.
Edit: I can't even make tags after for once getting a good amount of sleep...damnit I don't wanna go to work! /cries

I'd like to imagine he fell in love either during the time before Omega-4 relay or anytime after the suicide mission just pre-ME3. That could be before they separated or after. Personally I don't think it would take much for him to realise it, in my mind he's crazy about her

Previous playthrough:
Adept, Garrus, and Vega
Infiltrator, Garrus, and EDI
Also, I think he realizes how much he cares for Shepard during the six month separation. Garrus' personality is to play it safe; he won't actually admit to how he feels until he is sure how Shep feels. That first conversation on the Normandy made me think that he really came to terms how he felt about Shepard but like I said, Garrus wanted to be sure she possibly felt the same way. He seemed like he really missed her.
At least that is what I think.

In my headcanon for Garrus and Shep, he's had a bit of a thing for her since after Ilos, but put it aside. He really starts to fall for her in earnest in ME2, and realizes he loves her after the suicide mission. I'm pretty sure he doesn't say it until she does, though.
Maybe in that shuttle, after their shooting competition

In my playthrough of ME2, Garrus was in the final battle. He saw Shepard nearly not make the leap into the Normandy (though Tali was the one who caught her). He already lost her once - the thought of her dying again would push him to realize that he wants to be with her for the rest of his life, though I'm sure he still had some internal conflicts about it. After that encounter, he had six months to sort it out in his head and come back willing to to through hell to have it, though he's not certain if Shepard feels the same way.
So all I have to do is change the title of ghostfire.deviantart.com/art/Mass-Effect-After-the-Reaper-156785671 to "After the Reapers" to deny ME3's ending entirely.

Oh! Who else is totally bummed that we didn't get to see Garrus asking Joker for vids on human reunions?? Seriously BioWare, you passed up some comedic gold.
That's better left for the wonderful artists out there on DeviantArt and elsewhere. I'm sure somebody will come up with something amazing very soon.
