Not to change the subject, but has anyone noticed if Garrus’ LM from ME2 (saving/killing Sidonis) comes into play at any time in ME3? I swear I agonized over that decision for what seemed like forever, and would like to know if I missed where it gets mentioned?

A friend of mine found a deleted file that indicated that Sidonis died getting Solana and Garrus' father off Palaven.  Now, I can't confirm, since I'm on the 360.

I have to replay Meghan's game because of that, now.

I've heard (I can't confirm either) that you are supposed to get an email or hear something via Citadel news or some such. I never heard any mention of him anywhere in my game.

Close to the top. Here, have an Adrien Victus. <3

As for characters I don't like... I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't like Javik. I dunno...I'm with Liara on this one. I expected him to be this paragon of manliness of knowledge and culture but he is just so cold and acts so superior. I really can't stand that in people.

Well try to put yourself in his shoes, imagine going to sleep and waking up to find there were no more humans and cats, dogs, lizards, etc were sentient, wouldn't you be somewhat shocked/dismissive? After all dogs used to sniff each others buts.

I think you had the perfect reaction to Javik, Rilan. The writers made him vindicative and superior to annoy the paragons who would like to 'save' him and show the renegades that there aren't that impressive. If you went 'oh, hes a nice guy' then they probably had failed.

He isnt personaly enjoyable, but it makes a nice experience to have him around so you can hate him / admire his badassness, depending on where you stand.

On the other hand... Garrus! He is definitly acting 'experienced' in ME3 and still is a badass so its the best of the 2 without acting 'superior'. I guess its his humorus side that makes him more 'human'. sorta.

Oh, I totally agree about Javik.  I do want to know why on Earth or above Shepard would be offended at the reminder we lived in caves, though.  I mean... we had to start somewhere.

I loved Javik. He was the exact opposite of what I expected a Prothean to be. Plus, the trolling.

I do too! Plus I like his coloring. Our poor comrades didn't know what to say to him. I loved Vega making eggs and feeling awkward. The evil laugh Javik gave when he told Vega "The joke is on you human." was pure gold.

I had a great time watching Javik go as well. He wasnt likable but he certainly made me laugh more then a few. The mix of knowing so much and then acting like Grunt was priceless. Plus he seemed to like Garrus.

Am I btw the only who's unable to the play ME3 at all until an ending DLC is (hopefully) released? Honestly, I haven't touched the game since I finished it.

It just makes me too sad.:crying:

I'm making reasonably good progress through ME3.  Whenever it gets too sad I go and murder some biznatches in multiplayer, and I'm planning on stopping before the Catalyst push unless the endings are fixed.  I'm unfortunately good at compartmentalizing emotions, so I can set aside the suck until I actually get there.

I noticed he talked to Garrus a lot too. Mostly about war. Felt bad for poor EDI, I remember looking at the map to see who was where and seeing Javik's name in the AI core. Anyone else afraid he was going to unplug her?

Huh, looks like I missed out on some Javik dialogue in my first play through... I surprisingly liked Javik and I always wanted to hear him chat with the crew more, the few conversations I caught did make me giggle though.

But I don't remember him talking to Garrus even once. (maybe because Garrus spent most of his damned time in the rec room talking about his adventures, like a BAMF)

And hello! *Long time lurker, first time poster*:bandit:

Welcome! :) LOVE your avatar.
I don't recall him and Javik talking too much either... when do they have a banter? Do they even have a banter on the Normandy?

The yhave a banter over the com at some point with Garrus being in the calibration room, as per usual.

If I recall, Javik says something positive about Turians since they are a military race and then Garrus makes a tongue-in--cheek comment (is that the right english expression?) at the end.

The also hang to getether in the room opposite of the starboard room and talk together as well as with soem of the crew. Garrus explains the rachni and the Reaper to the crewman and Jaavik talks about how things were similar-but-diffrent in his cycle. Garrus and Javik seem to hang together just fine.

Edit: so that one time over the intercom and 2 times in the recreation room that I saw.
