LOL, I saw that Reddit topic. Most of those Garrus Vakarian facts actually came from an earlier incarnation of this thread, the archive is linked on the OP.Jackiedeex7 wrote...
Something funny I found over on Reddit:
"Garrus isn't romance-able in ME1 because you have to die before you can go to heaven."
Yeeeeees!

Yeah, see, I'm in the camp where having actual choices should be the main objective. The 'happy ending' (as happy as it could be considering how dark the rest of the game was, we're not talking the dreaded 'sunshine and rainbows') shouldn't be off the table. Neither should self-sacrifice.
But I'm getting off-topic. Seriously though, I don't want to meet Garrus 'up at the bar'. In my headcanon, the date is on the beach. He can still bring the wine.

Edit: TOP! HAVE A GARRUS!
I know I heard something like that while watching a Youtube video rant on the ending. "Mass Effect 3 ending and why we hate it" by jeremyjaunsMinasha wrote...

Same here. Don't remember who here wrote it, but someone imagined the ending like Garrus and Shep sitting on a beach, and then the camera pans and you see dead reapers sticking out of water, everything around them in ruins and rubble ofcourse. I could live with that

I support loads of choices as well.
And Im always happy to read about the beach, sunshine and babies ending you guys are having. But I just want to have my ending too .
For me all that matters is that they realized they wanted to have a life together. And if they die, its fighting to retake the galaxy.
They could have made some beautiful sacrifice ending. Garrus and Shepard heading together into the synthesis beam would have been nice. Or busting out the destroy ending and watching things crumble ( and ultimatly surviving, for those who want it, of course).

I don't mind the sacrifice ending realy. Shepards story needs to end in a grandiose and definite way. But it would have been better for my dextromanciing main Shepards to end the game with their dextro love and bro like the two first games.outmane wrote...

I dunnoooo. Ever since reginaprimata put out that comic, I'm pretty happy to look at that and say to myself "I can live with that." Haha. That's a shirtless Garrus I can get behind. Or, y'know. On top of. *tiptoes off, whistling innocuously*

I'm curious about something here fellas. Did any of you kill off the Quarians? According to the leaked script, if the Quarians were wiped out, Garrus's family will be killed as the Turians expected the Quarians to help evacuate their civilians.
So to those who did kill off the Quarians in their playthrough, did it alter the fate of Garrus's family?
It's amazing!CrazyIvan93 wrote...
