I think shepard and garrus should adopt a baby turian when things settle down <3

Hope his/her last name won't be Shepard...

:sick:That would indeed suck.

Vakarian would be much better:wizard:

It should be a double-barrelled name EG. Shepard-Vakarian

OMG I know that was the most irritating thing about the ending of ME2 .... all of a sudden we're back into the old conversation? and at least most of the crew had something to say bout the SM. Garrus didn't even get that.

and we have a Skype Group! if you want to join us, pm me or Arcana or Hyrule or leonia and one of us will add you! There's also the LiveStream for Palaven. we have so many ways of talking turian.

lol this, that's exactly the thing that bothers me the most about ME2...I would have wanted something like, 'Where do we go from here?' or something like that. :blush:

about this...
you know when Garrus says "Don't worry, I haven't forgotten what we talked about."
I often wonder if maybe they didn't "go all the way". Maybe Garrus was all like,
"if we're going to do this I want to do it right and take you out to dinner first" or something gentlemanly like that :lol:

Even though they were staring death in the face maybe Garrus just wasn't comfortable rushing things. He did seem really set on things "going right". So maybe they made out a little and then cuddled and talked, and that whole "don't worry" line after the mission was him reassuring Shep that the promise of dinner and serious lovin' (if they survived the mission) wasn't a cop-out.
I don't know, just one possible explanation :wizard:

 @Platform, hmm...maybe, it would make sense, but I personally don't think so.
I guess we'll just have to wait for ME3  to find out.  =]

But damn, what did he mean when he said that?!?! I dwell on that line so much :lol:
I need more ideas for what it could mean...
ooooo, maybe she asked him to move into her cabin! :o

I pieced together a video for this awesome song by Hammerfall, that clearly forsaw Garrus' creation, and wrote a kickass song about him!

That'd be awesome. ^_^

But I don't think she asked him to live w her in her cabin. But don't worry, she probably will in ME3. ;)

And then you have that line that Liara says in LOTSB, about Garrus calibrating more than the Normandy's guns which implies that there was some bow-chika-wow-wow going on. I really do hope for a lot of resolution in ME3. Is it so bad to want my "happily ever after" with Garrus?

Quoting myself from the other thread, these are my feelings about the L word:

I don't want to hear those words in that way. I'd prefer them to be cool, maybe in Sheps quarters while he's scratching his head with that adorkable face and saying:

- Shepard, hmmm... you know, you know I...
- Me too, Garrus.

She kisses his forehead and they leave the room.

Y'know Bolboreta, I do like that. That could be cute. As much as I would love to hear him use the "L" word, I admit it might be a little unnatural for him to use those words. Though who we think he is around people he loves could be different when/if we get to see him around his family. He might behave completely different around his mother/sister/father. That could be interesting to see.

Can we only talk about spoiler related conversations in here and use the other thread for non-spoiler conversations?

Warning to new ppl about my posts: I work often in the days and when i come back to the threads - theres numerous pgs added so I read through them fully. I make multi-quoting posts often because ppl bring up good points i like to comment onXP [im a big talker when it comes to turian stuff]. Ppl at the Calibrations thread have grown used to me doing this, so bear with me. lol.

**** yes! Garrus thread always had the nicest and coolest people around! I love you all ;).. back to lurking ....

Heh. Ya know whats funny - We [as in the Garrus/Turian Clan] get this A LOT XD We welcome everyone to our group. Everyones free to express opinions on different matters and we respect it.

Beware of constant fangirl moments though ;P

Obsydian wrote...
I.... constantly debate with meself over whether or not i want to see the 'L' word used. I dont think I do. or something like, "I lo...." and then something explodes or something. :D
there were a very large amount of wonderful scenarios posted in the other thread that were plausable.
this is the one that I like best. (aside from anything involving explosions) its got just the right amount of Han and Leia without being cheesy. :D

Garrus: Shepard I .... *awkward pause*
Shepard: I know, Garrus. Me too.

And regarding Garrus as a father? He'd be an amazing father, once he's ready to settle down. He's already proven himself to be devoted and loyal to those he loves... He just needs to stop having rockets and tables thrown at his face.
(see what I did there, Skype group?)

As I keep hearing about the love thing - the more i really dont care HOW its done, as long as it happens XD I dont care if the word is said [for the love of arashu- do it right bioware. Dont do another Jacob moment where its forcedPosted Image], and i dont care of its not said. it can be implied. Really - as long as theres even one moment near the end where its shown that they really and truly care for each other, then im happy.

As for the Garrus being a father - i see if happening.......LAAAAATTTEEERRRRRR in his life. Garrus is stil going through his badass stage of blowing things up and headshoting ppl. Hes a man of action for now. I dont see him settling down right now. Its more likely he and Shep continue to kick a** in the galaxy together against the odds. BUT i do think he'll eventually setle down. He does have what it takes to be a father figure. And gosh Obsy - if he gets hit by some other object in the face....so help me bioware......*shakes fists*.........

*mumbles* .....stupid tables.......and them stupid "pencils" [skype group reference] lol
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think it was a "derp" moment on Bioware's part about the whole Garrus suddenly having amnesia after the suicide mission XD Theres alot of derp moments in the game, even concerning things that transfer over from me1 that didnt even happen. Mistakes happen. It just sucks that Garrus' "amnesia" was one of them.
I also wanted to do a bit of a shout-out to the newcomers to the thread, I know it seems like we move fast but we really try to read and respond to everything so don't be shy if you want to post something. Everyone is welcome here, so long as they are respectful of what the thread represents. We love meeting new people and though we have our moments of crazy fangurl (and fanboi!)-isms, serious discussions do take place and are encouraged.
Wish I had said this on the first page so others could see it more easily but better late than never! I've yet to meet any Garrus fans that I couldn't have respectful and fun conversations with and look forward to where the ME3 thread takes us.
That is something I really do love about the Garrus threads. Some of the other threads scare me to post in because I'm afraid I'm going to get flame'd or some other form of hostility (or getting called "poopy head" LOL). I do try to be as nice as I can on the threads, because I really want everyone to have a good time and just enjoy the company of individuals who share similar interests.
We've had ppl come to our calibratins thread claiming this too. I wont say names out of respect but some groups have lashed out at some of our own for stating some facts. We dont believe in such a manner. We welcome ppl with greetings and headbumps! *ritual headbump*
I think we as a Turian Clan kinda took our fandom to further steps with the Livestream and Skype group XD We enjoy each others company [even if its just virtually] so we continue even off the site. Whereas more inside jokes are constantly born lol. Youd be surprised how nuts we go over Garrus by just listening to the skype group XDDDD
I read this as part of the romance thread headline : Please discuss your favorite characters from ME 1 and ME2 and how they may return in ME3. Also use this forum to discuss the optional romances in ME3.
hmmmmmmm ideas anyone? ;P I, of course, have my own. [if only i cant find that darn post i made in the other threadPosted Image]
 I love you too, you wonderful poopy head :lol:  And a round of *headbumps* to go around!!
And I just looked up my skype name while at work.  It is "stacymaria" (very unoriginal I know, and it's also my email too stacymaria@gmail.com lol)
On a somewhat humerous note:  I wonder what will hit Garrus in the face in ME3?  First it was gunship, then Harkin (if you could call what he does to Harkin's nose/face as Garrus being hit in the face by Harkin), then table.  It almost seems that the trend is going down in severity Gunship-->Harkin's Face-->Shepard's Head-->Table-->"?".  Maybe something nice and unobtrusive like a feather, or a paperball? That still might knock him out :D
Ah the hair brushing.. as cool as that would be, not every Shepard has the same length of hair (and we don't yet know how long hair can be in ME3, just that there will be more options). Things like that are more "intimate" and full of affection than awkward kissing scenes, IMHO. Just little touches here or there will be enough to show that they are in a relationship without having to use any cheesy dialogue or spout the "l" word.
If ya'll are going to exchange real names/locations I'd advise taking it to PM, not trying to be rude, but personal information shouldn't be put out for general consumption on the interwebz.
