Also, did anyone else wish Tali gave Garrus and FemShep as much crap as Garrus gives Tali and ManShep?  There's a scene where they're seriously flirting, and Garrus basically tells them he loves them, but they need to get a freaking room   Somehow I think Tali never lets my Shep live it down, especially given how handsy she and Garrus are in ME3.

Apparently they butchered his character, he was supposed to be pretty cool in the books. But he's so lame in the game. The only good moment involving Kai Leng was his death. Although Shepard not noticing him approaching despite the panting and all, was pretty ridiculous.

I read the books, he was an overdesigned POS there too.  In my opinion, at least 

Cerberus were fantastic villains for me in ME3 up until Kai Leng turned up.  When the villain needs BioWare's designers to hold his hand because he's too much of a baby to obey the game mechanics, he becomes downright laughable.  I would find it funny if I wasn't so busy raging that the awful design of his segments.

I chose to believe that Shep was fully aware he was trying to sneak up on her and just didn't bother to react until he was in range for Renegade-interrupting to break that stupid sword. Having a squadmate (or just Shepard) shoot him before he got there would have made so much more sense though.

Now I'm curious about what happens if you don't take the interrupt.

Also, I may never understand why someone would decide to bring a sword to a gunfight. You don't look cool, Kai Leng. You look like you're going to get shot.

I wasn't impressed with Kai Leng, but the one thing I really hated was that he had a sword. Even in an age of omni-blades and biotics, he's still using a sword. And he's Asian, so of COURSE he has a katana! Bleh, such a stereotype.

As for noticing him coming up behind Shepard, EDI's even worse than Garrus. She doesn't even have traditional eyes, she's got like motion and heat sensors and stuff. Seriously, EDI??? Terrible robot if you can't even tell the guy is dead before you turn your back on him.

That goes for Garrus too though. His visor should have shown him lifesigns.

The same exact thing except instead of punching the sword you just grab his wrist or something. Everything else is the same. It's a pretty sorry excuse for an 'interrupt', IMO.

Not taking the interrupt shouldn't be an option. Shep just narrowly avoids the blade and proceeds to stab him.

When I do the interrupt, I imagine her knowing he's coming so she can shank his ass.

He just didn't look scary and badass enough. Then again he has to compete with that total badass Saren when it comes to ME villains. Every turian looks like he kan kick anyones ass.

I had femsheps for different romances but now I can only think of romancing Garrus in my playthroughs...
It is just amazing how real and evolved the relationship feels - especially the subtle change of dialog if you romance Garrus and how you can comfort each other.

Oh and I loved to see that Garrus got this beautiful new black/gold/blue casual outfit, it looks stunning! If only femshep had a nice outfit, I don't really like the dress they gave us but the N7-sweater is great .

Concerning the DLC: I have no great hopes regarding this... I fear that they will only show more directly how screwed up everything is. I may stay with the game without the DLC so it is easier to pretend it was a dream and to imagine my own fitting end. Sad but I see no other way.

I haven't see any confirmation that the VAs will return but some here mentioned it. Is it just wishful thinking or were there actually news about it? From the description it reads just like epilogue slides like in Dragon age origins and cinematic scenes (which gives no information about if there will be only music, a narrator or actually dialog with the VAs).

My biggest problem with Kai Leng was how eager he was to be your enemy. If it wasn't for that, I don't think it would have been a big deal.

His letter mocking you did spark some funny images though XD If he were more silent and calm and exuded confidence by his body language I think he could have been a bamf. He was way too arrogant and "Hah Hah I ruined your plan, WHATS UP"

So funny to come back to this thread and find you guys griping about Kai Leng. My sis has been playing ME3 all day (hooray for public holidays) and she just did the Citadel attack sequence. I had my own rant about Monsieur Leng and decided to see what Deviant Art had to say about him, found this, and absolutely lost it.
