know we always talk romance around here (nothing wrong with that) but
reading posts like this just make me smile. Garrus is such a central
caracter to ME and his relationship is fully rewarding for friendship.

know I saw a picture, cartoony though. but best example of it. If
anyone can find it I would be thankful, can't find it for some reason.
Thought I saved it but I didn't. Is Male Shep and Garrus bros, chilling
on the beach drinking some beer while the reapers half stick out of the
ocean in the horizon.

Damn bioware, all I know Casey hudson derserves a krogan hello headbutt if I ever meet him.

I’m firmly in the deviant category because the moment I saw my first turian, my Shep wanted to get some of that action. Guess you can call me turian sexual? 
 
And all during the events of ME, my Shep wanted Garrus in a baaaad way. (She had to settle for a Kaidan quickie before Ilos, thinking all the while of a certain badass sniper working on the Mako a deck down..).

So when I learned Garrus was going to be attainable in ME2, I was over come with fangirl-gasms  of PURE unadulterated JOY.

There is no Shepard without Vakarian.

I'm working on gathering my favorite Fanfics in one place so I can find them all! Because all these tabs are driving me crazy, and I don't want to bookmark all of them, that just gets confusing in the end.

Yep, that is basicaly what my Garrus fandom is based on.

I have finally gotten over my ME3 ending rage enough to restart my ManShep playthrough.  He and Garrus are such epic bros.  Renegon ManShep is utterly hilarious in his brotasticness.

Well, Thane and Kaidan are going to have to wait for their Shepards. Again.

What I like about the Garrus romance and why I probably wouldn't have liked it near as much in 1 is that it feels like an equals/best friends thing. I'm not sure I'd have enjoyed it as much if they hadn't grown to trust each other as bffs over 1 and most of 2 first. It also made the Garrus (and Tali) romances unique, since there's a slow buildup unless you were a terrible person and didn't recruit Garrus in 1.

Funny thing is. I have a big imagination. That allows me some leeway. I have passed me3. 4 times. Everytime I get to the beam... go to the control do the TIM part, then when Is tart getting beamed again, I turned to watch TV ( i have two tvs in ym room, so can watch TV and play at the same time).

Then I just phaze through the ending without paying attention. And then by the time is the end, I dont have to listen to idiot child and just go blow up the reapers with red option.

Maybe is because I am still in denial? I duno. I made up my own ending already. Where garrus and Javik were hospitalized. Made up that Javik has not only ability to sense memories but to .... speed recovery at the expense of his own body.

garrus and me are sitting in bandages and crutches over at the english channel with reapers sticking half way out of the water. I make jokes how he has had time to get used to his face looking like ****. We drink we laugh. Secondary mass relays are destroyed but under reconstruction. Primary relays are intact. Citadel never blew up.

Reaper parts are being towed by the geth to the sun. The only ones being kept are the actualy Mass Effect Core. Being that is just ezzo it can be researched, and their tentacle arms to gives us more inside into ferro fliud weaponry. Everything else regardless of its function is being thrown into the boiler.

Little cliff hanger though. Not all reapers were accounted for after the battle. Their hardware is accounted for, but some programs aren't. The Fringe geth the asari councilor mentioned that are geth bodies filled with reaper code. cannot be found by the true geth. .

So instead of retirement to live of the royalties, we are resting before heading for new job posting. Normandy is, after retrofit and rest to resume operations against the reapers and any fragments of their technology still around, destroy it and kill any that've come too close to them.

Oooh, I like this idea.  I mean, it's not as though after the Reapers are destroyed the war's completely over.  There are still the Reaper husks (not sure if they were destroyed by the Crucible), the inevitable terrorists and war profiteers, and a crapton of reconstruction to do.

I think my Shep will settle comfortably into retirement somewhere tropical after a few years, but in the immediate aftermath of the Reaper war, plenty of things still need shooting.

I took the idea from quantum shielding. The relays have it and anything hittimg them from the outside aside from a giant asteroid woldn't harm them. That with with what we know that some geth platforms were taken over by the reapers. Nothing is ever 100% sure. You can send a pulse of rainbow color idiocy throughout the universe. But I dont think it will penetrate dozens of miles underground in the event some reaper tech was stored that deep. we've seen a few places like that.

But regarding husks, no. The rainbow bullcrap wiped out any reaper hardware it could touch. So anythign they took over based on their hardware is fried. Hence why I liked the idea of the geth with reaper code.


To be honest I missed not fighting more geth. ME1 they were all over. ME2 there were some. But in ME3 is only in their home system. Where are the geth that reapers took over? Or if you destroyed the heretics. Where are the heretics that weren't rewritting and are still around?

Wait, how does EDI walk out of the Normandy?  I got the ending with destroy where Shep survives, and she was nowhere to be found

Same, they were my favorite race and I had Lexane defending them since Tali told her about their origins in ME1, but Destroy was the only way to go in the end, roleplaying-wise. I could accept that, to be honest, it's depressing but I like bittersweet endings.

But ya know, it'd be good if we had a little bit of sweet. Just a little bit. Like, no Normandy scene.

Yes, I believe depending on the variables (you brought her to Earth, have a high friendship with her), EDI can follow Joker out of the Normandy on Planet Plothole even if you pick Destroy.

It's just what I've been told. It could be wrong.
