Garrus one was great. A great man with talents beyond those his family or superiors are willing to admit. Yet his moral compass is his greatest foe. he is conflicted with the idea of doing good but at what cost.
As shep you have that wonderful choice to make someone a better person... or screw him up... like you are lol.
I remember the quote from Dr. heart twisted side quest:
Garrus: " in the end the bastards dies, so why even try to bring him alive"
Shep: "you can't control how others react, but you have control as to how you respond... in the end that's what matters"

He listened to everything she said and agreed on almost everything. I loved the mentor/student relationship they had in ME1. All the more so now that I know his character arc in the three games.

Very well said. Again, im not saying he was bad in ME 1, he was great, but as far as charm, ME 2 and 3 Garrus was better. But I absolutely love the interaction on his morality in 1.

I want to like her, she has a terrific character arc. I think my annoyance with her is solely because she steals the spotlight of other characters I was focusing on. Maybe by focusing on her, I'll end up appreciating her character and even liking her.
