Thank god Garrus and Shep can serve as an outlet for my biological clock's baby fever. My boyfriend should be thanking them

I feel your pain. I've had baby fever for three years now. My hubby finally said we are gonna start trying next year.

As badly as I want to Garrus, I can't go through with another playthrough untill I get my happy ending.

Mine too. Once he realized what I was drawing, my boyfriend started teasing me mercilessly (okay, only a little, but it's a sensitive subject). As a 30 year old, female, non-(entirely) casual gamer, I'm already in the minority everywhere I go.
As one who hasn't had children, but not by choice, having my in-game paramour tell me he wants babies... well, my reaction was something like this: youtu.be/-GHX8dvuFUQ

This just occurred to me but isn't Garrus the first LI in Bioware games to say that lets have some babies?
Nope. In Hordes of the Underdark Valen will ask your character if you have thought about marriage or children in the future of your relationship. "I would love a child. *Your* child." He says. Unfortunately, it was bugged and the only way to get that conversation is to download the fix from the NWN Vault. But he did ask.

Well in SWTOR, just about every LI will ask you about future/marriage/babies (natural or adopted)...but if you only count single player games, and you don't count Morrigan's "let's have a god baby" with male warden in da:o then maybe so =).

Haven't been able to post on here much due to work, but I have been lurking. Anyways, came on here as I was listening to Savage Garden last night, and when Crash and Burn came on, I had an epiphany - it is THE Shep and Garrus song, the one that sums up their relationship the most. At least,l for me, that is.
When you feel all alone
And the world has turned its back on you
Give me a moment please to tame your wild wild heart
I know you feel like the walls are closing in on you
It's hard to find relief and people can be so cold
When darkness is upon your door and you feel like you can't take anymore
Let me be the one you call
If you jump I'll break your fall
Lift you up and fly away with you into the night
If you need to fall apart
I can mend a broken heart
If you need to crash then crash and burn
You're not alone
When you feel all alone
And a loyal friend is hard to find
You're caught in a one way street
With the monsters in your head
When hopes and dreams are far away and
You feel like you can't face the day
Thoughts?

I will say I am relieved that shepard didn't automatically go "sure! I'd love some babies!" and that we were given a choice to respond to that. I believe you can also do that with Alistair when he brings up the heir business when you make him king (another reason why I love being a grey warden NO KIDS!). If the garrus romance pulled a liara on me I would have been annoyed but they didn't and I'm happy about it. In my game I interpreted garrus’s beach and baby talk as joke about a cliche future (considering how crazy their lives are). To make light of the situation. But it was his way of saying he wants a future with her if that makes sense. Garrus loves to make jokes about serious things so I took what he said to be another one of those examples. But that’s my shepard’s game

Would you be interested in DLC that expanded on the role of ME2 squad?
