Edit: Suddenly a wild TotP appears and ambushes me. Have a pretty female turian:

I used to be nervous too, but I got over it. Also that picture is awesome.

Yeah, I'm usualy not a fan of the bald turian female thing but in that picture it does work for some reason.

Brandon Keener pre-release interview.  Plus, Male and Female Shepard.

It was probably already posted in the thread while I was avoiding spoilers, but just in case...

Give it a go. You might surprise yourself. It took me about a paragraph to go from "Omg this is really weird I can't believe I'm reading this," to "Omg this is so hot and the internet is filled with it yessssss."

Is it just me or does poor Keener look kind of uncomfortable? He's splotchy and it looks like he's perspiring and trying to literally become one with his chair?

Alsooooo - any word on an update to Persephone Rising?

EDIT: Scratch that question just saw the A/N. Please oh please return to it someday. I love those girls. I really do.

A lot of behind-the-camera actors don't like public appearances.  :)

And we're still writing on Persephone Rising.  We just want to make sure all our ducks are in a row since everything from Virmire onward will most definitely be a little difficult to pull off.  And I'm so happy you're reading it!  The three-Shepard thing is a little too much AU for most people.

No, you are not alone on this. I usually avoid M-rated stuff, since it makes me uncomfortable, and if I have a good reason to read one, I skip the graphic parts. Possible reasons: Knowing and liking other, 'tamer' fics from the same author, seing the same fic on several "stories I like" pages from authors I like etc. Sometimes even an interesting AU scenario makes me take a look at a story, though I haven't dared to touch that Saren-Nihlus-Shepard one yet. Anybody around here who knows if there's an actual story inside, or if it is mainly a fade-to-black scene that has forgotton to fade to black?

Nice picture, by the way!

I guess that makes sense. Public appearances and rather less controlled than camera-and-set scenarios. Oh but he looks so nervous hahaha. I just want to pat him and tell him he's free to go home.

Glad to hear that about Persephone Rising. I love the three Shepard thing. It's more dynamic than just a single Shep and it works in ways I never would have thought possible. I'm just glad someone made it possible and did it well. When I first started reading it I thought "how the hell is this ever going to work?" But I was really impressed by how neatly you guys brought it all together. In hindsight I can only think to myself "as if more Shepard was ever going to be a bad thing."

@Seleya_LL: It's definitely written to be explicit, but not in an entirely gratuitous manner.  A lot of the characters' personalities and motivations are explored during "funtime" interactions, and they're quite heavily emotionally invested scenes. Without the loving you'd get a totally different story, but as it is, it's unapologetically, uh, full cream nookie, so to speak.

EDIT: Omgggg. That metaphor really did go somewhere terrible. I swear all I was thinking at the time was 'what is the opposite of "nookie-lite"?' *headdesk* I'm... going to go now. I'll be in the Main Battery.

Thank you for the information, Niostang.
Perhaps I'll give it a try, next time I feel either brave or stupid. And don't worry, if my nose starts bleeding, I am not going to blame you ;)
Have fun with the calibrations, so to speak :)

Hey all! I rarely post around here, and feel a bit like I am intruding on all of your conversations (sorry by the way!), but I thought I'd swing by with a little fic drop. I've produced a couple of Garrus ones lately and this seems like the place to mention them:

One with the Gun (Rated R (for language and violence); Garrus-centric fic (~1100 words); Just a snippet of his life on Omega. Also on Ao3.)

The Map of Her Skin (Rated T; Garrus/F!Shepard ficlet (500 words); VERY fluffy/sappy romance piece showing a moment of time between the two of them post-ME3. Also on Ao3.)

Cracked Faith (Chapter 4) (Rated R (References NON-CON events in the past); Garrus and F!Shep (plus others; ~7200 words); Follow up to my older story Broken Trust. I ask that you PLEASE heed the warnings on this one, as it is a rough piece that could be triggering for some. (Honestly, I hesitate to even post this here, because of the content. But I know some folks around these parts are following it, so I thought I would include it just in case they didn't know it had been updated.) Also on Ao3.)

I now return you to your regularly scheduled Love & Adoration thread :-)

I'm thinking of starting the trilogy over, this time with a femshep. For the sole purpose of romancing Garrus. I've never experienced that romance before.

You won't regret it

I think this is a very possible scenario for me.

So yeah I actually started a Femshep game, and so far.. I like her ALOT more than manshep. I wish I'd played as her from the start. She has really cool voice/mannerisms.

Yeah though I'm playing naturally with her, I'm for the most part picking renegade options(what can I say? Alot of people ****** me off), and man she sounds badass.

Oh I know! My canon shep was full paragon for ME1 and 2, and then I did a round of the demo as a renegade femshep and she just nailed it, so now my shep is paragade. Now I'm wondering if I should replay the other games this way...

Yes you should.  ME2 I think is her best work--although she's really good in ME3 too.  ME3 just doesn't have as much variety (what with all the cut scenes and practically indistinguishable paragon/renegade conversation differences).

Check out some ME2 Renegade shep

My Shepards tend to start Paragon and move more to Renegon as the series progresses.

I blame Garrus of course for making it look so sexy.

LOL, kind of the same here, though my Shep ended up at about 60% Paragon, 40% Renegade.  She blames Garrus for being a bad influence in ME3 after she groin-punched Han'Gerrel.  My Shep was so controlled and courteous in ME1; by ME3, she's mouthing off left and right with the best of them.

I only took 2 renegade interupts throughout the entire series.

1. ME2: The batarian engineer in Garrus' recruitment mission (he was working too hard).
2. ME3: Kai Leng's surprise butt secks LOL (figuratively of course)
