Pretty much this.  My Shepard's usually very set on not killing people unless absolutely necessary, but where Garrus is concerned, all of her usual rules pretty much go out the window.  She had an inkling it might be him as Archangel after talking to Garm.

I really did want to shoot the bastard.  There were too few punching interrupts in ME3, and I'm so glad you could groin-punch him.  The whole quarian/geth situation made my Shep absolutely livid; she was not bluffing in the slightest when she told the Fleet she'd stand and watch them die if they didn't stand down.

... is that the Renegade option during the Quarian/Geth conflict resolution on Rannoch?
Because if it is, I so should have picked it instead of the Paragon one.

Yep.  Shep basically says she's done saving their asses, they're a bunch of idiots, and she'll just stand and watch them burn if they don't end the war RIGHT NOW.

Considering that's exactly how I felt the whole goddamn time, I did a fistpump when Shep said that.  I've never picked the Paragon option; what does she say?

She basically says that the Geth don't want to fight the Quarians, and that all can be solved if they just accept that fact for a second. She ends up saying "Please. Keelah Se'lai." And has the biggest smile on her face when they stand down. It's pretty cute, but I should have picked the Renegade option with Lexane. It sounds so much more like her.

It's always fun watching Shepard shout.  Especially at the Admiralty Board

HAHA I just replayed the last Rannoch scene to see the Renegade option, and Garrus sent me a message on the datapad app telling me that it was a good thing I was the one who talked with the Reaper, as he would have simply shot it for fun.
