Lol. Well heavier armor=more protection for Garrus. But yeah, it does nothing for his..ahem...turian figure.

Femshep looks equally ridiculous in the N7 Defender armor.

He doesn't need armor, he's got shields out the ass. That Electronics skill made him damn near as sturdy as Wrex.

The Series 2 figures were on the Bioware store for preorder for a bit a few months back, but then they sold out/got taken down. So now they're finally shipping.

But it's the kind of tears I wanted to shed you know? Can you imagine the emotional impact  they could have ended the series with? It's the aftermath and you see some of shepard's body in the rubble, you see the N7 on the armour but not her face. Then the camera pans to her team mates looking for her in the distance.  Suddenly your LI spots her arm and from then on the only audio that plays is that sad score as they silently yell and run towards you. They reach her, pull the rubble off her body but as they pull her up they realize shepard's body is limp.  While they hold her , you see them saying something to her as they press their head onto hers....and just when  you think that all hope is gone...her eyes open.

A bit cliche perhaps but I'd only expect her eyes to open if you had a high  enough score or something.Otherwise you just see your team react to her death (which would also be emotionally moving) 
The point is I wanted to FEEL during the ending bioware , I expected to cry, to jump for joy, to actually give a damn about what was happening on screen.  I remember the first time I saw my warden's funeral, god my heart! I didn't feel empty (unlike a certain ending), I felt moved by it . To see that the characters I grew to love care that I died made it a good ending. It was an optional outcome as well. You know what someone just send Bioware a copy of origins with a "DO THIS" postit on it please.

The figure is awesome. Just wish I had the money to buy it before it gets sold out. And my bday is unfortunately always in January, christmas not really being any better option. /cry

Hello and welcome!

I also would've bawled if Shep had gotten an ending like the DA:O one.  (Not counting Awakening, of course.)  Though as it is, I was already an emotional wreck over Mordin, Legion, and Thane.

About that, I actually would have liked an option in which he could die... in ME3, that is. In a Virmire 2.0 kind of situation. The most heart-wrenching thing Bioware could do to me would have been to choose between Garrus and Tali.

I'm one  It's been weird...feeling ecstatic about garrus's romance while being let down by Thane's. My two most loved sheps romanced them respectively. I attempted a second playthrough with the thane shep  but his treatment made the game feel  even more empty and incomplete ...so I just stopped playing. Also I didn't know he would get killed by kai leng since Kirrahe died in my first game...so yeah that wasn't a nice surprise.

for some odd reason, i really really hate Thane. i used to love him lots but then i have this hte for him. Its like he did something terrible that cuased me to hate him. hehe. i also Hate Liara, but everyone else i adore But Garrus and Kaidan are my favourite LI

when that thing happened in ME3, in the medical place for Thane i wasn't sad maybe i even had a smile on my face as i didn't care that much for his character. But when i couldn't convince Kaidan to back down, and there was the renegade Button i Froze, then EDI killed him i was like 'Why you do that'. This character was in a romance with Shepard so that sadness soon ended. I am trying to get a playthrough for Garrus to shoot him jsut to see what he says

As a Thane girl myself, I could describe in detail the state you'd all be in.  It ain't fun.

Gotta love Garrus though - I'm female, and I have ears, so how can I not love him? He could read me the phone book, followed by the dictionary, and then the phone book again and I'd be captivated.

Finally managed to pull myself together and finish my ManShep playthrough, and saying goodbye to Garrus broke my heart. Especially when remembering his romance line in my previous PT.

Sounds a little strange to me, sorry. I don't wish death for the characters I like (well at least normally, depends on the situation; if it would spare them pain and a slow death then maybe). And Thane has his son and if romanced Shepard to live for. I don't mind his death if non romanced but as romanced they really should have found a way to prolong his life at least. There were hopes for it in the leaked script and in the dossier (lotsb dlc) about him (transplantation).

LIs should have plot protection - no cheating no death, at least if romanced. I had a Shepard for Thane but with the development in ME3 I was not eager to play her.... and as I was disappointed with the Kaidan romance in ME3 there is now only Garrus for me. And he is great. I am so happy with how he was written in ME3.

But it is sad that other LIs haven't got the same treatment. The problem is that there are so many LIs that Biowared could not handle it with the limited ressources. But even with lesser screen time there should be a happy end possible for each LI.

As far as I know Thane dies always, even if Kirrahe saves the councilor and even if you don't speak to him. And not speaking to your LI isn't really a good way to avoid the death even if this would help. How stupid is this? You have to ignore your LI to save him/her?

No, Thane and Jacob got definitely the worst treatment.
