For me personally, I like that she's fertile, but has to come to terms with the fact that she can't bear Garrus's child because of the physiological differences.
Forgive me...I just re-read a fic today where she had to deal with that heartache...

Here you go... I teared up, ymmv...

If you're of a mind, I highly recommend the prequel, "The Reason That I Live and Breathe" by the same author...some adult content, to be sure, but beautifully characterized and very romantic, IMO :)

I'm very cautious when it comes to adult content, but I'll give it a go, thanks :)

Hey bebeh, how you doin?

I'd like to think Shep was still fertile, but would opt for adoption. One turian, one human. Hurian babies? Bit too much of a stretch for me. I've have enough space magic to last a lifetime.

It is definitely adult, but she writes with a decidedly tender spin, and the Garrus she delineates melted my heart
Hope you like!

Yep, but when the deed is done well, it's nice to read. :P

You're not the only one tearing up. Now I'm sad, but that brilliantly resilient cocoon of happiness, relief, and possibility that I put Garrus and femShep in, in my head, is in some kind of overdrive.

Oh sure there are some....not so desireable stories out there, but they're usually easy to avoid as you usually see the intent in the first few lines.

Still noticing a lack of fem-turian. Mekens Diger sketch is truely amazing, deals with the "bald" look without destroying their look entirely. Wish they could make that canon already....

Read both fics and loved them, even if I didn't (and don't) picture my Shep's relationship with Garrus like that, intimacy included (at least at first). It's a lot more teasing and awkwardness for them. Especially since she's such a lousy flirter.
Thanks for the link. <3

replayed me2 just before collector base to change my choice with Illusive Man...

@human/turian hybrid/adoption discussion, well earlier I found something via google on dextro/levo amino acids & added it to my favorites as I got curious/interested in the stuff, I found its link in my history: http://creationsafar...om/epoi_c03.htm ^_^

Left-
and Right-Handed Amino Acids Can Be Linked

Are
the two forms of the amino acids shaped so that any of them can
unite, whether they are L- or D- in type? The answer is yes.
Whether left- or right-handed, any amino acid can be linked with any
other of either hand. There seem to be no exceptions.34

Pauling
wrote (1964) : “We have no strong reason to believe that molecules
resembling proteins could not be built up of equal numbers of
right-handed and left-handed amino acid molecules.”35 Since that
was written, this has actually been done on numerous occasions in
many laboratories, resulting in a voluminous literature in the
scientific journals.
While
it is true that opposites can be linked in the laboratory, what about
that question if we consider the conditions that evolution assumes to
have been existing before life began? Dr. Sidney W. Fox, of the
University of Miami has done experiments which involve this. Some
years back, Dr. Fox heated all the common amino acids at 200o C
temperature under certain conditions and obtained chains containing
all the amino acids.36 When asked if both left- and right-handed
amino acids were included in the same chain, he replied that he was
almost 100 percent certain that they were, but that there was no way
to tell absolutely at the time.37 Temperatures of 170o C and above
were typically used in such experiments.

EDIT: fixed

That is interresting~ I love the pic too. Rather or not the two can have kids together is up to how eachone of us feels but I do know there sadly  (or not) due to this war there will be no lack of children that will need good loving homes.

Have to say it is interesting to see how many fics go along with the synthesis ending, not something I'd consider myself.

Hate synthetis and Control. Goes against everything we've fighting for. Individuality over a collective conciousness. Hell even the geth realize the importance of it once the reaper upgrades were uploaded passively.

My Brother Garrus is Turian, he will remain turian and I'll kill for him to remain Turian. I dont want no green goo coming out of his ears.

I simply can't consider Synthesis, except maybe with my very naive and gullible Shep (she'll probably nod to everything the Starchild says) who thought saving a bunch of civilians was more important than saving an Admiral, and ultimately lost her best friend. Control... maybe. But I hate the idea of that stupid cycle repeating itself again. Plus FIVE MINUTES BEFORE you convinced TIM that controlling the Reapers could only go horribly wrong. And rightfully so.

Destroy all the way. It's horrible to lose EDI and the Geth (but that's not even certain), but waaay better than the alternatives.

... in my opinion, of course.

Pretty much. I subscribe to the theory of "star-brat is a terrible liar" and pick destroy each and every time.

Makes the possibility for a reunion that much more real too (cue fanfics)

happy to share what I found; well my shep wouldn't mind hybrids but she'd also adopt - just turians & humans; for now...=] (still debating/considering for other races/species)

& control/synthesis endings feel more like "indoctrination" there, nevermind shep's eyes do become similar to Illusive Man's...

With control I'm guessing pure renegades might go for that option, the "space magic" option has way too many plotholes/questions. I can't see how anyone can't not pick destroy, heres hoping for the DLC to clear things up or I will to go to fanfic for closure.

Garrus has wine. One of very, very few smiling shots with Esperanza Shepard.

I've mentioned this to y'all, but I'm partial to the heroic sacrifice aspect of control, though... Well, let's just say I'm looking forward to our clarification dlc clarifying most everything. I like that with destroy, to live, Shepard has to make sacrifices among her friends and allies.

And I really ruddy hate synthesis. Maybe once it's clearer. As stands, urgh.

Under the video games/EA category... The art from both Garrus lithos and the Garrus Homeworlds cover art, available in many different sizes and able to stick directly to your wall. They literally have a crap-ton of ME art on on there.

I dont think they died. Like you said is not even certain. Which I am near 100% sure they aren't. And even if bioware says they were, I dont give a damn.

My brother isn't stuck in some god forsaken planet, because my brother wouldn't bail on me.

Bioware can take their cruddy ending and shove it up their corporate collective azzes.

Could go into detail why I think synthetics are alive... but basically the aforementioned sums it up. They sucked, so I made corrections. Like we all did :P

As I said, lying star-brat. Hell at the end of the day they aren't synthetic life per se, but computer programs, they only inhabit a mobile platform. Their bodies aren't a fundamental part of what they are, hence, in my mind, not synthetic.

Otherwise how can a Geth get into a quarians suit (pun intended)?
