Her tears at the last page... please hug me.:(

That was beautiful.

*hugs*
Group hug anyone?

So much better than what we got. Could've lived with that.

Always thought of adoption as the only plausible way, but with the discussion in this thread, I am starting to wonder if that Asari-reproduction-inspired full-human child is possible (as in "with respect to the logic of the Mass Effect universe") and if my Shepard would want to try it. Of course she'd have to ask Garrus, too, but I can't see him to disagree with something that (a reasonable, non-crazy) Shepard really, absolutely wants.

If Miranda's extensive engineering is possible, then so is the engineering necessary for the asari-reproduction-inspired child.

Have you notice the tribute thread for LIs?

I thought about sending a letter about the Garrus romance because I think it is perfect and beautiful done. Art can be contributed as well.

Maybe some of you would like to join?

I'm 100% on board with this.  I'm still working on the letter; if BioWare sees it, it has to be as damn near perfect as I can get it.

A) He could do the same... just with a turian surrogate mother.

B) I thought about it... but what would I say?  Thanks for inspiring me to plug the holes in the romance with fic?

Haven't seen anyone mention the "older" Garrus toy model that just came out. I just got it, so I'll do a quick little review for anyone considering getting one. I unfortunately can't take him out of the box, since he'll be a birthday gift for my bro. So nothing about articulation.

- Face is not as zombie-ish as in the bioware store image. However its really, really sloppy. Its essentially one color, with little to no distinction between the grey faceplates and the brown neck-hide. Bandage is only slightly lighter. The scarring is done with a few smudges of pink paint. The nose and mouth are sort of lost, and the mold on the mandibles is really crooked. [or at least it is on mine.]
- The viser is solid black with a little blue target at the end. On mine it is no where near his eye, but since its floating you probably can force it back in place.
- Slightly creepy shark-black eyes
- Armor texturing is pretty nice! It has sort of a brushed blue-chrome look. The black portion of his damaged side is really jarring though. It almost follows the exact boundaries of the armor plating, making a sort of weird tangent.
- He has the archangel symbol, but its brownish yellow and very hard to see.
- Rest of the armor molding is great though, its not as muddy as the face area.
- Comes with giant ass sniper rifle.

My personal thought: If you can get it for twenty bucks, sure. I wouldn't pay more for it, especially with the awesome play arts figure coming out.

Edit: Oh, I ended up getting mine today too!  I'm glad I bought it, though I'm still definitely looking forward to the ones coming out in August. Is it me or is the sniper rifle the wrong color...?

OH MY GODDD. That would have been a perfect ending! :crying: I wonder if she's going to continue it, with a Garrus reunion, post-London rubble scene? I will promote the hell out of that comic if that happens. <3

I read it with the music. That was a mistake. That + music = :crying::crying::crying:.

It is definitely less creepy! But it has its own sort of bizarre. The texturing on his face is sort of reminiscent of what happens to a toy when you leave it outside for years, and then randomly find it. It feel compelled to wash it.

Mordin looks pretty fab though. I think they'll ultimately look fine enough on a shelf, since you won't be looking too closely at his face anyways.

Quick question - people mention Garrus strokes Shepard's cheek on the date - I didn't see this, when does it happen? Is there a video anywhere of it?

It's VERY subtle. I only noticed it because people found out about it with flycam and Shep had a bun so I could see a little portion of his hand for a second.

It happens beyond the edge of the camera. It's subtle in the game and only really visible if you use a mod to change the field of view. I believe he does it when he's saying that the worst part about the galaxy going to hell would be never getting to see her again.

LOL.

I've been plugging the holes too, but it doesn't change the fact that what IS there in-game is lovely, especially in ME3.  And we got lucky; they didn't have to give us Garrus, especially since he was never intended as an LI, and we certainly got one of the best romance/friendship arcs all things considered.

You're absolutely right.  I needed the frame and the drywall before I could paint and hang pictures.

Hate synthetis and Control. Goes against everything we've fighting for. Individuality over a collective conciousness. Hell even the geth realize the importance of it once the reaper upgrades were uploaded passively.

My Brother Garrus is Turian, he will remain turian and I'll kill for him to remain Turian. I dont want no green goo coming out of his ears.

Yeah, we like him because he is a turian, we don't need to make him a green mutant to be bros or lovers. We didn't need it before. Also I hope to play as a turian hero in the next ME game , not green things. Better to stick to the original plan and play it safe; just kill all the genocidical reapers. When in doubt do what the turians do: bomb it. Okay, maybe not all the time but in the case of monsters like the reapers and losers like Cerberus it's probably best to take off and nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Really random question for today my fellow Garrusmancers...if your Shep were to get married to Garrus...what would they wear? (I've seen some fab fanart of Garrus in slick suits, but FemShep?)

I wondered because I'm currently engaged to be married. I love lace (and was happy to see FemShep liked them too, at least with her undies).

I actually like the synthesis idea? I mean obviously I'm all for the IT and just pretending the endings didn't happen, but if I had to pick one of them it would be that one. Eris worked so hard to mentor EDI and broker peace for the Geth and the Quarians, so it feels like an ending that sacrifices synthetic life, even if it means she might survive, is contradictory to who she is as a proponent of equality and opportunity for all kinds of life. I'm also kind of a Kurzweil fan though, so that might have something to do with it haha.

Thank you Karrie and Janus - I play on the Xbox so can't do that, but knowing that he does do that makes the scene even more awesome!

I would be up for a Garrus LI tribute - not too arty so would probably be a letter or something.

Congrats on your engagement!

I've already picked out a wedding dress for my Shepard (yes, I know, I have problems).  I picture Garrus in a darker color of Victus's suit, since that seemed more formal than the other versions of turian non-armor clothing we've seen.  Maybe with coattails because that's funny :D

Starbrat is lying. ;p

EDI can live in the Destroy ending, so I take it that Geth can live too.

I seriously can't consider Synthesis becauses the first picture that went through my mind when I first got told about it was all my crew being turned into husks. And my opinion didn't really improve until then. Removing diversity accomplishes nothing. There is no such thing as "final evolution", in fact it sounds freaking scary, all the more so when it comes from the Starchild.

So I might pick Control one day. Maybe. But Synthesis? Not gonna happen.

Lol! Garrus in coattails, that'd make my day. XD

I too have chosen a dress for my Shep. A chiffon gown, strapless, and empire waist. Pretty, but not poofy. XD

I agree, that was the first thought in my head too. Plus, I just don't like changing mission parameters. The goal from the beginning was to destroy the Reapers, so I'll stick with that. :) One day I may choose Synthesis or Control, but I'll have to think on it and warm up to the idea before I commit to it. And I'll need to make a Shep who would actually pick one or the other.

Until then, I am content with following Garrus's orders: destroying the Reapers and coming back alive. XD

Yeah I'm confused on the EDI living thing because in the destroy ending Joker gets off the Normandy followed by your LI looking all sad and forlorn, but in the other two endings Joker and EDI are the first ones off and they're happy. I know there was that tweet saying that EDI was in the destroy ending but I kind of wonder if that was a mistake.

Bastard deserves to feel sad, he took all Shep's loved ones from her!

I'm pretty sure Weekes confirmed it wasn't a bug.
