Yeah I'm confused on the EDI living thing because in the destroy ending Joker gets off the Normandy followed by your LI looking all sad and forlorn, but in the other two endings Joker and EDI are the first ones off and they're happy. I know there was that tweet saying that EDI was in the destroy ending but I kind of wonder if that was a mistake.

Bastard deserves to feel sad, he took all Shep's loved ones from her!

I'm pretty sure Weekes confirmed it wasn't a bug.

I actually like the synthesis idea? I mean obviously I'm all for the IT and just pretending the endings didn't happen, but if I had to pick one of them it would be that one. Eris worked so hard to mentor EDI and broker peace for the Geth and the Quarians, so it feels like an ending that sacrifices synthetic life, even if it means she might survive, is contradictory to who she is as a proponent of equality and opportunity for all kinds of life. I'm also kind of a Kurzweil fan though, so that might have something to do with it haha.

Saren believed in Synthesis. He went for it. Look how it turned out.

TIM believed in control. But he realized, and star child told you, those who believe that can control is because the reapers are telling them they can. Not because is possible at all. This isn't the first rodeo at this galaxy. Prothean VI alluded to such. Even on their time people wanted to control the reapers. Turns out they thought they could because they were indoctrinated.  Anyone who believes coexistence with the reapers is possible, a mesh of synthethic and organic through force rather than through natural evolution is because they were indoctrinated.

Implying that anything "synthetic" would be destroyed is no different that destroying every computer in the galaxy, rendering the galaxy pre modern times. Which doesn't happen since apparently people still use weapons and the like.

Just noting that in ME2 at some time you can ask her about "anti-reaper aligorithms" and she'll mention that "her design includes hardware recovered from the wreckage of Sovereign"

Every time I see a fanfiction summary or title that goes something like "Shepard is wandering the Normandy but no one can actually see her.", "before the devil knows your dead", or anything to do with a bar, I die a little inside.  Stop invading my playthrough canon you people! My shepard lived!

Same here. MShep is fun, but not really my Shepard. Less immersion or something like that, can't really say.

On a side note: Is Kaliya a common name somewhere or a reference that I don't get, or have you, by any chance, written some fanfiction some time ago? With some authors it is quite obvious, thanks to sigs and / or nicknames, but while I can't recall a Sable Rhapsody, I'd bet that I've read your Shepard's name somewhere, probably year(s) ago.

And speaking of hugging dextros; you know when Shepard and team dextro had to squeeze into the narrow baggage storage in a geth fighter when Legion made a spectacular exit from the exploding geth flagship? I doubt my mind was the only one that started to wander into naughty directions. Someone has probaly already written fanfiction about it.

I was attempting to find a killer full body illustration of a turian in a tuxedo holding a martini glass that made my brain do the equivalent of whatever the grey matter equivalent of signal-less CRT tv static + whitenoise is, but I couldn't find it so I went with the opposite of classy and found you guys this either very built or happily chubby turian in his rather endearing smalls. Also his markings and colouring remind of me of caramel, chocolate and coffee foam. Yum.
