Alright, here's a question for you all (and if this has been asked before just ignore me): How would your Shepard react if the turian scout Garrus had a fling with showed up in ME3 and had an interest in him (starting hitting on him, etc.)?

My Garrusmancing Shepard isn't really the jealous type and trusts him not to stray, so whether it was a romanced-Garrus playthrough or not, I'd probably stand back and see how he deals with the situation. Though I'd prefer something more like this, just for the lulz:

Fling Lady Turian: Garrus, hey! What's it been, 8, 9 years? [bro-punches his shoulder] Didn't think I'd ever see you in this part of Palaven. I'm doing well, got a kid, growin' up fast. You should meet him, he...really has your eyes.
Garrus: ....O.O
Fling Lady Turian: HAHA, I'm joking! Spirits, you should have seen the look on your face, lololol"
Garrus: -_-

I would also super extreme like to meet Solana in ME3. Here's hoping.

Pfhahahaha that would be AWESOME. And hilarious. :lol:

As for my Shep, I think her reaction would depend on Garrus' reaction first. She trusts him. As long as he was honest about whatever he decided to do, Shep would be okay with whatever he did.

I'm sure you saw what Shepard did to that harpy news reporter on the Citadel? Yeah, something like that.

My femshep would probably make loads of subtle references about reach and flexibility until someone cottons on. Nothing aggressive or rude, just lots of little amusing innuendos :whistle: Then we'd all be friends and go about saving the galaxy. Got my version of ME3 (head version) sorted out.

If you had to choose between saving Garrus or saving the turian Hierarchy from utter annihilation, which would you decide was more important for the war effort?

Turian Hierarchy. No need to say more.

Yeah, after much consideration, I think that would be my answer as well. The scenario running through my head was..

What if part of the turian conflict we have to resolve involves rebels that oppose the Hierarchy, what side do you think Garrus would support? Most likely rebels. If you're forced to make an executive decision to gain control of the turian fleet.. well, it would be heartbreaking and ugly but you'd have to do what's best for the galaxy as a whole.

Just thinking about it gives me a stomach ache though.

I would just turn off the game.

I'd do both. XD

Given my obsessive saving habits, I'd try one, see how that goes, then reload and try the other. As to which one would be my "actual" choice... well, that depends on what happens in each.

I love reloads. :D

Or bioware could be cruel and prevent that by making the choice come into effect later on in the game and not immediately.

I never specified when I'd reload... ;) It could be right at the end!

Both if I can. Otherwise, I don't know... I need more details before making decisions. But not saving Garrus would be so heartbreaking I'm not sure I could do it.

Off-hand comment; I really hope we'll see Sidonis in ME3 if he is left alive. :)

I think that I would play both. but i still think this is one of those choices that needs to have more information.. ya know? more context.

I agree with dannybates about just turning off the game :)

Seriously though, I think I'd do two different playthroughs. But the way I get attached to characters in video games, I think I'd always wind up following through on saving Garrus. I would feel the same way about any of my squadmates. Whether it was Garrus. Jacob, or Jack, the decision would be tough.
I hope Bioware doesn't have us make a choice like that. They already made us choose between squadmates in the original ME, and that was hard enough.

I come with rather awesome and some....distubring news that has some relativity to Garrus.

You have been warned.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- All squad mates will get their story and closure for ME3 even if they might not be a permanent squad member.
- Less focus on building loyalty with squad members and more on the various races.
- The fate of the squad mates will not always be up to the player and decisions that feels right can prove to be harmful.
- The banter will be increased significantly since the squad member group is smaller this time.
- There may be time sensitive story elements though it will be more focused ones like the Normandy crew. ME3 will make you cry!
- Indoctrination seem to play a role in ME3, possibly including party members.
- Aside from the Krogan princess, we will apparently not see female counterparts of turians, salarians and so on in ME3 either.
- You'll have debriefings after each mission that are deeper than ME2, but you are still likely to only talk to the squad mates one on one outside of that.
- How many team mates you speak to at the same time aboard the Normandy depends on the context of the missions.
