Now that that's out of the way:

This might be a weird question but...
If Garrus was a dog, what breed would he be? My fiance has agreed to get a dog for us, and I really, really want to name him Garrus, but I want his name to fit. I mean.... a Chihuahua just doesn't work P:

ONly ones coming to mind are hunting dogs, or races close to wolfs.

Actually any dog used as a Search and Rescue dog, by that I mean any breed that is apt for those type of jobs even of course your dog never going to be one would , in my opinion, suit garrus

I'm not a dog person, so i wouldn't know....actually i'm not an animal person full stop, hell i only just know what breed my cat is, don't ask me to name any others lol.

I think you should consider temperament and environment for your breed choice rather than fitting the dog to the name. Besides, the more you use the name and the longer you have the dog, the more it'll feel 'right'.

True. I've had dogs all my life, so I'm used to that. Just wanted some choices to narrow it down instead of the big breed pool I've got right now. Won't be getting a dog for quite a while to begin with obviously, need the wedding first:wizard: and then we'll be in an apt and that's not really a place for a big dog, especially when the apts don't want dogs bigger than 30 lbs.

Lol, delurking long enough to admit, when I adopted an unnamed dog from the animal shelter a couple of years ago...I called him Varren.=P
The poor person when I went to have his tags cut..."can you....spell that?"
I always name my animals odd things, hell, I even have a pair of apple snails called Sovereign and Harbinger. (named for their systematic beta-fish destruction)

I'll definitely name my next dog Garrus or goldfish.

My boyfriend's catfish is named Garrus. He lives under the bridge...and I think he might have sniped one of the angel fish...he really is an archangel. DX
Also, that Saren/Benezia picture almost killed me. I choked on my tea when I first saw it. It's awesome.
