That is the appeal of Garrus; you'd expect him to get up in the middle of the night to help with the kids. Well, hell, any responsible father would do that. But I find it funnier because Garrus would be one of those fathers that would go, "Shepard! Shepard! His TOOTH fell out! Is he dying?"

Then he'd realize that it's a perfectly normal process.

My fiance does that with our cat. He's had cats before, but it was his first time with a kitten and her tooth (one of her canines/fangs) actually did fall out. He thought she got in a fight with the next door cat or that I punched her or something silly.

Soooo, apparently Sbarge was called back for additional voice work. I figured they'd just use EDI since she has no variables. Hopefully this is good news for Garrus too, since Kaidan can die twice over and they're still bringing him back.

Garrus would totally do this.  Then because my Shep has actually watched the vids and done her research, she would roll her eyes at him and tell him to sit down and take a few deep breaths

Oh, this is a difficult question. I'll try to narrow it down. Mind you, a lot of these are tear jerkers, I'm a bit of a masochist that way <.<

Bullet in the Brain - It's a deeply disturbing story, but it's absolutely beautifully written. One of three fanfics that's managed to make me actually cry.

Enemies Like You and Me - AU. I'm not sure why I read this one over and over, but it just has... something. The entire series is fantastic (and hot =P).

The Shepard Code - This made me sob for a really long time, then go running to my boyfriend to cry on his shoulder some more. It's just... argh. There are no words to describe how wonderful this one is. Who knew happy endings could make you cry so much?

Commander Shepard, You've Got Mail and the interlude, The Heart Asks for Pleasure First - I really enjoy how these fics focus on the friendship between Garrus and Shep between ME1 and ME2. The little interactions and funny conversations they have are priceless. 

Improved Relations - It is absolutely, utterly, ridiculously hilarious. I've headcanoned it, though even the author admits it's a crackfic =P

The Map of Her Skin - Really adorable feel-good fluff that makes me smile everytime I read it.

I Waited - Three parter that brought me ridiculously close to tears. Oh Garrus... Oh Garrus ;_;

The Hundred Year Distance - Heartbreaking, but a weird kind of happy. It's hard to describe, but I'd really recommend it. I'm not sure if it's just me, but I have trouble rereading it. It just tugs on your heartstrings so much.

Broken Trust and it's followup, Cracked Faith - Heavy non-con, but I think the author portrayed reality really well in both. It's definitely not something that can be enjoyed, but it can be appreciated. I strongly advise reading the author warnings beforehand if you do want to read it, for reasons I won't delve into here.

Battlefields Much Beloved - A short piece of fluff that reads like poetry and captures Femshep and Garrus perfectly in my opinion.

The next few aren't Femshep/Garrus but I love them to absolute bits and I think fellow turian lovers might enjoy them =)

Learning Experiences - Femshep/Saren AU, where Shep is a Spectre-in-training under Saren. I love the way the author portrayed Saren and developed his character.

Marked - Saren learns why he has no facial markings. It's a heartwrenching but fantastic piece.

Worst Case Scenario - Saren/Femshep/Nihlus AU. The three Spectres get stranded on a planet, and... things happen =P. The interactions and character development between these three is beautifully done.

Supernova - Femshep/Nihlus kind of AU. Nihlus and Femshep meet before the events of ME1. This story made me laugh, giggle, blush, scowl, and cry. I just... I can't say enough good words about this. It's definitely one of my top three ME fics.

I'm Watching You - Saren/Nihlus. Saren catches Nihlus during a slightly intimate moment while going through his video surveillance. I'll recommend anything by Smehur, but this piece is my favourite. The troubled relationship between them is well done, not to mention that I'm pretty sure I've fallen in love with adorable Nihlus.

Oh man, I've pretty much made an archive I'm sure I've missed a lot though, especially from the kink meme. Garrus fans write amazing stories =)

I understand. I desperately try to remain skeptical, but I don't think Bioware are that stupid as to mess this up again, they know what we are upset about, and they already stated it wouldn't just be a few more cutscenes - that is, not just "clarification". Plus, apparently, given Sbarge's tweet, voice actors are coming back.

I'm not saying it will be amazing - given the material they have, they can make something decent at best IMO. But I can live with that.

Love your slideshow. I wish I could do the same with my Shep.

I'm still going for the Garrus approach.  Besides, the sting of ME3's disappointing ending has now been thoroughly healed for me with Legend of Korra AND the second season of Game of Thrones being incredibly win.  And I'll have Diablo III to distract me if the EC really sucks pants.

Hyrule, who's this reality you're speaking with? It talks nonsense. The Normandy scene never happened. In fact I don't even know what "Normandy scene" means anymore.

Sable: Expecting the worst to have a chance to be pleasantly surprised? Yeah, I tried to, but I'm too stupidly optimistic in any aspect of my life, that includes gaming.

I've been watching, reading and playing Star Wars products to heal the wound, it worked quite well.

Oooh can't wait for Diablo III. I've replayed the second one recently as an assassin. Still kicks ass. I don't think I've ever encountered a better hack'n slash game since Diablo.

Hands down this is my favorite.

It tells the story of how Garrus and Shepard become parents.  Reading about Garrus being a father very enjoyable... a good happy ending to a story that needed one.  The only complaint I have is over a little smut, around the beginning but it is easy to skip over.  Hopefully A!A (the author) gets around to writing a sequel where they adopt a turian child. 

You will have to expand the threads to read the whole thing. Enjoy

*edit* This is what I accept as the cannon ending.  BTW

On the subject of Fanfics, too many to list, but that one where Fshep magically has a turian kid (just cos) is amazing, absolutely love it.

Also if that person who posted a whole link of fanfics could do so again, or even chuck that on the OP that'd be awesome.

Wow! I connot believe I mised this! It was amazing.  Now I have two different endings that I love.

Mine too!!! She's just so pretty.   I would love to see turians like this in future mass effect games.  Heck, I still want bioware to make DLC that lets us go to Palaven and meet/help Garrus's family.
