Lol, I find I have to compete with Garrus for kills when we're both sniping.  But yeah, he'll definitely  those kills from you if you aren't quick enough.

I tried playing a sniper-style Shepard for my ManShep.  I learned that I am bad at sniping, and that Garrus is a horrible kill-stealing bastard :P  So I switched to Vanguard, and now I imagine Garrus yelling at HIM for charging his perfectly aligned sniper shots.

I just can't seem to get in to Vanguard as much as I'd like. In all my other gaming (lots of mmo-ing) I almost exclusively play a melee dps class and the occasional ranged type like ranger/archer/sniper/etc... (Pretty sure I don't play healers because I started gaming on my own as opposed to at the suggestion of a boyfriend that wanted a pocket healer lol)
But I just can't get in to Vanguard in this game.

However, as an engineer with a sniper rifle I'm pretty... Impressive!
Turret & Drone for some distraction, lots of overloads, and of course the joy of Cryo + headshot.
Nightmare mode got nothin on me!

I always take Garrus and usually James for his up-close-and-personal badassery... but sometimes Liara for her biotics since I have Reave as my special.

Playing a Vanguard is fairly simple.

First, charge. Then, charge again.

And when all else fails, charge.

And Kai Leng...ugh. He even called in Garrus' only weakness for backup and he still needed plot armor to make it through that fight on Thessia.

Garrus was tired. He got a little sloppy, Tarak got a little lucky. Garrus Vakarian has no weaknesses.

Eh, i can't really handle the play style of the Vanguard, i just don't find it fun full stop, prefer Infiltrator and Sentinal myself.

...that and i despise shotguns...

Cryo + headshot.

Yes! *hi5*
I also love it when Garrus follows up my cryo with his concussive shot. Kablooeh!
...I honestly did not mean to make that sound dirty. :innocent:
I love playing infiltrator! I'm going to try vangaurd some day. I was afraid to get close but then I found out that shotguns are really fun.

Oh look, Lorik Qui'in. :D

Multiplayer taught me that shotguns are full of winsauce.  Though if I have to play close-quarters, I prefer the MP Batarian Soldier.  Exploding foot-long blades shooting into the faces of my enemies?  I'll take it :D

Ugh, ok rant time now that Im on my 4th playthourgh and on the London mission again.

Why the F)(@K is there NOT a save point when you first hit the Hammer base for the final goodbyes before you talk to all the male teammates - but there IS one AFTER them and before the females?
If you want to replay your Garrus talk, you have to do the entire initial fight over again, but if you want to replay Liara or Tali, you can save right there and do it over and over?

I find that incredibly frustrating and kind of screwed up that "guys" can replay theirs any time from a save and us girls cannot. ARRRGGHHH

Anyone seen "Garrus" on TV lately? He's in the latest Castle Episode and a speed dating ad for AT&T.

It is pretty messed up.  But you can get around it on PC by renaming the autosave that you get at the beginning of the Hammer base (usually to a numbered save like the other standard saves).  Or you could always use the Gibbed editor to copy the autosave and create a new permanent save.

Oh hell, I never thought of that. Great suggestion. This is why I love conversing with people smarter than I on a subject... this one being computers in general.
I'm better with hardware than the soft stuff  lol. But I should be able to navigate my way to the autosave and make it a litte more permanent.

You're welcome ^_^  Feel free to PM me with questions, but it should be pretty self-explanatory.  You might want to make a copy of the autosave in case it doesn't work properly.

Yeah... he often does that if you don't tell him to bunker down somewhere behind Shep and do what he do best: Camp and steal all Shepards kills. Well okay, maybe there is one thing he can do better than that...

LOL.  Scenes like that and the Anders kissing scene in DA2 are why I never turn on subtitles.  Even if they are hilarious, they do kind of kill it sometimes

Having some writer's block ATM.  Poor long-form kmeme fill, it's been almost a week since I updated you.

Bahaha just reading the description you gave of that moment is enough to make me laugh. The a!a updated recently tooooooo. They went dark for what felt like a week and a bit and I was all "noooooooooo." And then I saw a couple of new updates just today and I'm like "YEAAAAAAHHHH."

Speaking of that Saren pic above, am I the only one who ever imagines Saren looking at something raunchy when he peeks through his fingers in ME1 when Benezia is giving him her bad news report? It seems like an oddly timid gesture from someone so dominant and RAAAAAUUUGGHHHRRR!!!11!11!!!1! SAREN SMASH.

This is hilarious. I have trouble taking that scene seriously anyway. I know indoctrination can make people violent, but I felt more like the developers were trying to tell us "see this guy? In case you hadn't understood that already, he's the bad guy."

Heh. Yes, that scene was about as subtle as a rampagning Krogan on bloodrage. Still, with these pictures of Saren, I suppose I'll have a hard time playing ME again due to severe causes of blushing...

@Sable Rhapsody: Sorry to hear about writer's block. Mind if I ask which fill is / are yours?
