That reminds me, the problem I had with Ash's scene at the memorial is that Ash seems to have stolen Fenris' sister from DA2. Both Sarah Williams and Varania have bright red hair, pale skin and look nothing like their sibling. TBH, I'm glad Papa Vakarian never showed his face in-game if that's the kind of attention to detail they give family members. They'd probably use some barefaced stock turian. ::mutter::

Same with Miranda and Oriana. :C So disappointing.

And they're supposed to be twins!

Inorite? I get that not all twins look alike, but if there was ever a valid excuse to reuse a model and re-arrange it a bit that's one.

All these things.

Also, someone mentioned the other day (I think it was you, Aris) that s/he was pretty bothered by the barefaced mp Turians. This was like a revelation- it seemed like they were missiong something, and I just couldn't figure out whyyyyy.

I didn't notice it either until Aris mentioned it.  Though you can change skin tone for other unlocks; does that give you face paint on the turians?  I haven't unlocked enough customization for my turians to see if that works.

My poor MP turians are so unloved.  I much prefer Geth ^_^

All twins may not look alike, but genetic clones always do.

@alyxor: Yeah, that was me. It makes no sense at all. I really dislike my special forces heroes sharing the dishonor reserved for the likes of Saren, Joram Talid and Warden Kuril.

@Sable Rhapsody: For Asari, the facial markings are under 'Pattern', and change when your armor pattern changes (dumb system, if you ask me), but Turians have none under Pattern. Skin Tone just changes the tint, almost completely unnoticeably. AND, the colors are rainbow colors, which makes sense because there have always been a lot of blue, purple and green turians running around in SP. <_<

I am filled with a longing to give them awesome colony paint, now. I find that the 'skin tone' does almost nothing for any of the characters on MP. I also find it amusing that it is still labeled such on Quarians.

And why isn't there a Turian Infiltrator?!?

Here's what the turian 'Skin Color' options look like. See if you can spot the difference!

Posted Image

Even if it did actually do something it would be silly, since of the ten choices you get 3 different greens, 2 blues, a pink and a purple. Only three of them even make since for natural turian skin/plate colors.

@alyxor: I'm hoping Turian Infiltrator or Turian Adept will be the next 'elite' (Like Justicar and Battlemaster) in the next group of classes (assuming we get any more). It could be called Turian Spectre, since a lot of Spectres are turians. <3

Ah, pants.  Well, it was worth hoping that skin tone would do something like facepaint on turians.  On quarians, it changes their mask color :?

I did, in fact, hear a rumor that the next Multiplayer DLC will might include a Turian Infiltrator.
news.softpedia.com/news/Next-Mass-Effect-3-Multiplayer-DLC-Brings-Vorcha-Characters-and-More-Report-Says-267367.shtml

Maybe this time he can do combat rolls or something. Even the Marauders can hop and dodge out of the way!

I'm pretty sure I really only like the Multiplayer because it is Mass Effect, and I get to zap things with my Salarian and toss things around with my Asari. I know for a fact that the only reason I even bother using a soldier is because it's the Turian one- I'm a terrible shot.

Also probably why I'm still actually using a forum site, too.

edit: trying to get the link to just hotlink instead of copy-pasting it.

I've heard that, but I try not to take any rumors that seriously. I saw two different (and differently named) supposed upcoming DLCs on the front page of the MP sub-forum, that was one of them, I can't remember the other one. If it happens though, that'll be awesome.

Alas, I don't play my turians as often as I should. They really kind of did them a disservice with their inability to roll. Turians are known for their agility, aren't they? The poor MP turians don't have the market cornered for any specialty, they're only available for the two least popular classes and they're not even the best of their class. :(

I know I shouldn't buy into the rumor, but I want to BELIEEEEEEVE. :crying:

was beyond underwhelmed at how unimpressive both of the Turian classes were in MP.

This is the best thing ever. xD

I would give everything for an Elcor with 'Tactical Cover'. I'm so good at standing in front of my teammates accidentally anyway.

All this MP talk reminds me of this:

DAT HANAR.

All in all, tempting both because of its absurdity and in spite of it.

Did anyone else find it odd that while Morinth looked pretty much exactly like Samara, neither of her other two daughters resembled her? Also, her daughters had different facial tattoos/designs.

Odd, but not surprising considering the other things mentioned. Aethyta didn't even look like herself, she looked like a completely different asari. I think they just couldn't be bothered to remember or try to match any of the minor characters, which is really a shame.

General Septimus was awfully lucky he looked even remotely the same, considering how minor a character he was. The only fault with his appearance was a minor facial marking discrepancy that I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't seen the two pictures on his wiki page.

I was rather grateful that the original Council members all pretty much stayed the same as they were in ME1.

Liara slowly got remodeled from game to game, though.

Wait, what? Turian Sentinal is an absolute BEAST with Warp and Overload giving you the perfect balance in talents (i personally take the point out of Tech armour). Add in the stability bonus inherent with being a Turian, and you've got one of the best classes in the game! Just give him a lightweight weapon so you can spam your talents and you're set. I personally go for the N7 Eagle, and with with weight bonus that weighs nothing as well. Always end up on top with him, hell hes just about the only character i ever use besides the Salarian Engineer (gold credit farming runs etc).

Headshots, headshots everywhere

Sigh, if only.

I read something in the twitter topic about the ME3 Lead Character Artist showing off 'something' and I was wondering what characters they could possibly be designing at this point in time, with the game already finished and the EC only being 'clarification'. I figured then it was probably for DLC, then I wondered if maybe we'd get our females after all. Wishful thinking, I know. :crying:
