I just read The Shepard Code last night. It's probably one of the best Fanfics I've read. I could not for the life of me stop crying like a little baby. My bf was rolling his eyes at me hehe.

It's sooo sad, but not to worry it has a pretty good ending. a MUST read for anyone who likes Garrus Fanfic. It's not Mature content no matte what the site says. This one if just very very romantic.

This is a WIP, not sure if anyone knows what a Shimeji is but I love these little mascots and decided to try and make a Garrus one.

Shimeji's are little computer mascots that walk around your computer's screen. They can climb, multiply and do other little activities.

Here is what I have so far.... I think he is cute and even has his little scar~

When I first downloaded Shimeji however many months (or year) ago, I actually searched for a Garrus one, but couldn't find one. A Garrus/turian one would be nice. :)

ImperatoMortis and
RogueMumei, I thought a Garrus/Turian one would be cute too, I made it so the 'tattoo' and scar are on different layers so I can make other Turians as well. It is my hope that he comes out nicley cause I have ideas for a Liara one and I would like to make all the squadies and a male and fem Shep as well.

I do know there is a Joker Shimeji posted on DA.

Can't really agree on that, and while I usually don't like to comment on fics I dislike, I'll make an exception for this, because I would have liked to like it, if that makes any sense. According to fanfiction.net, it is from the same author who wrote "Uncle" and "Dad", and those I liked. But there are some things I find hard to tolerate if I want to enjoy a fiction, including too much tragedy / sadness (if I want that, I just replay the ME3 ending without mods) or the damn control ending (because, no matter what an author makes of it, the whole idea seems really, really wrong to me from a personal / moral point of view).
Another personal point of "arrrgh" would be hybrid children, by the way. Adoption? Fine. Shepard pregnant with a human baby? Fine. With a turian baby and a bit space magic? Can be fine, too. If not already recommended: "Life always finds a way". But I have yet to see a hybrid-children fiction I find bearable. Perhaps I have just looked at the wrong ones, though - I certainly do not intend to insult any writer reading these lines ;)

@Sable Rhapsody: Sorry again to hear that. Hope you are feeling better - at least partly because I really enjoyed some of your writing :)
Didn't really dare to touch Saren-FShep fictions until now, but I'll give it a try.

On the multiplayer turians: I enjoyed playing Sentinel, but being forced to play barefaced... Don't know what Bioware thought. Given some other decisions in ME3 (Jacob? Thane? Kai Leng?? The whole ending?!?) though, that is one of the more minor points for me.

Godd*mnit. Now I don't know if I want to read it or not.  I think I'll file it away for some time when I'm desperate (like when the hubby is hogging the Xbox with MP).  I'm kind of in the same camp where hybrid babies are concerned.  Just...noooooooooo.....

Although I do like baby fics. To Hold the World is definitely one of my favorites right now.

Sorry, I think I may not have been as clear as I intended. As far as I know, there are no hybrid children in that fiction, "just" sadness and the colour green of our favourite red-green-blue mix also known as ME3's ending.
It was just the third point on my personal "ehhh, probably a waste of time reading that" list.

Edit: In short, I probably started to ramble about things I dislike in a fiction and threw away all attempts at structuring the post while at it ;)

Red all the way. Least sucky choice.

I'm too lazy to look, do you have links to the baby fics?

Uncle

Dad (sequel)

Life Always Finds a Way

To Hold the World

Edit: These aren't baby related--but still awesome.  Could be classified as "family related".  I approve of anything involving Garrus' dad.

A Family Affair

A Family Occasion (sequel, WIP)

Well, I had the feeling that Lexane was Shadow's little sister ^^ Probably in a parallel universe though, to prevent any fighting about a certain boyfriend. And don't ask about her name, it goes back to my first BG character and I can't really recall what reason I had (if any) to pick it. That first Bhaalspawn wasn't even a thief or ranger...

Regarding the links: Not complete, but these are those that came to my mind.
"Dad" - http://masseffectkin...24741#t10924741
"Life Always Finds a Way" - http://masseffectkin...08773#t10808773
"To Hold the World" - http://masseffectkin...493205#t9493205

And, while no baby-fic, still one of my current favourites:
"Sister Complex" - http://masseffectkin...526997#t9526997

Besides, Aralakh / Tuchanka's sun is not bad for screenshots.

No green ending, just Blue :P

And ofc it isn't everyones cup of tea, I personally would never pick the blue ending, went red every time. But that story still made me cry, even tho it's not how I see the ending.

I have to say, that Garrus' bit in this weeks episode of Gamerpoop was especially hilarious. (Warning: NSFW)

For those of you just tuning in--here's the previous two installments.  Don't watch if you're easily offended or have small children around :D

Okay, too little sleep this night. Sorry, then I obviously mixed up some fictions there. It even states "Control" in the ff-summary... I suppose "derelict Reaper inhabited by a hologram of Commander Shepard" just sounded so strange to me that I automatically kicked it into my mental "Synthesis" category.

I admit, Control doesn't give me the  "how can you do that to the whole galaxy?!?" impression. For some Shepards, it may even be a reasonable choice, in terms of role-playing. Still, all my Shepards, no matter if pure-paragon or paragade (can't play full renegade, physically unable to click on some choices ^^) simply refuse to believe any word the Catalyst speaks. Just five minutes before Shepard convinced the Illusive Man that he was likely to be indoctrinated, and now (s)he is suddenly supposed to want to achieve the same damn thing?

That's funny, I actually headcanoned her having an older sister (before she... well... died.). And I also named her according to my BG character!

I started reading this and so far, I'm loving it.

All I can say is: yes, I have done some recording this week.
I believe it was Shakespeare who wrote "The better part of Voiceover is discretion..."

Sigh.  I'm trying not to get my hopes up so when the EC comes out I won't be completely emotionally destroyed by BW AGAIN. Comments like these make it hard though.

Know I should ask in the ME2 thread but it's kinda dead.

I reloaded a save prior to the collector base, to do the romance dialogue with Garrus. But afterwards instead of him popping in on Shepard, she just stares at the Kaidan picture.
So I reloaded a save prior to the crew being taken and did the same thing. And still the romance scene didn't trigger :(

How far back do I have to reload my save? Any ideas?
I just really cannot be bothered doing another play through of ME2. Mad that in all my play throughs I've romanced and stayed loyal to Kaidan *grumble*.

What does he say if you go talk to him right before the mission?
