3. Headcanon / fanfiction info / whatever: Turians have higher body temperatures than humans
Conclusion: Garrus-romancing Shepard makes sure the average room temperature is higher than normal, to help Garrus feel comfortable. So she can sleep without a blanket without freezing, and the Turian does not get a cold.

I dunno, i doubt i could sleep without anything covering....

Same here.  I insist on sleeping with at least a sheet and more often than not burrow entirely under the covers.  Even in the California summer.  It drives my boyfriend insane :P

Also for near ToP, Mother's Day ME style!

Had the weirdest game of MP today....we were all Turian 50/50 split between the two classes. The other three however were more intent on trapping me so i couldn't move in cover (just by standing really close) than shooting geth...was rather odd.

Twas a good laugh, but then they kicked me....

:crying:

Wut. What kind of douchebaggery was that? I would have ragequit.

All turians I run into on MP are usually either really nice, or then really really new to the MP. Never actually had one on my team that would have pissed me off in some way. Interesting enough.
I enjoy tagging along for Bronze matches with my Justicar, trailing the newbies and protecting them with my bubble. Biotic hugs for all the turians!

Probably because i was still awed by the novelty of having an all Turian team, doesn't happen often, and i still managed to beat the next best guy by around 20k points or so, so it wasn't a total waste. Didn't quit because thats probably what they wanted, though i was a bit miffed that they didn't respond after i sent a message asking what exactly was going on, in a lighthearted manner of course.

I'll chuck a pic of the post-game scoreboard soonish for lulz, and then you can laff at them too.

Did you get chucked into the match randomly from the 'search for game' option or something? Or did they just feel like you were owning them too badly? I mean, if they didn't kick you in the lobby before the game and then suddenly hated yoy, something fishy must have been going on on their side.

I find that at least on PC, you don't find all that many buttheads on MP. I play a lot of random Bronze because I enjoy it, and most of the time the people I play with are completely alright, if a bit clueless and death-happy.

I'll take your word for it. I don't particularly enjoy MP in general anyway. I like to be on my own (except for Portal 2).

This.  Though I've started playing random Silver and Gold more regularly, and that tends to be more of a mixed bag.  At higher difficulties, the awesome people are awesomer, and the jerks are bigger jerks.

EDIT: Also, if any of y'all have suggestions on how to play the MP turians well, I'll take them.  I am apparently only good at squishy caster classes (Adept and Engineer).

"Bored" would be more accurate. With the current ending, I am not really motivated to give the other romances a try, so I rather collect screenshots and try to prepare for any disappointment the Ending DLC may create. So if Lexane wants to become the new Human Councillor, buy a house on Bekenstein or similar, just give the word ;)

About Miranda: Only thing I could imagine is that Kai Leng's dossier sent by Anderson was not read in time. Didn't try that myself, but the ME Wiki says it is necessary for her to live through Sanctuary.
And regarding the Harbinger flycam-shots: Sorry, I'd volunteer for any scene before London, but the later sequences tend to make me gnaw at my table in frustration. Any theory regarding that scene you wish to prove?

Edit: Hm, multiplayer. Played quite an amount of bronze matches to promote enough characters to get my war assets above 8000, so that I can stop multiplayer and still have the Shepard-lives-scene. Most guys out there are really quite okay, but I've had enough bad groups to prefer being left alone. Sadly, soloing multiplayer does require more experience or more skill than I have - my infiltrators sometimes manage bronze solo, but for all other classes, it is a lost cause.

And about MP Turians: What DiabolicReality says. Or just skip warp on the Sentinel, join only Geth games and create impressive amounts of scrap metal or synthetic rubble.

Most of the not-so-nice people I've met were on Silver as well, actually. (Played Gold only twice so far. Not looking forward to the repeat.)

And which Turian? The Sentinel is easier to go with if you like casters. He's not very good at doing damage on his own if you don't have a awesome gun though. My turian Sentinel is built around biotic priming with Warp, Overload shield-strip spam and some serious tanking with tech-armor and the natural higher HP/shields that turians get.

He does have some good stability/damage bonuses for weapons if you look into Turian Veteran. My build is currently 6/6/6/4/4.

The soldier is THE gun class. Marksman basically means you can turn any assault rifle and any SMG into a reliable and accurate death ray. Want to play around with a gun and never stop firing? Geth SMG + Marksman is basically a lazerbeam. Not very good, but hilarious.

I use the Revenant or the Tempest on my soldier. Hurricane and Hornet are better though, but I haven't unlocked them so boo.

Just stay close to an ammo box, or hoard clips. Because you'll be pissing bullets with the RoF.

Also, Concussive Shot is rather sucky at the moment. So if you are capable of using mines, go for Proxy Mine instead of CS. I can't aim the mines worth a damn myself uuugh.

Yeah i've found that the higher the difficulty the better the player, though the risk of having a worthless game is still there so i don't do it often. Hell in the "challenge" weekend gold runs i've always gone for a public gold match. Turns out randoms are better than my friends at the credit hoarding technique.

For Soldier i don't use him on anything other than Bronze. Silver depending on whether i've got a decent team with me to pick up the slack of having no powers whatsoever. The Sentinel is a good character to have for gold runs (and works well in his own right on bronze/silver) and easily compliments a tech or biotic set up for numerous tech bursts and biotic explosions.

For the Soldier i go with the Phaeston with the Mark V barrel upgrade and AP weapon bonus. This i've found is amazingly amazing combined especially with adrenaline burst. I focus more on the proxy mines than  the concussive rounds though, as they're usful for stripping shields in lieu of the lack of tech powers. Definately go for radius on that first, then go power. Makes it easier to set traps. Also go for the headshot and stability bonuses to remove even more of the already minimal recoil.

Sentinel is a bit of a doozy, since not everyone has the N7 Eagle, so i recommend your favorite lightweight pistol if you don't have it. I take the point out of the tech armour (with a reset powers token) to assist in power recharge, and by level 20 i have all the other bars filled out. Since i use him in a range of gametypes, i went with extra damage to armour with the Warp ability over more power in the biotic explosions. Also with Overload go for the pwoer that allows it to "hit" another enemy, gives someone with energy drain more targets to set up a tech burst. As with the soldier, go with the stability bonus and headshot bonus.

Hope it helps, though the Soldier takes more work to actually do well with, Sentinel is easier to rack up points.

It was a random game, but I actually think they were in a party and just wanted another friend to come in, which i can understand, i've done that a lot too. Though it wouldn't surprise me if they were butthurt over being out played, even though for a couple of rounds i only got, what, 2 kills or so.

Sounds similar to my xbox experience. Most of the time you get alright teammates, but thats just multiplayer in general. Its good 90% of the time.

I also make a point of not reviving any vanguard who charges brutes, banshees, atlas' and all the other enemies that scream "DO NOT BIO CHARGE".....and Krogan who insist on headbutting everything to death....

edit: stupid BW forums and their funky formatting bug...

I have friends who play Vanguards and charge everything...after I've Reaved the target. You can charge a instakill target, you just need to know that your friends can stagger the enemy fast enough to save your butt if you aren't fast enough to dodge it afterwards. One of my favourite things to watch is a Drell Vanguard charging a Banshee, setting off a huge biotic explosion on her, and then cartwheeling away so fast all you see is his feet flashing past you

The krogans though... They can't dodge, so meh. And while I do appreciate the fact that melee happy players get their melee classes, I personally don't like the Krogans at all. They are too loud and the win/lose situation most of the time ends in a lose situation when they run into the middle of a mob, die headbutting, and then bleed out because I'm too busy trying to kill the 5 pyros standing ontop of their corpse.

...I wish there were more turians in MP. Infiltrator and Engineer next plz?

It is kind of odd that there are no turian infiltrators when you think about it, considering how popular Garrus is you know. But more turians are always something to wish for , especialy female and hot ones.

I regularly play on gold. I'm often an asari adept or infiltrator, haven't had much opportunity to play turians. On bronze I expect lolcombinations. Hell...could probably been fine with 4 lvl1 krogans for all I care. There are ****s out there. I don't find them too often but in bronze I expect people to die super often.

Unfortunately the turian classes don't come up much in gold. They're hearty and can withstand some force, but unless a sentinel is with an asari adept or something that can kabooms with him, not too viable.

I rarely see soldiers in gold. I think that you've got to be a little more finnessed than pew pew booms.
Finding a random gold group that could finish fine isn't rare, but this weekend was facepalm. The good gold players typically play on weekday afternoons I found.

The Turian soldier is actually damn Gold viable if you know how to play him right. Have a friend who plays on Xbox and refuses to play any other class than the turian soldier on Gold just because he's been called out on it so many times in lobbies. (Though he recently stopped playing because he was flippin' his sh*t over the bugs and stuff).

Basically, as a Soldier class you don't really need super fast cooldown so you can stack two quite heavy guns on the character. This means some guns with awesome fire power. With the right mods on them, you can stagger basically everything - take the fully leveled Claymore as an example, with the right set-up it staggers even banshees.
Add the buffed Proxy mine with the upgrade that causes enemies to take more damage per shot for a while, and you've got a killingmachine.

The only problem with the turian is the fact that he and his sentinel brother are suffering from stiff joints or something, and thus end up catching rockets with their teeth more often than not. At least the sentinel has tech armor to compensate.

Basically tho, I don't have the skills to pull this off. I'm just a fangirl who doesn't know when to stop fawning over her favourite MP characters. Back to regularly scheduled Garrus and turians now? :D

Bwa ha haha!

Seriously though, I did almost punched Tali when she made a pass at him in the dextro chocolates conversation.  Come to think of it, I've never brought Dr. Michele on the Normandy (Chakwas is my girl).  Does she cause any trouble if she's onboard, too?

Should've sent Garrus to the Crucible.  Then the StarChild would just
throw himself at Garrus instead of forcing stupid choices on you.

No, she doesn't from all I've heard.  It's just the dextro chocolates conversation on the dreadnought, and if you're dating Garrus, Tali just gently makes fun of Shep instead of making a pass at Garrus.

The implication seems to be that Garrus is really, REALLY romance clueless unless the girl's right in his face hurling her metaphorical panties at him :P

EDIT for TOP:
