Garrus' parents' first names are never stated in-game. I don't know of any widely accepted fanon names personally, but I don't read a whole lot of fanfiction.

I have read (or at least looked into) quite a number of Garrus-related fictions, and I couldn't even name two authors who chose the same names for Garrus' parents. Most use either telling names based on Latin or pick names that sound like Latin, but given the "roots" of Turians or their culture, that's no real surprise.

Somehow I am missing Urz. My Shepards are Varren persons (and Space Hamster persons...), though I wonder about Garrus. Is there anything ever said about Turian pets or animals on Palaven in general?

I'm trying to come up with something for a package #NoShepardWithoutVakarian's doing for Bioware to show how much we adore Garrus.. Mine's probably not gonna be anywhere close to your level (starting at level 1 ) The Reach and Flexability scene was awesome

It's Jennifer Hale who voices Leah, in both the trailers and in the game.  Leah doesn't sound at all like FemShep, but I recognized her because the voice she uses for Leah is similar to the one for Bastila Shan in KOTOR.  

There are a couple of other VA tidbits in Diablo III; Gideon Emery (DAII's Fenris) turns up a few times, and Grey Delisle (Velanna from DA:A and Azula from Avatar) voices the female wizard.

And Claudia Black as Cydaea, Mistress of Pain(the spider chick in Act III)
I still miss Farscape and rewatch my DVDs about one a year.

Hm. Always had immersion problems with a Shepard / Joker pairing. Too much "younger brother" type, so my Shepards were never interested in him. And with ME3 and EDI, it gets even more difficult.
Though (partly) AU, I suppose, with three Shepards? And one of them Meghan, with Garrus? Interesting enough to give it a try, then. Thanks for the tip.

Um, is this a joke I don't quite get or just a demonstration that texture mapping on complex models can be difficult?

Curiosity again: Is it (easily) possible to assign different material properties to different parts of the mesh? I'd guess that the metallic visor looks a little off not only due to different lighting, but due to "wrong" settings regarding material. The blue glow is another matter, but since it is animated, I'd guess the only option to reconstruct it in 3ds Max would be faking it.
Is multitexturing used for the meshes?
