Amazing work. Probably very time-consuming, though. Still, totally worth it ^^

Edit: @Above: Not really sure if that's funny or disturbing...

It's both funny, disturbing and also kinda cute xD
Gotta say, people are getting really creative when it comes to turning the ME character into different lifeforms. I've even seen a rat Garrus.

I love how the femShep mouse is collapsed on top of the Garrus mouse.

Hey Clan V. I love that I can be away for almost 2 years and this thread is still doing the thing it's always done. :D

Been off the forums so as to avoid any and all spoilarz for 3 until I played it. It's been a saga, to be honest. Almost there - just been staring at the final choices screen for about 2 hours. lol. Garrus romance made me properly cry. In a good way.

Lovin' the Garrus squid! ^-^

Has anyone come across this fill on the kinkmeme? Curious Turians.

It's a very short, "small moments" type of fill prompted by the idea that turians are curious about humans and Garrus is around to be asked. As potentially funny as that might sound, I found the idea behind the fill was very well executed and neatly written. The captured moment is actually quite touching as well, so if you haven't come across it yet, go take a gander. The punches in this one might be pulled enough for our resident xenoprudes to have a go at it, but do proceed with caution.

Toodles!

That does make me wonder at the relative softness levels of exposed skin. It hadn't occurred to me to compare asari and human, but asari skin texture seems pretty varied. Closeups of Liara show that she has a slight but definite what I would call scale pattern to her skin, similar to drell. Maybe it changes according to the father's species (or grandfather, in Liara's case). I'm imagining quarians as having baby soft skin, though probably similar to human if they had an extended period out of the suit. I petted an iguana once, so that'll forever be Drell to me. :P

Turians... well, for me, the exposed skin would be tougher than human skin, but just as supple - like very fine leather. Warm, fine leather...

I wonder how Garrus reacted to the discovery that even female humans are covered almost entirely with a fine down of hair. It seems like the kind of thing that wouldn't be noticed or thought about until there's an awful lot of skin being shown, but even if he weren't already extremely observant, that visor has zoom. o_o

Well Garrus is extremely observant, that visor have a zoom I'm sure, and probably x-ray as well.

If ME3 is accepted as canon, I don't really understand the people who honestly vote for Jacob. Based on ME2, okay, but with ME3... Still don't know what the writers thought. Other than "lets save money", obviously.

That's something they've done a few times, actually. If you tell them something is wrong in the game (in this case, Jacob's romance , mostly because of Hale's performance and the "priiize" scene), they don't try to fix it, they just get rid of it.

They did the same with the Mako. :crying:

Just look at the bright side:
- The Mako is gone... :(
- ... but because of that, Shepard has less options to crash valuable tech or vehicles...
- ... Garrus has to spend less time fixing Mako parts... :)
- ... and can spend more time with Shepard

And after Shepard took option 4 (the yellow one, don't tell me you didn't see it ^^) at the end, meaning that all Reapers are gone, but everybody is saved and happy, Shepard and Garrus buy twenty Makos just for themselves, so that Shepard can go out and crash as many Makos as she likes.

Well then, if we follow this logic, then we should get rid of Normandy's guns as well - nothing left for Garrus to calibrate... except Shepard!

Okay, great, but the fact remains that when the Mako is gone, Garrus spends all his time calibrating!
Although I headcanon that after the Suicide Mission Shep gave a shore leave to everyone on the Normandy before dragging Garrus out of his precious main battery so he could spend his free time with her.

I still want the Mako back. Exploring planets, while being repetitive, gave me an incredible feeling.

Personally, I never had a problem with the Mako - I loved it and as Karrie said, the feeling of exploring planets was something that did not ever return in Mass Effect, sadly, and it was great when it was there - when the universe was still new to the player and he/she had a chance to discover.

My only complaint is the design of the "garden" worlds - the spiky mountains were always such a pain to navigate through. The Mako is not to blame because of that, the environment is. Apart from that, I never really found it annoying - the rest of the worlds were pretty Mako-friendly.

Good point. But would that be such a bad thing? ;)

Regarding exploring: What I liked about ME was the feeling that there's an actual "real" galaxy around that can be explored, with some pirates here, smugglers there, scientists, good guys, bad guys, some mercs, mining outposts, even some space cows or whatever. To a lesser extend, that feeling was still present in ME2, but at least for me, it's more or less gone in ME3. There, it's just "no time, Earth is burning" or "zombies, zombies everywhere". Btw, is there, apart from Kai Leng, any named miniboss around in ME3? Yeah, it's great that even the most stubborn merc groups come around and fight the giant space monsters, but I am somehow missing a little variety, other than "husk", "husk in Cerberus armor" and "reaper-code geth <==> robo-husk".

Good old Baldur's Gate. Being able to go from Candlekeep to Baldur's Gate on foot, through ten or more smaller maps, with spiders, bears, some ogres, mercs, crazy priests or whatever around - that's where I got the biggest "explore a real world" impression in a Bioware game.

Exactly. You really felt like you were exploring the galaxy. ME1 gave me a stronger feeling of playing a sci-fi game than the sequels.

I don't like the enemies in ME3, fighting Cerberus and the Reapers over and over again gets old really fast. Fighting the Geth in the Rannoch subplot was refreshing. At first. =P

I don't think I'll ever find a game I love more than good old Baldur's Gate. Except Garrus isn't in it.
